Psalms 5:2-5 in English

² Hearken unto the voice of my cry, my King, and my God; For unto thee do I pray.

³ O Jehovah, in the morning shalt thou hear my voice; In the morning will I order my prayer unto thee, and will keep watch.

⁴ For thou art not a God that hath pleasure in wickedness: Evil shall not sojourn with thee.

⁵ The arrogant shall not stand in thy sight: Thou hatest all workers of iniquity.

² Hearken to my words, O Lord, attend to my cry.

³ Attend to the voice of my supplication, my King, and my God: for to thee, O Lord, will I pray.

⁴ In the morning thou shalt hear my voice: in the morning will I wait upon thee, and will look up.

⁵ For thou art not a God that desires iniquity; neither shall the worker of wickedness dwell with thee.

³ My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.

⁵ The foolish shall not stand in thy sight: thou hatest all workers of iniquity.

² You are my King and my God. When I call to you to ask you to help me, listen to me, because you are the one to whom I pray.

³ Listen to me when I pray to you each morning, and I wait for you to reply.

⁴ You are not a god who is pleased with wicked people; you do not ◄associate with/invite into your house► those who do what is evil.

⁵ You do not allow those who are very proud to come to you to worship you. You hate all those who do evil things.

³ My voice will come to you in the morning, O Lord; in the morning will I send my prayer to you, and keep watch.

⁴ For you are not a God who takes pleasure in wrongdoing; there is no evil with you.

⁵ The sons of pride have no place before you; you are a hater of all workers of evil.

² Hearken unto the voice of my crying, my king and my God; for to thee will I pray.

³ Jehovah, in the morning shalt thou hear my voice; in the morning will I address myself to thee, and will look up.

⁴ For thou art not a God that hath pleasure in wickedness; evil shall not sojourn with thee.

⁵ Insolent fools shall not stand before thine eyes; thou hatest all workers of iniquity.

² Give ear, O Lord, to my words, understand my cry.

³ Hearken to the voice of my prayer, O my King and my God.

⁴ For to thee will I pray: O Lord, in the morning thou shalt hear my voice.

⁵ In the morning I will stand before thee, and will see: because thou art not a God that willest iniquity.

² Hear me pleading for help, my King and my God, because I'm praying to you.

³ Please listen to what I have to say in the morning, Lord. Every morning I put my requests to you and wait for your reply.

⁴ For you are not a God who has any pleasure in wickedness; evil has no place with you.

⁵ The proud cannot come into your presence; you hate everyone who does evil.

² Hearken vnto the voyce of my crie, my King and my God: for vnto thee doe I pray.

³ Heare my voyce in the morning, O Lord: for in the morning will I direct me vnto thee, and I will waite.

⁴ For thou art not a God that loueth wickednes: neither shall euill dwell with thee.

⁵ The foolish shall not stand in thy sight: for thou hatest all them that worke iniquitie.

² (5-3) Hearken unto the voice of my cry, my King, and my God; for unto Thee do I pray.

³ (5-4) O LORD, in the morning shalt Thou hear my voice; in the morning will I order my prayer unto Thee, and will look forward.

⁴ (5-5) For Thou art not a God that hath pleasure in wickedness; evil shall not sojourn with Thee.

⁵ (5-6) The boasters shall not stand in Thy sight; Thou hatest all workers of iniquity.

³ My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O Lord; In the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.

⁴ For thou art not a God that hath pleasure in wickedness: Neither shall evil dwell with thee.

² (5:3) Listen unto the voice of my loud cry, my King, and my God, when unto thee I pray.

³ (5:4) O Lord! in the morning do thou hear my voice: in the morning will I set in order my prayer before thee, and 1ook up with hope.

⁴ (5:5) For thou art not a God that hath pleasure in wickedness: evil cannot abide with thee.

⁵ (5:6) The arrogant cannot stand up before thy eyes: thou hatest all workers of wickedness.

² Hearken to my words, O Lord, Attend to my cry.

³ Attend to the voice of my supplication, My King, and my God: For to thee, O Lord, will I pray.

⁴ In the morning thou shalt hear my voice: In the morning will I wait upon thee, and will look up.

⁴ For thou art not a God that hath pleasure in wickedness; The unrighteous man dwelleth not with thee.

⁵ The haughty shall not stand in thy sight; Thou hatest all that do iniquity.

² Attend to my loud cry for help, my king and my God.

³ When I pray to you, Lord, in the morning, hear my voice. I make ready for you in the morning, and look for a sign.

⁴ For you are no God who takes pleasure in wickedness: no one of evil can be your guest.

⁵ No braggarts can stand in your presence, you hate all workers of wrong.

² Attend to my loud cry for help, my king and my God.

³ When I pray to you, Lord, in the morning, hear my voice. I make ready for you in the morning, and look for a sign.

⁴ For you are no God who takes pleasure in wickedness: no one of evil can be your guest.

⁵ No braggarts can stand in your presence, you hate all workers of wrong.

² Listen to the voice of my cry, my King and my God; for to you do I pray.

³ Adonai , in the morning you shall sh'ma ·hear obey· my voice. In the morning I will lay my requests before you, and will watch expectantly.

⁴ For you are not a God who has pleasure in wickedness. Evil can’t live with you.

⁵ The arrogant shall not stand in your sight. You hate all workers of iniquity.

² Listen to the sound of my call, my King and my God, for it is to you that I pray.

³ Yahweh, in the morning you hear my cry; in the morning I will bring my petition to you and wait expectantly.

⁴ Certainly you are not a God who approves of evil; evil people will not be your guests.

⁵ The arrogant will not stand in your presence; you hate all who behave wickedly.

² Listen to the voice of my cry, my King and my God, for I pray to you.

³ Yahweh, in the morning you will hear my voice. In the morning I will lay my requests before you, and will watch expectantly.

⁴ For you are not a God who has pleasure in wickedness. Evil can’t live with you.

³ hear thou early my voice. Early I shall stand nigh to thee, and I shall see;

⁴ for thou art God not desiring wickedness. Neither an evil-willed man shall dwell beside thee;

⁵ neither unjust or unrightwise men shall dwell before thine eyes. Thou hatest all them that work wickedness;

² My king (or My King), and my God; give thou attention to the voice of my prayer. For, Lord, I shall pray to thee;

³ hear thou early my voice. Early I shall stand nigh to thee, and I shall see; (hear thou my voice in the morning. Early in the morning I shall stand near to thee, and I shall see thee;)

⁴ for thou art God not desiring wickedness. Neither an evil-willed man shall dwell beside thee; (for thou art not a God who desireth wickedness. No one with an evil will shall stand beside thee;)

⁵ neither unjust men shall dwell before thine eyes. Thou hatest all them that work wickedness; (nor shall the unrighteous stand before thine eyes. Thou hatest all those who do evil;)

² Be attentive to the voice of my cry, My king and my God, For unto Thee I pray habitually.

³ Jehovah, at morning Thou hearest my voice, At morning I set in array for Thee, And I look out.

⁴ For not a God desiring wickedness art Thou, Evil inhabiteth Thee not.

⁵ The boastful station not themselves before Thine eyes: Thou hast hated all working iniquity.
