¹ A Psalm of David. Unto thee, O Jehovah, will I call: My rock, be not thou deaf unto me; Lest, if thou be silent unto me, I become like them that go down into the pit.

² Hear the voice of my supplications, when I cry unto thee, When I lift up my hands toward thy holy oracle.

³ Draw me not away with the wicked, And with the workers of iniquity; That speak peace with their neighbors, But mischief is in their hearts.

⁴ Give them according to their work, and according to the wickedness of their doings: Give them after the operation of their hands; Render to them their desert.

⁵ Because they regard not the works of Jehovah, Nor the operation of his hands, He will break them down and not build them up.

⁶ Blessed be Jehovah, Because he hath heard the voice of my supplications.

² Bring to the Lord glory, due to his name; worship the Lord in his holy court.

³ The voice of the Lord is upon the waters: the God of glory has thundered: the Lord is upon many waters.

⁴ The voice of the Lord is mighty; the voice of the Lord is full of majesty.

⁵ There is the voice of the Lord who breaks the cedars; the Lord will break the cedars of Libanus.

⁶ And he will beat them small, even Libanus itself, like a calf; and the beloved one is as a young unicorn.

¹ Yahweh, I call out to you; you are like an overhanging rock under which I can hide. Do not refuse to answer me, because if you are silent, I will soon be with those who are in their graves.

² Listen to me when I call out for you to help me, when I pray, lifting up my hands as I face your sacred temple.

³ Do not drag me away with wicked people, with those who do wicked deeds, with those who pretend to act peacefully toward others while in their inner beings, they hate them.

⁴ Punish those people in the way that they deserve for what they have done; punish them for their evil deeds DOU.

⁵ Yahweh, they do not pay attention to the wonderful things that you have done and that you have created; so get rid of them permanently and do not let them appear again!

⁶ Praise Yahweh because he has heard me when I called out for him to help me!

² Give ear to the voice of my prayer, when I am crying to you, when my hands are lifted up to your holy place.

³ Do not take me away with the sinners and the workers of evil, who say words of peace to their neighbours, but evil is in their hearts.

⁴ Give them the right reward of their acts, and of their evil doings: give them punishment for the works of their hands, let them have their full reward.

⁵ Because they have no respect for the works of the Lord, or for the things which his hands have made, they will be broken down and not lifted up by him.

⁶ May the Lord be praised, because he has given ear to the voice of my prayer.

³ Draw me not away with the wicked, and with the workers of iniquity, who speak peace to their neighbours, and mischief is in their heart.

⁴ Give them according to their doing, and according to the wickedness of their deeds; give them after the work of their hands, render to them their desert.

⁵ For they regard not the deeds of Jehovah, nor the work of his hands: he will destroy them, and not build them up.

⁶ Blessed be Jehovah, for he hath heard the voice of my supplications.

² Bring to the Lord glory and honour: bring to the Lord glory to his name: adore ye the Lord in his holy court.

³ The voice of the Lord is upon the waters; the God of majesty hath thundered, The Lord is upon many waters.

⁴ The voice of the Lord is in power; the voice of the Lord in magnificence.

⁵ The voice of the Lord breaketh the cedars: yea, the Lord shall break the cedars of Libanus.

⁶ And shall reduce them to pieces, as a calf of Libanus, and as the beloved son of unicorns.

¹ A psalm of David. Lord, my rock, I'm calling out to you. Please listen to me! For if you don't respond, I'll be like those who go down into the grave.

² Listen as I appeal for mercy, as I call for help, as I hold up my hands in prayer towards your holy Temple.

³ Don't drag me off with the wicked, with those who do evil, who speak nicely to their neighbors while in their minds they're plotting evil.

⁴ Give them what they deserve for their evil actions. Pay them back for what they've done. Give them the reward they've earned!

⁵ For they don't pay any attention to what the Lord does, or to what he created. So he will destroy them—they will never be restored.

⁶ Praise the Lord! For he has heard my appeal for mercy!

³ Drawe mee not away with the wicked, and with the woorkers of iniquitie: which speake friendly to their neighbours, when malice is in their hearts.

⁴ Reward them according to their deedes, and according to the wickednes of their inuentions: recompense them after the woorke of their handes: render them their reward.

⁵ For they regarde not the woorkes of the Lord, nor the operation of his handes: therefore breake them downe, and builde them not vp.

⁶ Praised be the Lord, for he hath heard the voyce of my petitions.

⁵ Because they give no heed to the works of the LORD, nor to the operation of His hands; He will break them down and not build them up.

⁴ Give unto them according to their doing, and according to the evil of their deeds; according to the work of their hands do thou give unto them: bestow their just recompense on them.

⁵ Because they have no regard for the doings of the Lord, nor the works of his hands: may he pull them down, and not build them up.

⁵ For they regard not the doings of the LORD, nor the work of his hands; Therefore will he destroy them, and not again build them up.

³ Do not drag me away with the wicked, those who do iniquity, who speak peace with their neighbors but have evil in their hearts.

⁴ Give them what their deeds deserve and repay them what their wickedness demands, repay them for the work of their hands and render to them their due.

⁵ Because they do not understand the deeds of Yahweh or the work of his hands, he will tear them down and never rebuild them.

³ Betake thou not me together with sinners; and lose thou not me with them that work wickedness. Which speak peace to their neighbours; but evils be in their hearts.

⁴ Give thou to them after the works of them; and after the wickedness of their findings. Give thou to them after the works of their hands; yield thou their yielding to them.

⁵ For they understood not the works of the Lord, and by the works of his hands thou shalt destroy them; and thou shalt not build them.

⁶ Blessed be the Lord; for he heard the voice of my beseeching.

³ Betake thou not me together with sinners; and lose thou not me with them that work wickedness. Which speak peace to their neighbour(s); but evils be in their hearts. (Take thou me not away with the sinners; and destroy thou me not with those who do evil. Yea, those who speak peacefully to their neighbours; but evil is in their hearts.)

⁴ Give thou to them after the works of them; and after the wickedness of their findings. Give thou to them after the works of their hands; yield thou their yielding to them. (Punish thou them according to their works; yea, according to the wickedness of their deeds. Punish thou them according to the works of their hands; give thou them their just reward.)

⁵ For they understood not the works of the Lord, and by the works of his hands thou shalt destroy them; and thou shalt not build them. (Because they do not respect the works of the Lord, or the works of his hands, he shall destroy them; and he shall not build them up again.)

⁵ For they attend not to the doing of Jehovah, And unto the work of His hands. He throweth them down, And doth not build them up.
