³ The wicked are estranged from the womb: They go astray as soon as they are born, speaking lies.

⁴ Their poison is like the poison of a serpent: They are like the deaf adder that stoppeth her ear,

⁵ Which hearkeneth not to the voice of charmers, Charming never so wisely.

⁶ Break their teeth, O God, in their mouth: Break out the great teeth of the young lions, O Jehovah.

³ Deliver me from the workers of iniquity, and save me from bloody men.

⁴ For, behold, they have hunted after my soul; violent men have set upon me: neither is it my iniquity, nor my sin, O Lord.

⁵ Without iniquity I ran and directed my course aright: awake to help me, and behold.

⁶ And thou, Lord God of hosts, the God of Israel, draw nigh to visit all the heathen; pity not any that work iniquity. Pause.

³ Wicked people do wrong things and tell lies from the time that they are born DOU.

⁴ God, show in the heavens how great you are! And show your glory to people all over the earth! What wicked people say injures people like the venom of a snake MET; They refuse to listen to good advice, as though they were cobras that were deaf MET!

⁵ As a result, like a snake that does not respond when a charmer plays a flute or when someone sings magic songs, they do not pay attention when others rebuke them.

⁶ God, as for these enemies who want to attack me like young lions, break their teeth!

³ The evil-doers are strange from the first; from the hour of their birth they go out of the true way, saying false words.

⁴ Their poison is like the poison of a snake; they are like the adder, whose ears are shut;

⁵ Who will not be moved by the voice of the wonder-worker, however great are his powers.

⁶ O God, let their teeth be broken in their mouths; let the great teeth of the young lions be pulled out, O Lord.

³ The wicked go astray from the womb; they err as soon as they are born, speaking lies.

⁴ Their poison is like the poison of a serpent: they are like the deaf adder which stoppeth her ear;

⁵ Which doth not hearken to the voice of enchanters, of one charming ever so wisely.

⁶ O God, break their teeth in their mouth; break out the great teeth of the young lions, O Jehovah.

³ Deliver me from them that work iniquity, and save me from bloody men.

⁴ For behold they have caught my soul: the mighty have rushed in upon me:

⁵ Neither is it my iniquity, nor my sin, O Lord: without iniquity have I run, and directed my steps.

⁶ Rise up thou to meet me, and behold: even thou, O Lord, the God of hosts, the God of Israel. Attend to visit all the nations: have no mercy on all them that work iniquity.

³ The wicked are sinners from birth; from the moment they're born they tell lies.

⁴ They have venom like that of a poisonous snake, and just like a cobra they stop listening,

⁵ refusing to hear the voice of the snake charmers or the spellbinders.

⁶ God, break their teeth, and smash the jaws of these lions, Lord.

³ The wicked are strangers from ye wombe: euen from the belly haue they erred, and speake lyes.

⁴ Their poyson is euen like the poyson of a serpent: like ye deafe adder that stoppeth his eare.

⁵ Which heareth not the voyce of the inchanter, though he be most expert in charming.

⁶ Breake their teeth, O God, in their mouthes: breake the iawes of the yong lions, O Lord.

⁴ (58-5) Their venom is like the venom of a serpent; they are like the deaf asp that stoppeth her ear;

⁵ (58-6) Which hearkeneth not to the voice of charmers, or of the most cunning binder of spells.

⁶ (58-7) Break their teeth, O God, in their mouth; break out the cheek-teeth of the young lions, O LORD.

⁴ (58:5) They have poison like the poison of a serpent: they are like the deaf adder that stoppeth her ear;

⁵ (58:6) Which will not hearken to the voice of conjurers, yea, that of the wisest of all charmers.

⁶ (58:7) O God, break out their teeth in their mouth: the jaw-teeth of the young lions tear thou out, O Lord.

³ Deliver me from the workers of iniquity, And save me from bloody men.

⁴ For, behold, they have hunted after my soul; Violent men have set upon me: Neither is it my iniquity, nor my sin, O Lord.

⁵ Which listeneth not to the voice of the charmer, And of the sorcerer, skilful in incantations.

⁶ Break their teeth, O God! in their mouths! Break out the great teeth of the lions, O LORD!

⁴ Venom have they like the venom of snakes, they are like the deaf adder that stops her ears,

⁵ and refuses to listen to the voice of the charmer, or binder of spells, no matter how cunning.

⁶ O God, break to pieces the teeth in their mouth, tear out the great teeth of the young lions, Lord.

⁴ Venom have they like the venom of snakes, they are like the deaf adder that stops her ears,

⁵ and refuses to listen to the voice of the charmer, or binder of spells, no matter how cunning.

³ The wicked go astray even when they are in the womb; they go astray from birth, speaking lies.

⁴ Their poison is like a snake's poison; they are like a deaf adder that stops up its ears,

⁵ that pays no attention to the voice of charmers, no matter how skillful they are.

⁶ Break their teeth in their mouths, God; break out the great teeth of the young lions, Yahweh.

⁴ Strong vengeance is to them, by the likeness of a serpent; as of a deaf snake, and stopping his ears.

⁵ Which shall not hear the voice of charmers; and of a venom-maker charming ever so wisely.

⁶ God shall all-break the teeth of them in their mouth; the Lord shall break altogether the great teeth of lions.

³ Sinners were made aliens from the womb (or Sinners, or evil-doers, go wrong from the womb); they erred from the womb, they spake false things.

⁴ Strong vengeance is to them, by the likeness of a serpent; as of a deaf snake, and stopping his ears. (Strong venom cometh forth from them, like that of serpents; and they be like a deaf snake that stoppeth its ears.)

⁵ Which shall not hear the voice of charmers; and of a venom-maker charming (ever so) wisely.

⁶ God shall all-break the teeth of them in their mouth; the Lord shall break (al)together the great teeth of lions. (O God, break all the teeth in their mouths; O Lord, break all in pieces the great teeth of these lions.)

³ The wicked have been estranged from the womb, They have erred from the belly, speaking lies.

⁴ Their poison is as poison of a serpent, As a deaf asp shutting its ear,

⁵ Which hearkeneth not to the voice of whisperers, A charmer of charms most skilful.

⁶ O God, break their teeth in their mouth, The jaw-teeth of young lions break down, O Jehovah.
