⁸ As we have heard, so have we seen In the city of Jehovah of hosts, in the city of our God: God will establish it for ever. Selah

⁹ We have thought on thy lovingkindness, O God, In the midst of thy temple.

¹⁰ As is thy name, O God, So is thy praise unto the ends of the earth: Thy right hand is full of righteousness.

¹¹ Let mount Zion be glad, Let the daughters of Judah rejoice, Because of thy judgments.

¹² Walk about Zion, and go round about her; Number the towers thereof;

⁸ A brother does not redeem, shall a man redeem? he shall not give to God a ransom for himself,

⁹ or the price of the redemption of his soul, though he labour for ever,

¹⁰ and live to the end, so that he should not see corruption.

¹¹ When he shall see wise men dying, the fool and the senseless one shall perish together; and they shall leave their wealth to strangers.

¹² And their sepulchres are their houses for ever, even their tabernacles to all generations: they have called their lands after their own names.

⁸ We had heard that this city is glorious, and now we have seen that it is. It is the city in which Yahweh, the almighty one, lives. It is the city which God will preserve/protect forever.

⁹ God, here in your temple we think about how you faithfully love us.

¹⁰ You MTY are famous and ◄are praised/people praise you► all over the earth, because you rule powerfully MTY and justly.

¹¹ The people who live near Zion Hill should be happy! The people in all the cities MTY of Judah should rejoice because you judge people fairly.

¹² You Israeli people should walk around Zion Hill and count the towers there;

⁸ or the price of the redemption of his soul, though he labour for ever,

⁹ and live to the end, so that he should not see corruption.

¹⁰ When he shall see wise men dying, the fool and the senseless one shall perish together; and they shall leave their wealth to strangers.

¹² Make your way about Zion, and go round it, numbering its towers.

⁸ Just as we had heard, but now we have seen the city of the Lord Almighty. This is the city of our God; he makes it secure forever. Selah.

⁹ God, we recall your trustworthy love as we worship in the Temple.

¹⁰ As is fitting for your reputation, God, praises to you stretch all around the world. What you do is always right!

¹¹ Let the people of Mount Zion be glad; let the people of Judah celebrate because your judgments are always fair!

¹² Go and take a look at Zion. Count the towers as you walk around.

⁸ As we haue heard, so haue we seene in the citie of the Lord of hostes, in the Citie of our God: God will stablish it for euer. Selah.

⁹ We waite for thy louing kindnes, O God, in the middes of thy Temple.

¹⁰ O God, according vnto thy Name, so is thy prayse vnto the worlds end: thy right hand is full of righteousnes.

¹¹ Let mount Zion reioyce, and the daughters of Iudah be glad, because of thy iudgements.

¹² Compasse about Zion, and goe round about it, and tell the towres thereof.

¹² Go round about Zion; number her towers;

⁸ What we heard, we now have seen in the city of the Lord of hosts, the city of our God. God will uphold her forever. Selah

⁹ We think, O God, of your love, in the midst of your temple.

¹⁰ Your fame, O God, like your name, shall extend to the ends of the earth. Victory fills your hand.

¹¹ The hill of Zion be glad, and the daughters of Judah be fully joyful or full out joy; for thy dooms, Lord.

¹² Compass ye Zion, and embrace ye it; tell ye in the towers thereof.

⁸ As we heard, so we saw, in the city of the Lord of virtues, in the city of our God; God hath founded that city into without end. (All that we had heard about, we saw with our own eyes, in the city of the Lord of hosts, in the city of our God; and God hath established that city forever.)

⁹ God, we have received thy mercy; in the midst of thy temple. (God, we think about thy love; in the midst of thy Temple.)

¹⁰ After thy name, God, so thy praising is spread abroad into the ends of earth; thy right hand is full of rightwiseness. (The praising of thy name, O God, is spread abroad unto the ends of the earth; thy right hand is full of righteousness.)

¹¹ The hill of Zion be glad, and the daughters of Judah be fully joyful; for thy dooms, Lord. (Let Mount Zion be glad, or rejoice, and let the daughters of Judah make full out joy; because of thy judgements, Lord.)

¹² Compass ye Zion, and embrace ye it; tell ye in the towers thereof. (March ye around Zion, ye people; and count ye up its towers.)
