⁶ For I will not trust in my bow, Neither shall my sword save me.

⁷ But thou hast saved us from our adversaries, And hast put them to shame that hate us.

⁸ In God have we made our boast all the day long, And we will give thanks unto thy name for ever. Selah

⁹ But now thou hast cast us off, and brought us to dishonor, And goest not forth with our hosts.

⁶ Thy weapons are sharpened, Mighty One, (the nations shall fall under thee) they are in the heart of the king's enemies.

⁷ Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: the sceptre of thy kingdom is a sceptre of righteousness.

⁸ Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity: therefore God, thy God, has anointed thee with the oil of gladness beyond thy fellows.

⁹ Myrrh, and stacte, and cassia are exhaled from thy garments, and out of the ivory palaces,

⁹ But now you have rejected us and caused us to be disgraced; when our armies march out to fight a battle, you no longer go with them.

⁶ Your throne, O God, is for ever and ever: the sceptre of your kingdom is a sceptre of righteousness.

⁷ You have loved righteousness, and hated iniquity: therefore God, your God, has anointed you with the oil of gladness beyond your fellows.

⁶ Thy arrows are sharp: under thee shall people fall, into the hearts of the king’s enemies.

⁷ Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: the sceptre of thy kingdom is a sceptre of uprightness.

⁸ Thou hast loved justice, and hated iniquity: therefore God, thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.

⁹ Myrrh and stacte and cassia perfume thy garments, from the ivory houses: out of which

⁶ I do not trust my bow; I do not have confidence in my sword to save me.

⁷ You are the one who saves us from our enemies; you defeat those who hate us.

⁸ God, we proudly thank you all day long, and praise your name forever. Selah.

⁹ But now you have rejected and disgraced us; you no longer accompany our armies.

⁶ For I do not trust in my bowe, neither can my sworde saue me.

⁷ But thou hast saued vs from our aduersaries, and hast put them to confusion that hate vs.

⁸ Therefore will wee praise God continually, and will confesse thy Name for euer. Selah.

⁹ But now thou art farre off, and puttest vs to confusion, and goest not forth with our armies.

⁸ We shall be pleased in God all day; and in thy name we shall acknowledge to thee into the world. (We shall glory in God all day long; and we shall praise thy name forever.)

⁹ But now thou hast put us aback, and hast shamed us; and thou, Lord, shalt not go out in our virtues. (But now thou hast rejected us, and hast humbled us; and O Lord, thou no longer goeth out with our hosts, or our armies.)

⁷ For Thou hast saved us from our adversaries, And those hating us Thou hast put to shame.

⁹ In anger Thou hast cast off and causest us to blush, And goest not forth with our hosts.
