¹⁰ Hearken, O daughter, and consider, and incline thine ear; Forget also thine own people, and thy father’s house:

¹¹ So will the king desire thy beauty; For he is thy lord; and reverence thou him.

¹² And the daughter of Tyre shall be there with a gift; The rich among the people shall entreat thy favor.

¹³ The king’s daughter within the palace is all glorious: Her clothing is inwrought with gold.

¹⁴ She shall be led unto the king in broidered work: The virgins her companions that follow her Shall be brought unto thee.

¹⁰ Putting an end to wars as for the ends of the earth; he will crush the bow, and break in pieces the weapon, and burn the bucklers with fire.

¹¹ Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.

¹² The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our helper.

¹³ O king, your bride will be entering the palace wearing beautiful robes made from gold thread.

¹⁴ While she is wearing a gown that has many colors, her companions will lead her to you. She will have many other young women who accompany her.

¹⁴ She will come before the king in robes of needlework; the virgins in her train will come before you.

¹⁰ Making wars to cease even to the end of the earth. He shall destroy the bow, and break the weapons: and the shield he shall burn in the fire.

¹² The Lord of armies is with us: the God of Jacob is our protector.

¹⁰ Listen to what I have to say, daughter; please pay attention. Don't pine for your people and your family.

¹¹ May the king desire you in your beauty; respect him, for he is your lord.

¹² The people of Tyre will come with gifts; rich people will look for your favor.

¹³ Inside her preparation room the princess bride looks wonderful in her golden gown.

¹⁴ Wearing her beautiful clothes she is brought to the king, followed by her bridesmaids.

¹⁰ Hearken, O daughter, and consider, and incline thine eare: forget also thine owne people and thy fathers house.

¹¹ So shall the King haue pleasure in thy beautie: for he is thy Lord, and reuerence thou him.

¹² And the daughter of Tyrus with the rich of the people shall doe homage before thy face with presents.

¹³ The Kings daughter is all glorious within: her clothing is of broydred golde.

¹⁴ She shalbe brought vnto the King in raiment of needle worke: the virgins that follow after her, and her companions shall be brought vnto thee.

¹⁰ (45-11) 'Hearken, O daughter, and consider, and incline thine ear; forget also thine own people, and thy father's house;

¹¹ (45-12) So shall the king desire thy beauty; for he is thy lord; and do homage unto him.

¹² (45-13) And, O daughter of Tyre, the richest of the people shall entreat thy favour with a gift.'

¹³ (45-14) All glorious is the king's daughter within the palace; her raiment is of chequer work inwrought with gold.

¹⁴ (45-15) She shall be led unto the king on richly woven stuff; the virgins her companions in her train being brought unto thee.

¹³ (45:14) All gloriously attired awaiteth the king's daughter in the inner chamber: of wrought gold is her garment.

¹⁴ (45:15) In embroidered clothes will she be brought unto the king: virgins that follow her, her companions, are brought unto thee.

¹¹ And when the king desires your beauty, bow to him, for he is your lord.

¹² So shall the Tyrians come with gifts, and the richest of people will do you homage.

¹³ The king's daughter is glorious altogether, with dress of pearls inwrought with gold.

¹⁴ In many-coloured robes she is led to the king, with the virgin companions she brought in her train.

¹⁴ she is clothed about with diversities. Virgins shall be brought to the king after her; her neighbouresses shall be brought to thee.

¹⁰ Daughter, hear thou, and see, and bow down thine ear; and forget thy (own) people, and the house of thy father.

¹¹ And the king shall covet thy fairness; for he is thy Lord God, and they shall worship him. (And when the king shall desire thy beauty; for he is thy lord, thou shalt give him honour, that is, thou shalt obey him.)

¹² And the daughters of Tyre in gifts; all the rich men of the people shall beseech thy cheer. (And the daughters of Tyre shall be there with gifts; all the rich men of the nations shall seek thy favour.)

¹³ All the glory of that daughter of the king is within, (she is adorned) in golden hems; (The daughter of the king is inside the palace, and how glorious she is, adorned in golden hems;)

¹⁴ she is clothed about with diversities. Virgins shall be brought to the king after her; her neighbouresses shall be brought to thee. (she is clothed with much diversity. Her virgins shall be brought to the king after her; yea, her friends shall be brought to thee.)

¹⁰ Hearken, O daughter, and see, incline thine ear, And forget thy people, and thy father's house,

¹¹ And the king doth desire thy beauty, Because he is thy lord — bow thyself to him,

¹² And the daughter of Tyre with a present, The rich of the people do appease thy face.

¹³ All glory is the daughter of the king within, Of gold-embroidered work is her clothing.

¹⁴ In divers colours she is brought to the king, Virgins — after her — her companions, Are brought to thee.
