² For he hath founded it upon the seas, And established it upon the floods.

³ Who shall ascend into the hill of Jehovah? And who shall stand in his holy place?

⁴ He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; Who hath not lifted up his soul unto falsehood, And hath not sworn deceitfully.

⁵ He shall receive a blessing from Jehovah, And righteousness from the God of his salvation.

⁶ This is the generation of them that seek after him, That seek thy face, even Jacob. Selah

⁷ Lift up your heads, O ye gates; And be ye lifted up, ye everlasting doors: And the King of glory will come in.

⁸ Who is the King of glory? Jehovah strong and mighty, Jehovah mighty in battle.

² O my God, I have trusted in thee: let me not be confounded, neither let mine enemies laugh me to scorn.

³ For none of them that wait on thee shall in any wise be ashamed: let them be ashamed that transgress without cause.

⁴ Shew me thy ways, O Lord; and teach me thy paths.

⁵ Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art God my Saviour: and I have waited on thee all the day.

⁶ Remember thy compassions, O Lord, and thy mercies, for they are from everlasting.

⁷ Remember not the sins of my youth, nor my sins of ignorance: remember me according to thy mercy, for thy goodness' sake, O Lord.

⁸ Good and upright is the Lord: therefore will he instruct sinners in the way.

² because he caused the ground to be above the water, above the water that was deep below the surface of the earth.

³ Who will be allowed to go up on Zion Hill in Jerusalem, in order to stand and worship in Yahweh's holy temple?

⁴ Only those whose actions MTY and thoughts are pure, who have not worshiped idols, and who do not tell lies when they have solemnly promised to tell the truth.

⁵ ◄They will be blessed by Yahweh/Yahweh will bless them►. When God judges them, he, who has saved them, will say that they ◄have done nothing wrong/are without fault►.

⁶ They are the ones who approach God, they are the ones who may worship God, the one we Israelis worship.

⁷ Open up APO the temple gates in order that our glorious king may enter!

⁸ Do you know who the glorious king is? He is Yahweh, the one who is very strong DOU; He is Yahweh, who conquers all his enemies in battles!

³ Who may go up into the hill of the Lord? and who may come into his holy place?

⁴ He who has clean hands and a true heart; whose desire has not gone out to foolish things, who has not taken a false oath.

⁵ He will have blessing from the Lord, and righteousness from the God of his salvation.

⁶ This is the generation of those whose hearts are turned to you, even to your face, O God of Jacob. (Selah.)

⁷ Let your heads be lifted up, O doors; be lifted up, O you eternal doors: that the King of glory may come in.

⁸ Who is the King of glory? The Lord of strength and power, the Lord strong in war.

⁴ He that hath blameless hands and a pure heart; who lifteth not up his soul unto vanity, nor sweareth deceitfully:

⁵ He shall receive blessing from Jehovah, and righteousness from the God of his salvation.

⁶ This is the generation of them that seek unto him, that seek thy face, O Jacob. Selah.

² In thee, O my God, I put my trust; let me not be ashamed.

³ Neither let my enemies laugh at me: for none of them that wait on thee shall be confounded.

⁴ Let all them be confounded that act unjust things without cause. Shew, O Lord, thy ways to me, and teach me thy paths.

⁵ Direct me in thy truth, and teach me; for thou art God my Saviour; and on thee have I waited all the day long.

⁶ Remember, O Lord, thy bowels of compassion; and thy mercies that are from the beginning of the world.

⁷ The sins of my youth and my ignorances do not remember. According to thy mercy remember thou me: for thy goodness’ sake, O Lord.

⁸ The Lord is sweet and righteous: therefore he will give a law to sinners in the way.

² For he is the one who laid its foundations on the seas, setting it in place on the waters.

³ Who is allowed to go up the Lord's mountain? Who is permitted to stand in his holy place?

⁴ Those who have clean hands and pure minds, who don't worship idols, and who don't lie under oath.

⁵ They will take with them the blessing of the Lord, vindicated by the God who saves them.

⁶ These are the kind of people who may go to the Lord and worship before you, God of Jacob. Selah.

⁷ Open up, you gates! Swing wide, you ancient doors! Let the King of glory come in!

⁸ Who is this King of glory? The Lord, strong and powerful, mighty in battle.

² For he hath founded it vpon the seas: and established it vpon the floods.

³ Who shall ascende into the mountaine of the Lord? and who shall stand in his holy place?

⁴ Euen he that hath innocent handes, and a pure heart: which hath not lift vp his minde vnto vanitie, nor sworne deceitfully.

⁵ He shall receiue a blessing from the Lord, and righteousnesse from the God of his saluation.

⁶ This is the generation of them that seeke him, of them that seeke thy face, this is Iaakob. Selah.

⁷ Lift vp your heads ye gates, and be ye lift vp ye euerlasting doores, and the King of glory shall come in.

⁸ Who is this King of glorie? the Lord, strong and mightie, euen the Lord mightie in battell.

⁸ Who is this King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle.

⁴ The clean of hands, the pure of heart, who sets not their heart upon sinful things, nor swears with intent to deceive:

⁵ they win from the Lord a blessing: God is their champion and saviour.

⁶ Such must be those who resort to him, and seek the face of the God of Jacob. Selah

⁴ The innocent in hands, that is, in works, and in clean heart; which took not his soul in vain, neither swore in guile to his neighbour. (Those with innocent hands, or works, and with clean, or pure, hearts; they who took not their souls unto idols, nor swore falsely to their neighbours.)

⁵ He shall take blessing of the Lord; and mercy of God his health. (They shall receive a blessing from the Lord; mercy from the God of their salvation, or of their deliverance.)

⁶ This is the generation of men seeking him; of men seeking the face of God of Jacob. (This is the generation of people seeking him; of people seeking the face of the God of Jacob.)

⁷ Ye princes, take up your gates, and ye everlasting gates, be ye raised; and the king of glory shall enter. (Lift up your heads, ye gates, yea, ye everlasting gates, be ye raised up; and the King of glory shall enter in.)

⁴ The clean of hands, and pure of heart, Who hath not lifted up to vanity his soul, Nor hath sworn to deceit.

⁵ He beareth away a blessing from Jehovah, Righteousness from the God of his salvation.

⁶ This is a generation of those seeking Him. Seeking Thy face, O Jacob! Selah.
