² From the end of the earth will I call unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: Lead me to the rock that is higher than I.

³ For thou hast been a refuge for me, A strong tower from the enemy.

⁴ I will dwell in thy tabernacle for ever: I will take refuge in the covert of thy wings. Selah

⁵ For thou, O God, hast heard my vows: Thou hast given me the heritage of those that fear thy name.

² Shall not my soul be subjected to God? for of him is my salvation.

³ For he is my God and my Saviour; my helper, I shall not be moved very much.

⁴ How long will ye assault a man? ye are all slaughtering as with a bowed wall and a broken hedge.

⁵ They only took counsel to set at nought mine honour: I ran in thirst: with their mouth they blessed, but with their heart they cursed. Pause.

² From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I.

³ For thou hast been a shelter for me, and a strong tower from the enemy.

² While I am discouraged and far from my home, I am calling out to you. Lead me to the place that is like a high rock MET on top of which I will be safe.

³ You have been my refuge; you have been like a strong tower MET in which I am safe from being attacked by my enemies.

⁴ Allow me to live close to your temple all during my life HYP! Allow me to be safe MET, like a little bird is safe under its mother's wings.

⁵ God, you heard me when I solemnly promised to give offerings to you; you have given to me the blessings that belong to those who have an awesome respect for you MTY.

² For he is my God, and my saviour; my helper, I shall not be moved very much.

⁵ For you, O God, have made answer to my prayers; you have given me the heritage of those who give honour to your name.

² From the end of the earth will I call unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: thou wilt lead me on to a rock which is too high for me.

³ For thou hast been a refuge for me, a strong tower from before the enemy.

⁴ I will sojourn in thy tent for ever; I will take refuge in the covert of thy wings. Selah.

⁵ For thou, O God, hast heard my vows; thou hast given me the inheritance of those that fear thy name.

² Shall not my soul be subject to God? for from him is my salvation.

³ For he is my God and my saviour: he is my protector, I shall be moved no more.

⁴ How long do you rush in upon a man? you all kill, as if you were thrusting down a leaning wall, and a tottering fence.

⁵ But they have thought to cast away my price; I ran in thirst: they blessed with their mouth, but cursed with their heart.

² From this distant place, far from home, I cry out to you as my courage fails. Take me to a rock high above me where I will be safe,

³ for you are my protection, a strong tower where my enemies cannot attack me.

⁴ Let me live with you forever; protect me under the shelter of your wings. Selah.

⁵ For you, God, have heard the promises I've made. You have given all those who love your character your special blessing.

² From the endes of the earth will I crye vnto thee: when mine heart is opprest, bring me vpon the rocke that is higher then I.

³ For thou hast bene mine hope, and a strong tower against the enemie.

⁴ I will dwell in thy Tabernacle for euer, and my trust shall be vnder the couering of thy wings. Selah.

⁵ For thou, O God, hast heard my desires: thou hast giuen an heritage vnto those that feare thy Name.

³ For he is my God and my Savior; My helper, I shall not be moved very much.

⁵ For thou, O God! wilt hear my vows, And give me the inheritance of those who fear thy name.

² From the ends of the earth I call unto you, when my heart is faint: lead me to the rock that is high above me.

³ For you are a refuge to me, a strong tower in face of the foe.

⁴ O to be guest in your tent forever, hiding beneath your sheltering wings! Selah

⁵ For you, O God, do hear my vows, and grant the desires of those who fear you.

³ For you are a refuge to me, a strong tower in face of the foe.

⁴ O to be guest in your tent forever, hiding beneath your sheltering wings! Selah

³ for thou art made mine hope; a tower of strength from the face of the enemy.

⁴ I shall dwell in thy tabernacle into worlds; I shall be covered in the covering of thy wings.

⁵ For thou, my God, hast heard my prayer; thou hast given heritage to them that dread thy name.

² From the ends of the land I cried to thee; the while mine heart was anguished, thou enhancedest me in a stone, (or and while my heart was anguished, thou liftedest me up on a rock). Thou leddest me forth,

³ for thou art made mine hope; a tower of strength from the face of the enemy. (for thou art made my hope; a tower of strength before my enemies.)

⁴ I shall dwell in thy tabernacle into worlds; I shall be covered in the covering of thy wings. (I shall live in thy Tent forever or I shall live in thy dwelling place forever; I shall be covered with the covering of thy wings.)

⁵ For thou, my God, hast heard my prayer; thou hast given heritage to them that dread thy name (or thou hast given me the inheritance of those who fear thy name or of those who revere thy name).

² From the end of the land unto Thee I call, In the feebleness of my heart, Into a rock higher than I Thou dost lead me.

³ For Thou hast been a refuge for me, A tower of strength because of the enemy.

⁴ I sojourn in Thy tent to the ages, I trust in the secret place of Thy wings. Selah.

⁵ For Thou, O God, hast hearkened to my vows, Thou hast appointed the inheritance Of those fearing Thy name.
