² Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God hath shined forth.

³ Our God cometh, and doth not keep silence: A fire devoureth before him, And it is very tempestuous round about him.

⁴ He calleth to the heavens above, And to the earth, that he may judge his people:

⁵ Gather my saints together unto me, Those that have made a covenant with me by sacrifice.

⁶ And the heavens shall declare his righteousness; For God is judge himself. Selah

⁷ Hear, O my people, and I will speak; O Israel, and I will testify unto thee: I am God, even thy God.

⁸ I will not reprove thee for thy sacrifices; And thy burnt-offerings are continually before me.

⁹ I will take no bullock out of thy house, Nor he-goats out of thy folds.

¹⁰ For every beast of the forest is mine, And the cattle upon a thousand hills.

¹¹ I know all the birds of the mountains; And the wild beasts of the field are mine.

³ Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy great mercy; and according to the multitude of thy compassions blot out my transgression.

⁵ For I am conscious of mine iniquity; and my sin is continually before me.

⁶ Against thee only have I sinned, and done evil before thee: that thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.

⁸ For, behold, thou lovest truth: thou hast manifested to me the secret and hidden things of thy wisdom.

⁹ Thou shalt sprinkle me with hyssop, and I shall be purified: thou shalt wash me, and I shall be made whiter than snow.

¹⁰ Thou shalt cause me to hear gladness and joy: the afflicted bones shall rejoice.

¹¹ Turn away thy face from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities.

² His glory shines from Zion Hill in Jerusalem, an extremely beautiful city.

³ Our God comes to us, and he is not silent. A great fire is in front of him, and a storm is around him.

⁴ He comes to judge his people. He shouts to the angels in heaven and to the people on the earth.

⁵ He says, “Summon those who faithfully worship me, those who made an agreement with me by offering sacrifices to me.”

⁶ The angels in heaven declare, “God is righteous, and he is the supreme judge.”

⁷ God says, “My people, listen! You Israeli people, listen, as I, your God, say what you have done that is wrong.

⁸ I am not rebuking you for making sacrifices to me, for the offerings that you completely burn on the altar.

⁹ But I do not really need you to sacrifice the bulls from your barns and the goats from your pens,

¹⁰ because all the animals in the forest belong to me, and all the cattle on a thousand hills also belong to me.

¹¹ I own and know all the birds and all the creatures that move around in the fields.

⁵ Let my saints come together to me; those who have made an agreement with me by offerings.

⁶ And let the heavens make clear his righteousness; for God himself is the judge. (Selah.)

⁷ Give ear, O my people, to my words; O Israel, I will be a witness against you; I am God, even your God.

⁸ I will not take up a cause against you because of your offerings, or because of your burned offerings, which are ever before me.

⁹ I will take no ox out of your house, or he-goats from your flocks;

¹⁰ For every beast of the woodland is mine, and the cattle on a thousand hills.

⁸ For behold thou hast loved truth: the uncertain and hidden things of thy wisdom thou hast made manifest to me.

⁹ Thou shalt sprinkle me with hyssop, and I shall be cleansed: thou shalt wash me, and I shall be made whiter than snow.

¹⁰ To my hearing thou shalt give joy and gladness: and the bones that have been humbled shall rejoice.

¹¹ Turn away thy face from my sins, and blot out all my iniquities.

² God shines out of Mount Zion, perfect in beauty.

³ Our God arrives, and does not stay quiet. Fire flames before him, burning everything up; a violent storm rages around him.

⁴ He summons the heavens above and the earth to witness the judgment of his people.

⁵ “Bring me those who trust in me—those who confirmed the agreement with me through sacrifice.”

⁶ The heavens declare his decisions are right, for God himself is the judge. Selah.

⁷ “My people, listen to what I have to say. I am bringing charges against you, Israel. I am God, your God!

⁸ I'm not complaining about your sacrifices or burnt offerings that you offer all the time.

⁹ I do not require bulls from your barns or goats from your pens,

¹⁰ for I own all the animals of the forest, and the cattle on a thousand hills belong to me.

¹¹ I know every bird of the mountains; all living things in the fields are mine.

³ our God, and he shall not be still. Fire shall burn on high in his sight; and a strong tempest in his compass.

⁴ He called heaven above; and the earth, to witness him deem his people.

⁵ Gather ye to him his saints; that ordain his testament above sacrifices.

⁶ And heavens shall show his rightwiseness or tell his rightfulness; for God is the judge.

⁷ My people, hear thou, and I shall speak to Israel; and I shall witness to thee, I am God, thy God.

⁸ I shall not reprove thee in thy sacrifices; and thy burnt sacrifices be evermore before me.

⁹ I shall not take calves of thine house; neither goat bucks of thy flocks.

¹⁰ For all the wild beasts of woods be mine; work beasts, and oxes or oxen in hills.

¹¹ I have known all the volatiles of the firmament; and the fairness of the field is with me.

² The shape of his fairness from Zion, God shall come openly; (God shineth from Zion, perfect in beauty;)

³ our God, and he shall not be still. Fire shall burn on high in his sight; and a strong tempest in his compass. (our God shall come, and he shall not be silent. Fire shall burn on high before him; and it shall be a strong tempest surrounding him or and a strong tempest shall surround him.)

⁴ He called heaven above; and the earth, to (witness him) deem his people. (He calleth heaven above, and the earth beneath, to the judgement of his people.)

⁵ Gather ye to him his saints; that ordain his testament above sacrifices. (And he saith, Gather my saints to me; those who have made a covenant with me, by offering a sacrifice.)

⁶ And heavens shall show his rightwiseness/And heavens shall tell his rightfulness; for God is the judge. (And the heavens shall tell out his righteousness; for God himself is the judge.)

⁷ My people, hear thou, and I shall speak to Israel; and I shall witness to thee, I am God, thy God. (My people, hear thou, and I shall speak; Israel, I shall testify against thee; I am God, thy God.)

⁸ I shall not reprove thee in thy sacrifices; and thy burnt sacrifices be evermore before me. (I shall not rebuke thee for thy sacrifices, and for thy burnt sacrifices, that be before me forevermore./Shall I not rebuke thee for thy sacrifices, and for thy burnt sacrifices, that be before me forevermore?)

⁹ I shall not take calves of thine house; neither goat bucks of thy flocks. (But I do not need calves from thy house, or thy farm; or goat bucks from thy flocks.)

¹⁰ For all the wild beasts of (the) woods be mine; work beasts, and oxes in hills, (or and the work beasts as well, and the oxen on the hills).

¹¹ I have known all the volatiles of the firmament; and the fairness of the field is with me. (I know all the birds on those hills; and the wild beasts of the fields be mine.)

² From Zion, the perfection of beauty, God shone.

³ Our God cometh, and is not silent, Fire before Him doth devour, And round about him it hath been very tempestuous.

⁴ He doth call unto the heavens from above, And unto the earth, to judge His people.

⁵ Gather ye to Me My saints, Making covenant with Me over a sacrifice.

⁶ And the heavens declare His righteousness, For God Himself is judge. Selah.

⁷ Hear, O My people, and I speak, O Israel, and I testify against thee, God, thy God am I.

⁸ Not for thy sacrifices do I reprove thee, Yea, thy burnt-offerings Are before Me continually.

⁹ I take not from thy house a bullock, From thy folds he goats.

¹⁰ For Mine is every beast of the forest, The cattle on the hills of oxen.

¹¹ I have known every fowl of the mountains, And the wild beast of the field is with Me.
