Psalms 26:9-12 in English

⁹ Gather not my soul with sinners, Nor my life with men of blood;

¹⁰ In whose hands is wickedness, And their right hand is full of bribes.

¹¹ But as for me, I will walk in mine integrity: Redeem me, and be merciful unto me.

¹² My foot standeth in an even place: In the congregations will I bless Jehovah.

⁹ Turn not thy face away from me, turn not thou away from thy servant in anger: be thou my helper, forsake me not; and, O God my Saviour, overlook me not.

¹⁰ For my father and my mother have forsaken me, but the Lord has taken me to himself.

¹¹ Teach me, O Lord, in thy way, and guide me in a right path, because of mine enemies.

¹² Deliver me not over to the desire of them that afflict me; for unjust witnesses have risen up against me, and injustice has lied within herself.

¹⁰ and people who SYN are ready to do wicked things and people who are always taking bribes.

¹¹ But as for me, I always try to do what is right. So be kind to me and rescue me.

¹² I stand in places where I am safe, and when all your people gather together, I praise you.

¹² I have a safe resting-place for my feet; I will give praise to the Lord in the meetings of the people.

⁹ Turn not away thy face from me; decline not in thy wrath from thy servant. Be thou my helper, forsake me not; do not thou despise me, O God my Saviour.

¹⁰ For my father and my mother have left me: but the Lord hath taken me up.

¹¹ Set me, O Lord, a law in thy way, and guide me in the right path, because of my enemies.

¹² Deliver me not over to the will of them that trouble me; for unjust witnesses have risen up against me; and iniquity hath lied to itself.

⁹ Please don't sweep me away along with sinners. Don't include me with those who commit murder,

¹⁰ whose hands carry out their evil schemes and grab hold of bribes.

¹¹ For I don't do that—I act with integrity. Save me and be gracious to me!

¹² I stand for what's right, and I will praise the Lord when we meet together to worship him.

¹¹ But I will walke in mine innocencie: redeeme me therefore, and be mercifull vnto me.

¹² My foote standeth in vprightnesse: I will praise thee, O Lord, in the Congregations.

¹⁰ In whose hands wickednesses be; the right hand of them is full-filled with gifts. (In whose hands be wickednesses; their right hands be filled full with bribes.)

¹¹ But I entered in mine innocence; again-buy thou me, and have mercy on me. (But I went forth in innocence; so redeem thou me, and have mercy on me.)

¹² My foot stood in rightfulness; Lord, I shall bless thee in churches. (Yea, my feet standeth on firm ground; Lord, I shall bless thee in the congregations.)

¹¹ And I, in mine integrity I walk, Redeem me, and favour me.
