¹⁰ I have not hid thy righteousness within my heart; I have declared thy faithfulness and thy salvation; I have not concealed thy lovingkindness and thy truth from the great assembly.

¹¹ Withhold not thou thy tender mercies from me, O Jehovah; Let thy lovingkindness and thy truth continually preserve me.

¹² For innumerable evils have compassed me about; Mine iniquities have overtaken me, so that I am not able to look up; They are more than the hairs of my head; And my heart hath failed me.

¹³ Be pleased, O Jehovah, to deliver me: Make haste to help me, O Jehovah.

¹⁴ Let them be put to shame and confounded together That seek after my soul to destroy it: Let them be turned backward and brought to dishonor That delight in my hurt.

¹⁵ Let them be desolate by reason of their shame That say unto me, Aha, aha.

¹⁶ Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee: Let such as love thy salvation say continually, Jehovah be magnified.

¹³ But thou didst help me because of mine innocence, and hast established me before thee for ever.

¹⁰ And I have not kept to myself the news that you always act justly/fairly; when many of your people have gathered together to worship you in the temple, I have told them that you are faithful to us and save us. I have ◄not concealed/openly told people► that you faithfully love us and act loyally toward us.

¹¹ Yahweh, do not stop being merciful to me. Because you faithfully love me PRS and are loyal to me, always protect me.

¹² I have many troubles; so many that I cannot count them. My sins are like a flood that has covered me PRS, MET; they are so many that I cannot find my way. The sins that I have committed are more than the hairs on my head. I am very discouraged.

¹³ O Yahweh, please save me! Come quickly to help me!

¹⁴ Humble those who are happy about my troubles, and cause them to be disgraced and ashamed. Chase away those who are trying to get rid of me.

¹⁵ I hope/desire that those who make fun of me will be dismayed when you defeat them.

¹⁶ But I hope that all those who go to worship you will be very joyful DOU. I want those who love you because you saved them to shout repeatedly, “Yahweh is great!”

¹⁷ As for me, I am poor and needy DOU; but I know that Yahweh has not forgotten me. O my God, you are the one who saves and helps me, so please come quickly and help me!

¹⁰ But you, O Lord, have compassion upon me, and raise me up, and I shall requite them.

¹² For unnumbered evils are round about me; my sins have overtaken me, so that I am bent down with their weight; they are more than the hairs of my head, my strength is gone because of them.

¹³ Be pleased, O Lord, to take me out of danger; O Lord, come quickly and give me help.

¹⁴ Let those who go after my soul for its destruction have shame and trouble together; let them be turned back and made foolish who take pleasure in my trouble.

¹⁵ Let those who say to me, Aha, aha! be surprised because of their shame.

¹⁶ Let all those who are looking for you be glad and have joy in you; let the lovers of your salvation ever say, May the Lord be great.

¹⁷ Though I am poor and in need, the Lord has me in mind; you are my help and my saviour; let there be no waiting, O my God.

¹⁷ But I am afflicted and needy: the Lord thinketh upon me. Thou art my help and my deliverer: my God, make no delay.

¹¹ But thou, O Lord, have mercy on me, and raise me up again: and I will requite them.

¹² By this I know, that thou hast had a good will for me: because my enemy shall not rejoice over me.

¹³ But thou hast upheld me by reason of my innocence: and hast established me in thy sight for ever.

¹⁴ Blessed by the Lord the God of Israel from eternity to eternity. So be it. So be it.

¹⁰ I have not kept the truth of your goodness hidden inside me—I have spoken of your trustworthiness and your salvation. I have not concealed your unfailing love and your faithfulness from the whole congregation.

¹¹ Lord, please don't keep back your mercy from me. May your trustworthy love and faithfulness always be my protection.

¹² For I'm experiencing so many problems—I can't even count them! My sins have piled up so high I can't see over them. They're more than the number of hairs on my head! I feel like giving up!

¹³ Lord, please save me! Hurry, Lord, help me!

¹⁴ Please defeat and humiliate the people who are trying to kill me; turn back in disgrace those who want to hurt me.

¹⁵ May they be shocked at their defeat, those who taunted me.

¹⁶ But may everyone who comes to you be happy and glad; may those who love your salvation always say, “The Lord is great!”

¹⁷ As for me, I am poor and needy. May the Lord think about me. Help me! Save me! My God, please don't wait!

¹² For innumerable troubles haue compassed mee: my sinnes haue taken such holde vpon me, that I am not able to looke vp: yea, they are moe in nomber then the heares of mine head: therefore mine heart hath failed me.

¹³ Let it please thee, O Lord, to deliuer mee: make haste, O Lord, to helpe me.

¹⁴ Let them be confounded and put to shame together, that seeke my soule to destroye it: let them be driuen backward and put to rebuke, that desire mine hurt.

¹⁵ Let them be destroyed for a rewarde of their shame, which say vnto me, Aha, aha.

¹⁶ Let all them, that seeke thee, reioyce and be glad in thee: and let them, that loue thy saluation, say alway, The Lord be praysed.

¹⁷ Though I be poore and needie, the Lord thinketh on mee: thou art mine helper and my deliuerer: my God, make no tarying.

¹⁷ (40-18) But, as for me, that am poor and needy, the Lord will account it unto me; Thou art my help and my deliverer; O my God, tarry not.

¹⁷ I am poor and afflicted, yet the Lord thinketh upon me; Thou art my help and my deliverer; My God! make no delay!

¹⁰ not hiding it in my heart. I have told of your steadfast help, from the great congregation I hid not your love and your faithfulness.

¹¹ So do not restrain, Lord, your pity from us. Your love and your faithfulness — ever may they be our shield.

¹² For evils that cannot be numbered have compassed me round. My transgressions have followed me up — I can bear it no more. They are more than the hairs of my head, and my heart has forsaken me.

¹⁴ Let them be ashamed and completely disappointed who pursue my life to take it away. Let them be turned back and brought to dishonor, those who delight in hurting me.

¹⁷ But I am poor and needy; yet the LORD thinketh upon me: thou art my help and my deliverer; make no delay, O my God.

¹⁰ I have not hidden your righteousness within my heart. I have declared your faithfulness and your salvation. I have not concealed your loving kindness and your truth from the great assembly.

¹¹ Don’t withhold your tender mercies from me, LORD. Let your loving kindness and your truth continually preserve me.

¹² For innumerable evils have surrounded me. My iniquities have overtaken me, so that I am not able to look up. They are more than the hairs of my head. My heart has failed me.

¹³ Be pleased, LORD, to deliver me. Hurry to help me, LORD.

¹⁴ Let them be disappointed and confounded together who seek after my soul to destroy it. Let them be turned backward and brought to dishonor who delight in my hurt.

¹⁵ Let them be desolate by reason of their shame that tell me, “Aha! Aha!”

¹⁶ Let all those who seek you rejoice and be glad in you. Let such as love your salvation say continually, “Let the LORD be exalted!”

¹⁴ Be they shamed, and ashamed together; that seek my life, to take away it. Be they turned aback, and be they shamed or ashamed; that will or desire evils to me.

¹⁵ Bear they their confusion anon; that say to me, Well! well! in scorn.

¹⁶ All men that seek thee, be fully joyful or full out joy, and be glad in thee; and say they, that love thine health, The Lord be magnified ever-more.

¹⁷ Forsooth I am a beggar and poor; the Lord is busy of me. Thou art mine helper and my defender; my God, tarry thou not.

¹⁰ I hid not thy rightfulness in mine heart; I said thy truth and thine health. I hid not thy mercy, and thy truth, from a much council. (I kept not thy righteousness, or thy goodness, hidden in my heart; I spoke about thy faithfulness, and thy salvation, or thy deliverance. I hid not thy love, and thy faithfulness, from the great congregation.)

¹¹ But thou, Lord, make not far thy merciful doings from me; thy mercy and truth evermore take me up. (But thou, Lord, make not thy merciful doings to be far away from me; let thy love, and thy faithfulness, keep me safe forevermore.)

¹² For why evils, of which is no number, (en)compassed me; my wickednesses have taken me, and I might not, that I should (even) see. Those be multiplied above the hairs of mine head; and mine heart forsook me. (For evils, of which there is no number, surrounded me; my wickednesses have taken hold of me, and I can no longer see. Yea, they be multiplied far above the hairs of my head; and my heart hath deserted me.)

¹³ Lord, please it to thee, that thou deliver me; Lord, behold thou to help me. (Lord, may it please thee to save me; Lord, look thou to help me.)

¹⁴ Be they shamed, and ashamed together; that seek my life, to take away it. Be they turned aback, and be they shamed/and be they ashamed; that will evils to me. (Be they shamed, and ashamed; all who seek to take my life. Be they turned back, and be shamed or and be ashamed; all who desire evil for me.)

¹⁵ Bear they their confusion anon; that say to me, Well! well! in scorn. (Bear they their own shame at once or Be they ashamed at once; who (scornfully) say to me, Well! well!)

¹⁰ Thy righteousness I have not concealed In the midst of my heart, Thy faithfulness and Thy salvation I have told, I have not hidden Thy kindness and Thy truth, To the great assembly.

¹¹ Thou, O Jehovah, restrainest not Thy mercies from me, Thy kindness and Thy truth do continually keep me.

¹² For compassed me have evils innumerable, Overtaken me have mine iniquities, And I have not been able to see; They have been more than the hairs of my head, And my heart hath forsaken me.

¹³ Be pleased, O Jehovah, to deliver me, O Jehovah, for my help make haste.

¹⁴ They are ashamed and confounded together, Who are seeking my soul to destroy it, They are turned backward, And are ashamed, who are desiring my evil.

¹⁵ They are desolate because of their shame, Who are saying to me, 'Aha, aha.'

¹⁶ All seeking Thee rejoice and are glad in Thee, Those loving Thy salvation say continually, 'Jehovah is magnified.'

¹⁷ And I am poor and needy, The Lord doth devise for me. My help and my deliverer art Thou, O my God, tarry Thou not.
