²² For such as are blessed of him shall inherit the land; And they that are cursed of him shall be cut off.

²³ A man’s goings are established of Jehovah; And he delighteth in his way.

²⁴ Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down; For Jehovah upholdeth him with his hand.

²⁵ I have been young, and now am old; Yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, Nor his seed begging bread.

²⁶ All the day long he dealeth graciously, and lendeth; And his seed is blessed.

²⁷ Depart from evil, and do good; And dwell for evermore.

²⁸ For Jehovah loveth justice, And forsaketh not his saints; They are preserved for ever: But the seed of the wicked shall be cut off.

²⁹ The righteous shall inherit the land, And dwell therein for ever.

³⁰ The mouth of the righteous talketh of wisdom, And his tongue speaketh justice.

³¹ The law of his God is in his heart; None of his steps shall slide.

³² The wicked watcheth the righteous, And seeketh to slay him.

³³ Jehovah will not leave him in his hand, Nor condemn him when he is judged.

²² Those whom Yahweh has blessed will live safely in the land that he has given to them, but he will get rid of those people whom he has cursed.

²³ Yahweh protects those who do what is pleasing to him, and he will enable them to walk confidently, wherever they go;

²⁴ even if they stumble, they will not fall down, because Yahweh holds them by his hand.

²⁵ I was young previously, and now I am an old man, but in all those years, I have never seen righteous/godly people being abandoned by Yahweh, nor have I seen that their children needed to beg for food.

²⁶ Righteous/Godly people are generous, and happily lend money to others, and their children are a blessing to them.

²⁷ Turn away from doing evil, and do what is good. If you do that, you and your descendants will live in your land forever.

²⁸ That will happen because Yahweh likes to see people doing what is just, and he will never forsake righteous/godly people. He will protect them forever; but he will get rid of the children of wicked people.

²⁹ Righteous/Godly people will own the land that Yahweh promised to give to them, and they will live there forever.

³⁰ Righteous people give wise advice to others, and they MTY say what is just/fair.

³¹ They continually think about God's laws; they do not stray from God's path.

³² Those who are evil wait in ambush for righteous people in order to kill them as they walk by.

³³ But Yahweh will not abandon righteous people, and allow ◄them to fall into their enemies' hands/their enemies harm them►. And he will not allow righteous people to be condemned when someone takes them to a judge to be put on trial.

³⁴ Be patient and trust that Yahweh will help you, and ◄walk on his paths/do what he wants you to do►. If you do that, he will honor you by giving you the land that he promised, and when he gets rid of the wicked, you will see it happen.

³⁵ I have seen that wicked people who ◄act like tyrants/terrify people► sometimes prosper, like trees that grow well in fertile soil,

²⁷ Be turned from evil, and do good; and your place will be for ever.

²⁸ For the Lord is a lover of righteousness, and takes care of his saints; they will be kept safe for ever; but the seed of the evil-doers will be cut off.

²⁹ The upright will have the earth for their heritage, and will go on living there for ever.

³⁰ The mouth of the good man says words of wisdom; the talk of his tongue is of righteousness.

³¹ The law of his God is in his heart; he will never make a false step.

³² The sinners are watching the upright man, desiring to put him to death.

³³ The Lord will not give him into their hands, or be against him when he is judged.

³⁴ Be waiting for the Lord, and keep his way; and you will be lifted up, and have the land for your heritage: when the evil-doers are cut off, you will see it.

³⁵ I have seen the evil-doer in great power, covering the earth like a great tree.

³³ Jehovah will not leave him in his hand, nor condemn him when he is judged.

²² Those who are blessed by God will own the land, but those he curses will die.

²³ The Lord shows the right path to those who follow him, and is happy with the way they live.

²⁴ Though they may trip up, they will not fall to the ground, for the Lord holds their hand.

²⁵ Once I was young, and now I've grown old, yet I've never seen those who do right abandoned, nor their children having to beg for bread.

²⁶ They are always kind, and generous with their loans; their children are a blessing.

²⁷ Reject evil, do what is good, and you will live forever in the land.

²⁸ For the Lord loves fairness and he will never abandon those who are trustworthy. He will protect them forever. But the children of the wicked will die.

²⁹ Those who do right will own the land and will live there forever.

³⁰ People who do right give good advice, explaining what is fair.

³¹ God's law lives in their minds, so they will not slip from his way.

³² The wicked lie in wait for those who do good, intending to kill them.

³³ But the Lord will not let them fall into the hands of the wicked, and he will not let those who do good be condemned when they are put on trial.

³⁴ Trust in the Lord, and stay on his path. He will lift you up and give you the land to own. You will see when the wicked are destroyed.

³⁵ I have watched the wicked acting brutally, spreading like a large tree in its native land.

²² For such as be blessed of God, shall inherite the lande, and they that be cursed of him, shalbe cut off.

²³ The pathes of man are directed by the Lord: for he loueth his way.

²⁴ Though he fall, hee shall not be cast off: for the Lord putteth vnder his hand.

²⁵ I haue beene yong, and am olde: yet I sawe neuer the righteous forsaken, nor his seede begging bread.

²⁶ But hee is euer mercifull and lendeth, and his seede enioyeth the blessing.

²⁷ Flee from euill and doe good, and dwell for euer.

³⁵ I have seen a wicked man in great power, And spreading himself like a green cedar;

²² For those blest by the Lord inherit the land, while those whom he curses will be cut off.

²³ The Lord supports the steps of those with whom he is pleased.

²⁴ Though they fall, they will not be cast headlong, for the Lord holds their hands.

²⁵ Never, from youth to age, have I seen the righteous forsaken, or their children begging bread.

²⁶ They are ever lavishly lending, and their children are fountains of blessing.

²⁷ Turn away from evil and do good and you will live in the land forever.

²⁸ For the Lord loves justice, he does not forsake his friends. The unrighteous will be destroyed forever, and the seed of the wicked will be cut off.

²⁹ But the land will belong to the righteous, they will live upon it forever,

³⁰ The mouth of the righteous murmurs wisdom, and words of justice are on their tongues.

³¹ The law of their God is in their heart, their steps are never unsteady.

³² The wicked watches the righteous, and seeks to put them to death.

³³ But the Lord leaves them not in their hand: at their trial they will not be held guilty.

³⁴ Wait on the Lord, and observe his way: he will lift you to honour the land will be yours, you will feast your eyes on the doom of the wicked.

³⁵ I have seen the wicked exultant, lifting themselves like a cedar of Lebanon.

²² For those blest by the Lord inherit the land, while those whom he curses will be cut off.

²³ The Lord supports the steps of those with whom he is pleased.

²³ A man’s steps are established by Yahweh. He delights in his way.

³² A sinner beholdeth a just or right-wise man; and seeketh to slay him.

³³ But the Lord shall not forsake him in his hands; neither he shall condemn him, when it shall be deemed against him.

³⁴ Abide thou the Lord, and keep thou his way, and he shall enhance thee, that by heritage thou take the land; when sinners shall perish, thou shalt see.

³⁵ I saw the wicked man enhanced above; and raised up as the cedars of Lebanon.

²³ The going(s) of a man shall be (ad)dressed with the Lord; and he shall delight in his way. (The goings of a man be directed by the Lord; and he guardeth him on his way.)

²⁸ For the Lord loveth doom, and shall not forsake his saints; they shall be kept into without end. Unjust men shall be punished; and the seed of wicked men shall perish. (For the Lord loveth justice, and shall not forsake his saints; they shall be kept safe forever. The unjust, or the unrighteous, shall be punished; and the descendants of the wicked shall perish.)

²⁹ But just men shall inherit the land; and shall inhabit thereon into the world of world. (But the righteous shall inherit the land; and shall inhabit it forever.)

³⁰ The mouth of a just man shall bethink wisdom; and his tongue shall speak doom. (The righteous person speaketh wisdom; yea, his tongue shall speak of justice, or fairness.)

³¹ The law of his God is in his heart; and his steps shall not be deceived. (The Law of God is in his heart; and his steps shall not slip or and his feet shall not stumble.)

²⁹ The righteous possess the land, And they dwell for ever on it.

³⁰ The mouth of the righteous uttereth wisdom, And his tongue speaketh judgment.

³¹ The law of his God is his heart, His steps do not slide.

³² The wicked is watching for the righteous, And is seeking to put him to death.

³³ Jehovah doth not leave him in his hand, Nor condemn him in his being judged.

³⁴ Look unto Jehovah, and keep His way, And He doth exalt thee to possess the land, In the wicked being cut off — thou seest!
