³³ Jehovah will not leave him in his hand, Nor condemn him when he is judged.

³⁴ Wait for Jehovah, and keep his way, And he will exalt thee to inherit the land: When the wicked are cut off, thou shalt see it.

³⁵ I have seen the wicked in great power, And spreading himself like a green tree in its native soil.

³⁶ But one passed by, and, lo, he was not: Yea, I sought him, but he could not be found.

³⁷ Mark the perfect man, and behold the upright; For there is a happy end to the man of peace.

³³ The LORD will not leave him in his hand, nor condemn him when he is judged.

³⁴ Wait on the LORD, and keep his way, and he shall exalt thee to inherit the land: when the wicked are cut off, thou shalt see it.

³⁵ I have seen the wicked in great power, and spreading himself like a green bay tree.

³⁶ Yet he passed away, and, lo, he was not: yea, I sought him, but he could not be found.

³³ But Yahweh will not abandon righteous people, and allow ◄them to fall into their enemies' hands/their enemies harm them►. And he will not allow righteous people to be condemned when someone takes them to a judge to be put on trial.

³⁴ Be patient and trust that Yahweh will help you, and ◄walk on his paths/do what he wants you to do►. If you do that, he will honor you by giving you the land that he promised, and when he gets rid of the wicked, you will see it happen.

³⁵ I have seen that wicked people who ◄act like tyrants/terrify people► sometimes prosper, like trees that grow well in fertile soil,

³⁶ when I looked later, they were gone! I searched for them, but Yahweh had caused them to disappear.

³⁷ Notice the people who have not done evil things, those who act righteously: their descendants will have peace in their inner beings.

³³ Yahweh will not leave him in his hand, nor condemn him when he is judged.

³⁴ Wait for Yahweh, and keep his way, and he will exalt you to inherit the land. When the wicked are cut off, you shall see it.

³⁶ But he came to an end, and there was no sign of him; I made a search for him and he was not there.

³⁷ Give attention to the good man, and take note of the upright; because the end of that man is peace.

³⁴ Wait for Jehovah, and keep his way, and he will exalt thee to possess the land: when the wicked are cut off, thou shalt see it.

³⁵ I have seen the wicked in great power, and spreading like a green tree in its native soil:

³⁶ but he passed away, and behold, he was not; and I sought him, but he was not found.

³⁷ Mark the perfect, and behold the upright, for the end of that man is peace;

³³ But the Lord will not let them fall into the hands of the wicked, and he will not let those who do good be condemned when they are put on trial.

³⁴ Trust in the Lord, and stay on his path. He will lift you up and give you the land to own. You will see when the wicked are destroyed.

³⁵ I have watched the wicked acting brutally, spreading like a large tree in its native land.

³⁶ But when I passed that way the next time, they were gone. I searched for them but couldn't find them.

³⁷ Observe the innocent, look at those who do right! Those who love peace have a future!

³³ But the Lord wil not leaue him in his hand, nor condemne him, when he is iudged.

³⁴ Waite thou on the Lord, and keepe his way, and he shall exalt thee, that thou shalt inherite the lande: when the wicked men shall perish, thou shalt see.

³⁵ I haue seene the wicked strong, and spreading himselfe like a greene bay tree.

³⁶ Yet he passed away, and loe, he was gone, and I sought him, but he could not be founde.

³⁷ Marke the vpright man, and beholde the iust: for the end of that man is peace.

³³ The LORD will not leave him in his hand, nor suffer him to be condemned when he is judged.

³⁴ Wait for the LORD, and keep His way, and He will exalt thee to inherit the land; when the wicked are cut off, thou shalt see it.

³⁵ I have seen a wicked man in great power, And spreading himself like a green cedar;

³⁶ But he passed away, and, lo! he was no more; Yea, I sought him, but he was not found.

³⁷ Mark the righteous man, and behold the upright, That posterity is to the man of peace!

³³ But the Lord leaves them not in their hand: at their trial they will not be held guilty.

³⁴ Wait on the Lord, and observe his way: he will lift you to honour the land will be yours, you will feast your eyes on the doom of the wicked.

³⁵ I have seen the wicked exultant, lifting themselves like a cedar of Lebanon.

³⁶ But the moment I passed, they vanished! I sought for them, but they could not be found.

³⁷ Preserve your honour and practise uprightness, for such a person fares well in the end.

³³ But the Lord leaves them not in their hand: at their trial they will not be held guilty.

³⁴ Wait on the Lord, and observe his way: he will lift you to honor the land will be yours, you will feast your eyes on the doom of the wicked.

³⁵ I have seen the wicked exultant, lifting themselves like a cedar of Lebanon.

³⁶ But the moment I passed, they vanished! I sought for them, but they could not be found.

³⁷ Preserve your honor and practise uprightness, for such a person fares well in the end.

³³ Adonai will not leave him in his hand, nor condemn him when he is judged.

³⁴ Wait for Adonai , and keep his way, and he will exalt you to inherit the land. When the wicked are cut off, you shall see it.

³⁶ But he passed away, and behold, he was not. Yes, I sought him, but he could not be found.

³⁷ Mark the perfect man, and see the upright, for there is a future for the man of peace.

³⁵ I saw the wicked man enhanced above; and raised up as the cedars of Lebanon. (Once I saw a wicked man exalted; yea, raised up as high as the cedars in Lebanon.)

³⁶ And I passed (or And then I passed by later), and lo! he was not (there); I sought him, and his place was not found.

³⁷ Keep thou innocence, and see equity; for those be relics to a peaceable man. (Mark thou the innocent, and look upon the righteous; for they be the progeny of peaceful people.)

³⁴ Look unto Jehovah, and keep His way, And He doth exalt thee to possess the land, In the wicked being cut off — thou seest!

³⁶ And he passeth away, and lo, he is not, And I seek him, and he is not found!
