⁹ We have thought on thy lovingkindness, O God, In the midst of thy temple.

¹⁰ As is thy name, O God, So is thy praise unto the ends of the earth: Thy right hand is full of righteousness.

¹¹ Let mount Zion be glad, Let the daughters of Judah rejoice, Because of thy judgments.

¹² Walk about Zion, and go round about her; Number the towers thereof;

¹³ Mark ye well her bulwarks; Consider her palaces: That ye may tell it to the generation following.

⁹ or the price of the redemption of his soul, though he labour for ever,

¹⁰ and live to the end, so that he should not see corruption.

¹¹ When he shall see wise men dying, the fool and the senseless one shall perish together; and they shall leave their wealth to strangers.

¹² And their sepulchres are their houses for ever, even their tabernacles to all generations: they have called their lands after their own names.

¹³ And man being in honour, understands not: he is compared to the senseless cattle, and is like to them.

¹⁰ You MTY are famous and ◄are praised/people praise you► all over the earth, because you rule powerfully MTY and justly.

¹¹ The people who live near Zion Hill should be happy! The people in all the cities MTY of Judah should rejoice because you judge people fairly.

¹² You Israeli people should walk around Zion Hill and count the towers there;

¹³ notice the walls there and examine the forts in order that you can tell about them to your children.

⁹ and live to the end, so that he should not see corruption.

¹⁰ When he shall see wise men dying, the fool and the senseless one shall perish together; and they shall leave their wealth to strangers.

¹² Make your way about Zion, and go round it, numbering its towers.

¹³ Take note of its strong walls, looking well at its fair buildings; so that you may give word of it to the generation which comes after.

⁹ Nor the price of the redemption of his soul: and shall labour for ever,

¹⁰ And shall still live unto the end.

¹¹ He shall not see destruction, when he shall see the wise dying: the senseless and the fool shall perish together: And they shall leave their riches to strangers:

¹² And their sepulchres shall be their houses for ever. Their dwelling places to all generations: they have called their lands by their names.

¹³ And man when he was in honour did not understand; he is compared to senseless beasts, and is become like to them.

⁹ God, we recall your trustworthy love as we worship in the Temple.

¹⁰ As is fitting for your reputation, God, praises to you stretch all around the world. What you do is always right!

¹¹ Let the people of Mount Zion be glad; let the people of Judah celebrate because your judgments are always fair!

¹² Go and take a look at Zion. Count the towers as you walk around.

¹³ Inspect the fortifications. Examine the citadels, so you can describe everything to the next generation, telling them:

⁹ We waite for thy louing kindnes, O God, in the middes of thy Temple.

¹⁰ O God, according vnto thy Name, so is thy prayse vnto the worlds end: thy right hand is full of righteousnes.

¹¹ Let mount Zion reioyce, and the daughters of Iudah be glad, because of thy iudgements.

¹² Compasse about Zion, and goe round about it, and tell the towres thereof.

¹³ Marke well the wall thereof: beholde her towres, that ye may tell your posteritie.

¹³ (48:14) Direct your mind to her outer wall, mark carefully her palaces: in order that ye may tell it to the latest generation.

¹¹ Mount Zion rejoiceth, The daughters of Judah exult, On account of thy righteous judgments.

¹² Go round about Zion; number her towers;

¹³ Mark well her bulwarks; count her palaces; That ye may tell it to the next generation!

⁹ We think, O God, of your love, in the midst of your temple.

¹⁰ Your fame, O God, like your name, shall extend to the ends of the earth. Victory fills your hand.

¹¹ Let mount Zion be glad; let the daughters of Judah rejoice because of your judgements.

¹² Walk about Zion, go round her; count her towers.

¹³ Set your mind on her ramparts, consider her palaces; that you tell to the next generation

⁹ We think, O God, of your love, in the midst of your temple.

¹⁰ Your fame, O God, like your name, shall extend to the ends of the earth. Victory fills your hand.

¹¹ Let Mount Zion Mountain ridge, Marking be glad! Let the daughters of Judah Praised rejoice, Because of your judgments.

¹² Walk about Zion Mountain ridge, Marking, and go around her. Number its towers.

¹³ Mark well her bulwarks. Consider her palaces, that you may tell it to the next generation.

⁹ We have thought about your covenant faithfulness, God, in the middle of your temple.

¹⁰ As your name is, God, so is your praise to the ends of the earth; your right hand is full of righteousness.

¹¹ Let Mount Zion be glad, let the daughters of Judah rejoice because of your righteous decrees.

¹² Walk around Mount Zion, go round about her; count her towers,

¹³ notice well her walls, and look at her palaces so that you may tell it to the next generation.

¹⁰ After thy name, God, so thy praising is spread abroad into the ends of earth; thy right hand is full of rightwiseness.

¹¹ The hill of Zion be glad, and the daughters of Judah be fully joyful or full out joy; for thy dooms, Lord.

¹² Compass ye Zion, and embrace ye it; tell ye in the towers thereof.

¹³ Set ye your hearts in the virtue of him; and part ye the houses of him, that ye tell out in another generation.

⁹ God, we have received thy mercy; in the midst of thy temple. (God, we think about thy love; in the midst of thy Temple.)

¹⁰ After thy name, God, so thy praising is spread abroad into the ends of earth; thy right hand is full of rightwiseness. (The praising of thy name, O God, is spread abroad unto the ends of the earth; thy right hand is full of righteousness.)

¹¹ The hill of Zion be glad, and the daughters of Judah be fully joyful; for thy dooms, Lord. (Let Mount Zion be glad, or rejoice, and let the daughters of Judah make full out joy; because of thy judgements, Lord.)

¹² Compass ye Zion, and embrace ye it; tell ye in the towers thereof. (March ye around Zion, ye people; and count ye up its towers.)

¹³ Set ye your hearts in the virtue of him; and part ye the houses of him, that ye tell out in another generation. (Put ye its strongholds, or its fortresses, in your hearts; and think ye about its palaces, so that ye can tell about it to the next generation.)

⁹ We have thought, O God, of Thy kindness, In the midst of Thy temple,

¹⁰ As is Thy name, O God, so is Thy praise, Over the ends of the earth, Righteousness hath filled Thy right hand.

¹¹ Rejoice doth Mount Zion, The daughters of Judah are joyful, For the sake of Thy judgments.

¹² Compass Zion, and go round her, count her towers,

¹³ Set your heart to her bulwark, Consider her high places, So that ye recount to a later generation,
