¹ A Psalm of David. Ascribe unto Jehovah, O ye sons of the mighty, Ascribe unto Jehovah glory and strength.

² Ascribe unto Jehovah the glory due unto his name; Worship Jehovah in holy array.

³ The voice of Jehovah is upon the waters: The God of glory thundereth, Even Jehovah upon many waters.

⁴ The voice of Jehovah is powerful; The voice of Jehovah is full of majesty.

⁵ The voice of Jehovah breaketh the cedars; Yea, Jehovah breaketh in pieces the cedars of Lebanon.

⁶ He maketh them also to skip like a calf; Lebanon and Sirion like a young wild-ox.

⁷ The voice of Jehovah cleaveth the flames of fire.

⁸ The voice of Jehovah shaketh the wilderness; Jehovah shaketh the wilderness of Kadesh.

⁹ The voice of Jehovah maketh the hinds to calve, And strippeth the forests bare: And in his temple everything saith, Glory.

² I will exalt thee, O Lord; for thou hast lifted me up, and not caused mine enemies to rejoice over me.

³ O Lord my God, I cried to thee, and thou didst heal me.

⁴ O Lord, thou hast brought up my soul from Hades, thou hast delivered me from among them that go down to the pit.

⁵ Sing to the Lord, ye his saints, and give thanks for the remembrance of his holiness.

⁶ For anger is in his wrath, but life in his favour: weeping shall tarry for the evening, but joy shall be in the morning.

⁷ And I said in my prosperity, I shall never be moved.

⁸ O Lord, in thy good pleasure thou didst add strength to my beauty: but thou didst turn away thy face, and I was troubled.

⁹ To thee, O Lord, will I cry; and to my God will I make supplication.

¹ You angels in heaven, praise Yahweh! Praise him because he is very glorious and powerful.

² Proclaim that ◄he/his name► is glorious; bow down before Yahweh in his holy temple.

³ Yahweh's voice is heard above the oceans; tYahweh, the glorious God, thunders. His voice thunders over the huge oceans DOU.

⁴ His voice is powerful and majestic.

⁵ The sound of Yahweh's voice breaks great cedar trees, the cedars that grow in Lebanon.

⁶ He causes the mountains in Lebanon to jump like calves jump, and causes Hermon Mountain to jump like a young bull jumps.

⁷ Yahweh's voice causes lightning to flash.

⁸ His voice causes the desert to shake; he shakes Kadesh Desert in the southern part of Judah.

⁹ Yahweh's voice shakes the huge oak trees and strips the leaves from the trees while the people in the temple shout, “Praise God!”

² Give to the Lord the full glory of his name; give him worship in holy robes.

³ The voice of the Lord is on the waters: the God of glory is thundering, the Lord is on the great waters.

⁴ The voice of the Lord is full of power; the voice of the Lord has a noble sound.

⁵ By the voice of the Lord are the cedar-trees broken, even the cedars of Lebanon are broken by the Lord.

⁶ He makes them go jumping about like a young ox; Lebanon and Sirion like a young mountain ox.

⁷ At the voice of the Lord flames of fire are seen.

⁸ At the voice of the Lord there is a shaking in the waste land, even a shaking in the waste land of Kadesh.

⁹ At the voice of the Lord the roes give birth, the leaves are taken from the trees: in his Temple everything says, Glory.

³ The voice of Jehovah is upon the waters: the God of glory thundereth, — Jehovah upon great waters.

⁴ The voice of Jehovah is powerful; the voice of Jehovah is full of majesty.

⁵ The voice of Jehovah breaketh cedars; yea, Jehovah breaketh the cedars of Lebanon:

⁶ And he maketh them to skip like a calf, Lebanon and Sirion like a young buffalo.

⁷ The voice of Jehovah cleaveth out flames of fire.

⁸ The voice of Jehovah shaketh the wilderness; Jehovah shaketh the wilderness of Kadesh.

⁹ The voice of Jehovah maketh the hinds to calve, and layeth bare the forests; and in his temple doth every one say, Glory!

¹ A psalm of a canticle, at the dedication of David’s house.

² I will extol thee, O Lord, for thou hast upheld me: and hast not made my enemies to rejoice over me.

³ O Lord my God, I have cried to thee, and then hast healed me.

⁴ Thou hast brought forth, O Lord, my soul from hell: thou hast saved me from them that go down into the pit.

⁵ Sing to the Lord, O ye his saints: and give praise to the memory of his holiness.

⁶ For wrath is in his indignation; and life in his good will. In the evening weeping shall have place, and in the morning gladness.

⁷ And in my abundance I said: I shall never be moved.

⁸ O Lord, in thy favour, thou gavest strength to my beauty. Thou turnedst away thy face from me, and I became troubled.

⁹ To thee, O Lord, will I cry: and I will make supplication to my God.

¹ A psalm of David. Honor the Lord, children of God, honor his glory and strength.

² Honor the Lord for his glorious character, bow in reverence to the Lord in his brilliant holiness.

³ The Lord's voice sounds over the sea. The God of glory thunders. The Lord thunders over the vast ocean.

⁴ The Lord's voice is powerful; the Lord's voice is majestic;

⁵ the Lord's voice shatters the cedars, even breaking the cedars of Lebanon.

⁶ He makes the mountains of Lebanon skip like a calf, and Mount Hermon like a young wild ox.

⁷ The Lord's voice blazes out like lightning flashes.

⁸ The Lord's voice causes an earthquake in the desert; the desert of Kadesh shakes.

⁹ The Lord's voice makes the pregnant deer go into labor; it strips bare the forests. In his Temple all the worshipers shout, “Glory!”

³ The voyce of the Lord is vpon the waters: the God of glorie maketh it to thunder: the Lord is vpon the great waters.

⁴ The voyce of the Lord is mightie: the voyce of the Lord is glorious.

⁵ The voyce of the Lord breaketh the cedars: yea, the Lord breaketh the cedars of Lebanon.

⁶ He maketh them also to leape like a calfe: Lebanon also and Shirion like a yong vnicorne.

⁷ The voice of the Lord deuideth the flames of sire.

⁸ The voice of the Lord maketh the wildernes to tremble: the Lord maketh the wildernes of Kadesh to tremble.

⁹ The voice of the Lord maketh the hindes to calue, and discouereth the forests: therefore in his Temple doth euery man speake of his glory.

⁴ The LORD’s voice is powerful. The LORD’s voice is full of majesty.

⁵ The LORD’s voice breaks the cedars. Yes, the LORD breaks in pieces the cedars of Lebanon.

⁶ He makes them also to skip like a calf; Lebanon and Sirion like a young, wild ox.

⁷ The LORD’s voice strikes with flashes of lightning.

⁸ The LORD’s voice shakes the wilderness. The LORD shakes the wilderness of Kadesh.

⁹ The LORD’s voice makes the deer calve, and strips the forests bare. In his temple everything says, “Glory!”

¹ The psalm of David. Ye sons of God, bring to the Lord; bring ye to the Lord, the sons of rams. Bring ye to the Lord glory and honour;

² bring ye to the Lord glory to his name; praise ye the Lord in his holy large place.

³ The voice of the Lord on waters, God of majesty thundered; the Lord on many waters.

⁴ The voice of the Lord in virtue; the voice of the Lord in great doing.

⁵ The voice of the Lord breaking cedars; and the Lord shall break the cedars of Lebanon.

⁶ And he shall all-break them to dust, as a calf of the Lebanon; and the darling was as the son of an unicorn.

⁷ The voice of the Lord parting the flames of fire;

⁸ the voice of the Lord shaking desert; and the Lord shall stir altogether the desert of Kadesh.

⁹ The voice of the Lord making ready harts to calve, and he shall show thick things; and in his temple all men shall say glory.

³ The voice of the Lord on waters, God of majesty thundered; the Lord on many waters. (The voice of the Lord is heard upon the waters, the God of glory thundered or the majestic God thundered; the Lord is heard upon the many waters.)

⁴ The voice of the Lord in virtue; the voice of the Lord in great doing. (The voice of the Lord is strong; the majestic voice of the Lord.)

⁵ The voice of the Lord breaking cedars; and the Lord shall break the cedars of Lebanon. (The voice of the Lord breaketh the cedars; yea, the Lord breaketh the cedars of Lebanon.)

⁶ And he shall all-break them to dust, as a calf of the Lebanon; and the darling was as the son of an unicorn. (And he maketh Lebanon to jump like a calf; and Sirion to leap like a young wild ox.)

⁷ The voice of the Lord parting the flame(s) of fire; (The voice of the Lord sendeth out flashes of lightning;)

⁸ the voice of the Lord shaking desert; and the Lord shall stir (al)together the desert of Kadesh. (the voice of the Lord shaketh the wilderness; yea, the Lord shaketh the wilderness of Kadesh.)

⁹ The voice of the Lord making ready harts (to calve), and he shall show thick things; and in his temple all men shall say glory. (The voice of the Lord maketh the harts to calve, and bringeth the goat kids early to their birth; and in his Temple everyone shall shout, Glory!)

⁶ And He causeth them to skip as a calf, Lebanon and Sirion as a son of Reems,

⁷ The voice of Jehovah is hewing fiery flames,

⁸ The voice of Jehovah paineth a wilderness, Jehovah paineth the wilderness of Kadesh.

⁹ The voice of Jehovah paineth the oaks, And maketh bare the forests, And in His temple every one saith, 'Glory.'
