Psalms 50:11-19 in American Standard Version (1901)

11 I know all the birds of the mountains; And the wild beasts of the field are mine.
12 If I were hungry, I would not tell thee; For the world is mine, and the fulness thereof.
13 Will I eat the flesh of bulls, Or drink the blood of goats?
14 Offer unto God the sacrifice of thanksgiving; And pay thy vows unto the Most High;
15 And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me.
16 But unto the wicked God saith, What hast thou to do to declare my statutes, And that thou hast taken my covenant in thy mouth,
17 Seeing that thou hatest instruction, And castest my words behind thee?
18 When thou sawest a thief, thou consentedst with him, And hast been partaker with adulterers.
19 Thou givest thy mouth to evil, And thy tongue frameth deceit.
Psalms 50 in American Standard Version (1901)

Psalms 50:11-19 in Brenton Septuagint Translation

11 Turn away thy face from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities.
12 Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit in my inward parts.
13 Cast me not away from thy presence; and remove not thy Holy Spirit from me.
14 Restore to me the joy of thy salvation: establish me with thy directing Spirit.
15 Then will I teach transgressors thy ways; and ungodly men shall turn to thee.
16 Deliver me from blood-guiltiness, O God, the God of my salvation: and my tongue shall joyfully declare thy righteousness.
17 O Lord, thou shalt open my lips; and my mouth shall declare thy praise.
18 For if thou desiredst sacrifice, I would have given it: thou wilt not take pleasure in whole-burnt-offerings.
19 Sacrifice to God is a broken spirit: a broken and humbled heart God will not despise.

Psalms 50:11-19 in Translation for Translators

11 I own and know all the birds and all the creatures that move around in the fields.
12 So, if I were hungry, I would not tell you to bring me some food, because everything in the world belongs to me!
13 I do not eat the flesh of the bulls that you sacrifice, and I do not drink the blood of the goats that you offer to me.
14 The sacrifice that I really want is that you thank me and do all that you have promised to do.
15 And pray to me when you have troubles. If you do that, I will rescue you, and then you will praise me.
16 But I say this to the wicked people: ◄Why do you/It does not benefit you at all to► RHQ recite my commandments or talk about the agreement that I made with you,
17 because you have refused to allow me to discipline you, and you have rejected what I told you to do.
18 Every time that you see a thief, you become his friend, and you spend much time with those who commit adultery.
19 You are always talking MTY about doing wicked things, and you are always trying to deceive people.

11 I see all the birds of the mountains, and the beasts of the field are mine.
12 If I had need of food, I would not give you word of it; for the earth is mine and all its wealth.
13 Am I to take the flesh of the ox for my food, or the blood of goats for my drink?
14 Make an offering of praise to God; keep the agreements which you have made with the Most High;
15 Let your voice come up to me in the day of trouble; I will be your saviour, so that you may give glory to me.
16 But to the sinner, God says, What are you doing, talking of my laws, or taking the words of my agreement in your mouth?
17 Seeing that you have no desire for my teaching, turning your back on my words.
18 When you saw a thief, you were in agreement with him, and you were joined with those who took other men's wives.
19 You have given your mouth to evil, your tongue to words of deceit.

16 But unto the wicked God saith, What hast thou to do to declare my statutes, or that thou shouldest take my covenant into thy mouth,

16 Deliver me from blood, O God, thou God of my salvation: and my tongue shall extol thy justice.
17 O Lord, thou wilt open my lips: and my mouth shall declare thy praise.

11 I have known all the volatiles of the firmament; and the fairness of the field is with me.
12 If I shall be hungry, I shall not say to thee; for the world and the fullness thereof is mine.
13 Whether I shall eat the flesh of bulls? either shall I drink the blood of goat bucks?
14 Offer thou to God the sacrifice of praising; and yield thine avows or vows to the highest God.
15 And inwardly call thou me in the day of tribulation; and I shall deliver thee, and thou shalt honour me.
16 But God said to the sinner, Why tellest thou out my rightfulnesses; and takest my testament by thy mouth?
17 Soothly thou hatedest lore, or discipline; and hast cast away my words behind thee.
18 If thou sawest a thief, thou rannest with him; and thou settedest thy part with adulterers.
19 Thy mouth was plenteous of malice; and thy tongue meddled together guiles or treacheries.
