¹ A Psalm of David. Fret not thyself because of evil-doers, Neither be thou envious against them that work unrighteousness.

² For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, And wither as the green herb.

³ Trust in Jehovah, and do good; Dwell in the land, and feed on his faithfulness.

⁴ Delight thyself also in Jehovah; And he will give thee the desires of thy heart.

⁵ Commit thy way unto Jehovah; Trust also in him, and he will bring it to pass.

⁶ And he will make thy righteousness to go forth as the light, And thy justice as the noonday.

⁷ Rest in Jehovah, and wait patiently for him: Fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, Because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.

² O Lord, rebuke me not in thy wrath, neither chasten me in thine anger.

³ For thy weapons are fixed in me, and thou hast pressed thy hand heavily upon me.

⁴ For there is no health in my flesh because of thine anger; there is no peace to my bones because of my sins.

⁵ For my transgressions have gone over mine head: they have pressed heavily upon me like a weighty burden.

⁶ My bruises have become noisome and corrupt, because of my foolishness.

⁷ I have been wretched and bowed down continually: I went with a mourning countenance all the day.

¹ Do not be bothered/upset by what wicked people do. Do not desire to have the things that people who do wrong/evil have,

² because they will soon disappear, like grass withers in the hot sun and dries up. Just like some green plants come up but die during the hot summer, evil people will soon die also.

³ Trust in Yahweh, and do what is good; if you do that, you will live safely in the land that he has given you, and you will live peacefully MET.

⁴ Be delighted with all that Yahweh does for you; if you do that, he will give you the things that you desire most.

⁵ Commit to Yahweh all the things that you plan to do; trust in him, and he will do whatever is needed to help you.

⁶ He will show as clearly as the sunlight that you ◄are innocent/have done nothing that is wrong►; he will show as clearly as the sun at noontime SIM that all the things that you have decided are just.

⁷ Be quiet in Yahweh's presence, and wait patiently for him to do what you want him to do. Do not be bothered/upset when what evil men do is successful, when they are able to do the wicked things that they plan.

⁴ So will your delight be in the Lord, and he will give you your heart's desires.

⁵ Put your life in the hands of the Lord; have faith in him and he will do it.

⁶ And he will make your righteousness be seen like the light, and your cause like the shining of the sun.

⁷ Take your rest in the Lord, waiting quietly for him; do not be angry because of the man who does well in his evil ways, and gives effect to his bad designs.

⁶ and he will bring forth thy righteousness as the light, and thy judgment as the noonday.

⁷ Rest in Jehovah, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him that prospereth in his way, because of the man that bringeth mischievous devices to pass.

² Rebuke me not, O Lord, in thy indignation; nor chastise me in thy wrath.

³ For thy arrows are fastened in me: and thy hand hath been strong upon me.

⁴ There is no health in my flesh, because of thy wrath: there is no peace for my bones, because of my sins.

⁵ For my iniquities are gone over my head: and as a heavy burden are become heavy upon me.

⁶ My sores are putrified and corrupted, because of my foolishness.

⁷ I am become miserable, and am bowed down even to the end: I walked sorrowful all the day long.

¹ A psalm of David. Don't be upset over wicked people, or be jealous of those who do wrong.

² For like grass, they will quickly dry up; like plants, they will soon wither away.

³ Trust in the Lord, and do good. Live in the land and feed on faithfulness.

⁴ Find your happiness in the Lord, and he will give you what you want the most.

⁵ Entrust all that you do to the Lord. Place your confidence in him and he will help you.

⁶ He will make your vindication shine like a light, the rightness of your cause like the noonday sun.

⁷ Be still in God's presence; wait patiently for him. Don't be upset over people who prosper when they carry out their evil schemes.

² For they shall soone bee cut downe like grasse, and shall wither as the greene herbe.

³ Trust thou in the Lord and do good: dwell in the land, and thou shalt be fed assuredly.

⁴ And delite thy selfe in the Lord, and hee shall giue thee thine hearts desire.

⁵ Commit thy way vnto the Lord, and trust in him, and he shall bring it to passe.

⁶ And he shall bring foorth thy righteousnes as the light, and thy iudgement as the noone day.

⁷ Waite patiently vpon the Lord and hope in him: fret not thy selfe for him which prospereth in his way: nor for the man that bringeth his enterprises to passe.

⁷ Resign thyself unto the LORD, and wait patiently for Him; fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.

⁷ Be silent before the Lord, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who practices wicked devices.

⁷ Hope thou patiently on the LORD, And in him place thy trust! Be not angry on account of the prosperous,—On account of him that deviseth deceit!

² for, like grass, they will speedily wither, and fade like the green of young grass.

² For they will soon dry up as the grass and wither as the green plants.

³ Trust in Yahweh and do what is good; settle in the land and graze in faithfulness.

⁴ Then delight yourself in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart.

⁵ Give your ways to Yahweh; trust in him, and he will act on your behalf.

⁶ He will display your justice like the daylight and your innocence like the day at noon.

⁷ Be still before Yahweh and wait patiently for him. Do not be angry if someone succeeds in what he does, or when he makes evil plots.

² For they shall wax dry swiftly as hay; and they shall fall down soon as the worts of herbs.

³ Hope thou in the Lord, and do thou goodness; and inhabit thou the land, and thou shalt be fed with his riches.

⁴ Delight thou in the Lord; and he shall give to thee the askings of thine heart.

⁵ Show thy way to the Lord; and hope in him, and he shall do.

⁶ And he shall lead out thy rightfulness or rightwiseness as light, and thy doom as midday;

⁷ be thou subject to the Lord, and pray thou him. Do not thou pursue or follow him, that hath prosperity in his way; nor a man doing unright-fulness.

² For they shall wax dry swiftly as hay; and they shall fall down soon as the worts of herbs. (For they shall quickly grow dry like the hay, or the grass; and soon they shall fall down like the best herbs, or the plants.)

³ Hope thou in the Lord, and do thou goodness, (or Trust thou in the Lord, and do good); and inhabit thou the land, and thou shalt be fed with his riches.

⁴ Delight thou in the Lord; and he shall give to thee the askings of thine heart.

⁵ Show thy way to the Lord; and hope in him, and he shall do. (Give all thy ways to the Lord, and trust in him; and he shall make it happen.)

⁶ And he shall lead out thy rightfulness as light, and thy doom as midday; (And he shall lead forth thy righteousness like the light, and thy judgement like the midday sun;)

⁷ be thou subject to the Lord, and pray thou him. Do not thou follow him, that hath prosperity in his way; (nor) a man doing unrightfulness. (be thou subject to the Lord, and wait thou for him. Do not thou follow a man, simply because he hath prospered along his way; nor a man doing unrighteousness, or wickedness.)

¹ By David. Do not fret because of evil doers, Be not envious against doers of iniquity,

² For as grass speedily they are cut off, And as the greenness of the tender grass do fade.

³ Trust in Jehovah, and do good, Dwell in the land, and enjoy faithfulness,

⁴ And delight thyself on Jehovah, And He giveth to thee the petitions of thy heart.

⁵ Roll on Jehovah thy way, And trust upon Him, and He worketh,

⁶ And hath brought out as light thy righteousness, And thy judgment as noon-day.

⁷ Be silent for Jehovah, and stay thyself for Him, Do not fret because of him Who is making prosperous his way, Because of a man doing wicked devices.
