⁵ His glory is great in thy salvation: Honor and majesty dost thou lay upon him.

⁶ For thou makest him most blessed for ever: Thou makest him glad with joy in thy presence.

⁷ For the king trusteth in Jehovah; And through the lovingkindness of the Most High he shall not be moved.

⁸ Thy hand will find out all thine enemies; Thy right hand will find out those that hate thee.

⁹ Thou wilt make them as a fiery furnace in the time of thine anger: Jehovah will swallow them up in his wrath, And the fire shall devour them.

¹⁰ Their fruit wilt thou destroy from the earth, And their seed from among the children of men.

¹¹ For they intended evil against thee; They conceived a device which they are not able to perform.

¹² For thou wilt make them turn their back; Thou wilt make ready with thy bowstrings against their face.

¹³ Be thou exalted, O Jehovah, in thy strength: So will we sing and praise thy power.

⁵ Our fathers hoped in thee; they hoped, and thou didst deliver them.

⁶ They cried to thee, and were saved: they hoped in thee, and were not ashamed.

⁷ But I am a worm, and not a man; a reproach of men, and scorn of the people.

⁹ He hoped in the Lord: let him deliver him, let him save him, because he takes pleasure in him.

⁷ Yahweh, you are God Almighty, and ◄I trust/the king trusts► in you. Because you faithfully love me/him, disastrous things will never happen to me/him.

⁸ You will enable me/him to capture MTY all my/his enemies and all those who hate me/him.

⁹ When you appear, you will throw them into a fiery furnace. Because you are angry with them, you will get rid of them; the fire will burn them up.

¹⁰ You will remove their children from this earth; their descendants will all disappear.

¹¹ They planned to harm you, but what they plan will never succeed.

¹² You will cause them to run away IDM by shooting arrows at them.

¹³ Yahweh, show us that you are very strong! When you do that, while we sing we will praise you because you are very powerful.

⁹ You will make them like a flaming oven before you; the Lord in his wrath will put an end to them, and they will be burned up in the fire.

¹⁰ Their fruit will be cut off from the earth, and their seed from among the children of men.

¹¹ For their thoughts were bitter against you: they had an evil design in their minds, which they were not able to put into effect.

¹² Their backs will be turned when you make ready the cords of your bow against their faces.

¹³ Be lifted up, O Lord, in your strength; so will we make songs in praise of your power.

⁷ But I am a worm, and no man: the reproach of men, and the outcast of the people.

⁸ All they that saw me have laughed me to scorn: they have spoken with the lips, and wagged the head.

⁹ He hoped in the Lord, let him deliver him: let him save him, seeing he delighteth in him.

¹⁰ For thou art he that hast drawn me out of the womb: my hope from the breasts of my mother.

¹¹ I was cast upon thee from the womb. From my mother’s womb thou art my God,

¹² Depart not from me. For tribulation is very near: for there is none to help me.

¹³ Many calves have surrounded me: fat bulls have besieged me.

⁵ Your victories brought him great glory; you granted him splendor and majesty.

⁶ You give him blessings forever. He is full of joy because you are with him.

⁷ For the king trusts in the Lord; he stands firm because of the trustworthy love of the Most High.

⁸ You, the king, will find and capture all your enemies; you will seize everyone who hates you.

⁹ When you appear on the scene you will burn them up like in a furnace; the Lord in his anger will destroy them, burning them up with fire.

¹⁰ You will wipe out their children from the earth, their descendants from humankind.

¹¹ Though they plot evil against you, their malicious schemes will not succeed.

¹² They will turn and run away when they see your arrows fired at them.

¹³ Rise up, Lord, for you are strong! We will sing and praise your power!

¹² Therefore shalt thou put them aparte, and the strings of thy bowe shalt thou make readie against their faces.

⁹ Thou shalt put them as a furnace of fire in the time of thy cheer; the Lord shall trouble them in his ire, and fire shall devour them.

¹⁰ Thou shalt lose the fruit of them from the earth; and the seed of them from the sons of men.

¹¹ For they bowed evil against thee; they thought counsels, which they might not stablish.

¹² For thou shalt put them aback; in thy remnants thou shalt make ready the cheer of them.

¹³ Lord, be thou enhanced in thy virtue; we shall sing, and say openly thy virtues.

⁵ His glory is great in thine health; thou shalt put glory, and great fairness, on him. (His glory is great because of thy help or Thy salvation hath brought him great glory; thou shalt put honour, and majesty, upon him.)

⁶ For thou shalt give him into blessing into the world of world; thou shalt make him glad in joy with thy cheer. (For thou shalt make him blessed forever and ever; thou shalt make him glad with joy before thee.)

⁷ For the king hopeth in the Lord; and in the mercy of the highest he shall not be moved. (For the king trusteth in the Lord; and by the love of the Most High, he shall not be moved, or shaken.)

⁸ Thine hand be found to all thine enemies; thy right hand find all them that hate thee. (Thy hand shall find all thy enemies; thy right hand shall find all those who hate thee.)

⁹ Thou shalt put them as a furnace of fire in the time of thy cheer; the Lord shall trouble them in his ire, and fire shall devour them. (Thou shalt put them into a fiery furnace at the time of thy coming; the Lord in his anger shall trouble them, and then fire shall devour them.)

¹⁰ Thou shalt lose the fruit of them from the earth; and the seed of them from the sons of men. (Thou shalt destroy their descendants from off the earth; yea, their children from among the sons and daughters of men.)

¹¹ For they bowed evil against thee; they thought counsels, which they might not stablish. (For they brought in evil against thee; yea, they thought out evil plans, but they could not execute them.)

¹² For thou shalt put them aback; in thy remnants thou shalt make ready the cheer of them. (For thou shalt make them turn, and run away, when thou shalt aim thy arrows at them.)

¹³ Lord, be thou enhanced in thy virtue; we shall sing, and say openly thy virtues. (Lord, be thou exalted in thy strength; we shall sing, and shall talk openly, about thy power.)

⁵ Great is his honour in Thy salvation, Honour and majesty Thou placest on him.

⁶ For Thou makest him blessings for ever, Thou dost cause him to rejoice with joy, By Thy countenance.

⁷ For the king is trusting in Jehovah, And in the kindness of the Most High He is not moved.

⁸ Thy hand cometh to all Thine enemies, Thy right hand doth find Thy haters.

⁹ Thou makest them as a furnace of fire, At the time of Thy presence. Jehovah in His anger doth swallow them, And fire doth devour them.

¹⁰ Their fruit from earth Thou destroyest, And their seed from the sons of men.

¹¹ For they stretched out against Thee evil, They devised a wicked device, they prevail not,

¹² For Thou makest them a butt, When Thy strings Thou preparest against their faces.

¹³ Be Thou exalted, O Jehovah in, Thy strength, We sing and we praise Thy might!
