³ For thou meetest him with the blessings of goodness: Thou settest a crown of fine gold on his head.

⁴ He asked life of thee, thou gavest it him, Even length of days for ever and ever.

⁵ His glory is great in thy salvation: Honor and majesty dost thou lay upon him.

⁶ For thou makest him most blessed for ever: Thou makest him glad with joy in thy presence.

⁷ For the king trusteth in Jehovah; And through the lovingkindness of the Most High he shall not be moved.

⁸ Thy hand will find out all thine enemies; Thy right hand will find out those that hate thee.

³ O my God, I will cry to thee by day, but thou wilt not hear: and by night, and it shall not be accounted for folly to me.

⁴ But thou, the praise of Israel, dwellest in a sanctuary.

⁵ Our fathers hoped in thee; they hoped, and thou didst deliver them.

⁶ They cried to thee, and were saved: they hoped in thee, and were not ashamed.

⁷ But I am a worm, and not a man; a reproach of men, and scorn of the people.

⁸ All that saw me mocked me: they spoke with their lips, they shook the head, saying,

⁴ I/He asked you to enable me/him to live for a long time, and that is what you gave me/him, a very long HYP life.

⁵ ◄I am/He is► greatly honored because you have helped me/him to defeat my/his enemies; you have made me/him famous.

⁶ You will bless me/him forever, and you have caused me/him to be joyful in your presence.

⁸ You, the king, will find and capture all your enemies; you will seize everyone who hates you.

⁵ His glory is great in thy saluation: dignitie and honour hast thou laid vpon him.

⁶ For thou hast set him as blessings for euer: thou hast made him glad with the ioy of thy countenance.

⁷ Because the King trusteth in the Lord, and in the mercie of the most High, he shall not slide.

⁶ For thou shalt give him into blessing into the world of world; thou shalt make him glad in joy with thy cheer. (For thou shalt make him blessed forever and ever; thou shalt make him glad with joy before thee.)

⁷ For the king hopeth in the Lord; and in the mercy of the highest he shall not be moved. (For the king trusteth in the Lord; and by the love of the Most High, he shall not be moved, or shaken.)

⁸ Thine hand be found to all thine enemies; thy right hand find all them that hate thee. (Thy hand shall find all thy enemies; thy right hand shall find all those who hate thee.)

³ For Thou puttest before him blessings of goodness, Thou settest on his head a crown of fine gold.

⁴ Life he hath asked from Thee, Thou hast given to him — length of days, Age-during — and for ever.

⁵ Great is his honour in Thy salvation, Honour and majesty Thou placest on him.

⁷ For the king is trusting in Jehovah, And in the kindness of the Most High He is not moved.
