⁴ Thou hast given a banner to them that fear thee, That it may be displayed because of the truth. Selah

⁵ That thy beloved may be delivered, Save with thy right hand, and answer us.

⁶ God hath spoken in his holiness: I will exult; I will divide Shechem, and mete out the valley of Succoth.

⁷ Gilead is mine, and Manasseh is mine; Ephraim also is the defence of my head; Judah is my sceptre.

⁸ Moab is my washpot; Upon Edom will I cast my shoe: Philistia, shout thou because of me.

⁴ because thou wert my hope, a tower of strength from the face of the enemy.

⁵ I will dwell in thy tabernacle for ever; I will shelter myself under the shadow of thy wings. Pause.

⁶ For thou, O God, hast heard my prayers; thou hast given an inheritance to them that fear thy name.

⁷ Thou shalt add days to the days of the king; thou shalt lengthen his years to all generations.

⁸ He shall endure for ever before God: which of them will seek out his mercy and truth?

⁴ But you have raised a battle flag for those who revere you in order that they can gather around it and not be killed by the enemies' arrows.

⁵ Answer our prayers and enable us by your power MTY to defeat our enemies in order that we, the people whom you love, will be saved.”

⁶ Then God answered my prayer and spoke from his temple, saying, “Because I have conquered your enemies, I will divide up everything in Shechem city, and I will distribute it among my people the land in Succoth Valley.

⁷ The Gilead region is mine; the people of the tribe of Manasseh are mine; the tribe of Ephraim is like my helmet MET; and the tribe of Judah is like the ◄scepter/stick that I hold which shows that I am the ruler► MET;

⁸ but the Moab region is like my washbasin MET; I throw my sandal in the Edom area to show that it belongs to me; I shout triumphantly because I have defeated the people of the Philistia area.”

⁶ God has said in his holy place, I will be glad: I will make a division of Shechem, and the valley of Succoth will be measured out.

⁷ Gilead is mine, and Manasseh is mine; and Ephraim is the strength of my head; Judah is my law-giver;

⁸ Moab is my washpot; over Edom will I put out my shoe; over Philistia will a glad cry be sounded.

⁸ He abideth for ever in the sight of God: his mercy and truth who shall search?

⁴ But you have given those who respect you the banner of truth to unfurl and rally around. Selah.

⁵ Rescue those you love! Answer us, and save us by your power!

⁶ God has spoken from his Temple: “Triumphantly I divide up Shechem, and portion out the Valley of Succoth.

⁷ Both Gilead and Manasseh belong to me. Ephraim is my helmet, and Judah is my scepter.

⁸ I will treat Moab as my washbasin; I will place my sandal on Edom; I will shout in triumph over Philistia.”

⁴ But now thou hast giuen a banner to them that feare thee, that it may be displayed because of thy trueth. Selah.

⁶ God hath spoken in his holines: therefore I will reioyce: I shall deuide Shechem, and measure the valley of Succoth.

⁷ Gilead shalbe mine, and Manasseh shalbe mine: Ephraim also shalbe the strength of mine head: Iudah is my lawgiuer.

⁸ Moab shalbe my wash pot: ouer Edom will I cast out my shoe: Palestina shew thy selfe ioyfull for me.

⁷ (60:9) Mine is Gil'ad, and mine is Menasseh; Ephraim also is the strong-hold of my head; of Judah are my chiefs;

⁸ (60:10) Moab is my washpot; upon Edom will I cast my shoe: Philistia, triumph thou but over me.

⁴ because thou wert my hope, A tower of strength from the face of the enemy.

⁸ Moab From father is my wash basin. I will throw my shoe on Edom Red. I shout in triumph over Philistia.”

⁴ For those who honor you, you have set up a banner to be displayed against those who carry the bow. Selah

⁵ So that those you love may be rescued, rescue us with your right hand and answer me.

⁶ God has spoken in his holiness, “I will rejoice; I will divide Shechem and apportion out the Valley of Succoth.

⁷ Gilead is mine, and Manasseh is mine; Ephraim also is my helmet; Judah is my scepter.

⁴ Thou hast given a signifying to them that dread thee; that they flee from the face of the bow. (Thou hast given a sign, or a warning, to those who fear thee or to those who revere thee; so that they can flee, or escape, from the face of the bow.)

⁵ That thy darlings be delivered; make thou safe with thy right hand, and hear thou me. (Save thy dear ones; yea, save thou us with thy right hand, and answer thou me.)

⁶ God spake by his holy (place); I shall be glad, and I shall part Shechem, and I shall mete the great valley of tabernacles. (God spoke in his holiness or God spoke from his sanctuary, and he said, I shall be glad, and I shall divide Shechem; and I shall measure out the Succoth Valley.)

⁷ Gilead is mine, and Manasseh is mine; and Ephraim is the strength of mine head. Judah is my king; (Gilead is mine, and Manasseh is mine; Ephraim is my helmet, and Judah is my sceptre.)

⁸ Moab is the pot of mine hope. Into Idumea I shall stretch forth my shoe; aliens be made subject to me. (But Moab is my washbowl. And I shall throw my shoes at Edom; and Philistia shall be made subject to me.)

⁴ Thou hast given to those fearing thee an ensign. To be lifted up as an ensign Because of truth. Selah.

⁵ That Thy beloved ones may be drawn out, Save with Thy right hand, and answer us.

⁶ God hath spoken in His holiness: I exult — I apportion Shechem, And the valley of Succoth I measure,

⁷ Mine is Gilead, and mine is Manasseh, And Ephraim is the strength of my head, Judah is my lawgiver,

⁸ Moab is my pot for washing, over Edom I cast my shoe, Shout, concerning me, O Philistia.
