² Day unto day uttereth speech, And night unto night showeth knowledge.

³ There is no speech nor language; Their voice is not heard.

⁴ Their line is gone out through all the earth, And their words to the end of the world. In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun,

⁵ Which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, And rejoiceth as a strong man to run his course.

⁶ His going forth is from the end of the heavens, And his circuit unto the ends of it; And there is nothing hid from the heat thereof.

⁷ The law of Jehovah is perfect, restoring the soul: The testimony of Jehovah is sure, making wise the simple.

⁸ The precepts of Jehovah are right, rejoicing the heart: The commandment of Jehovah is pure, enlightening the eyes.

⁹ The fear of Jehovah is clean, enduring for ever: The ordinances of Jehovah are true, and righteous altogether.

¹⁰ More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold; Sweeter also than honey and the droppings of the honeycomb.

² The Lord hear thee in the day of trouble; the name of the God of Jacob defend thee.

³ Send thee help from the sanctuary, and aid thee out of Sion.

⁴ Remember all thy sacrifice, and enrich thy whole-burnt-offering. Pause.

⁵ Grant thee according to thy heart, and fulfil all thy desire.

⁶ We will exult in thy salvation, and in the name of our God shall we be magnified: the Lord fulfil all thy petitions.

⁷ Now I know that the Lord has saved his Christ: he shall hear him from his holy heaven: the salvation of his right hand is mighty.

⁸ Some glory in chariots, and some in horses: but we will glory in the name of the Lord our God.

⁹ They are overthrown and fallen: but we are risen, and have been set upright.

² Day after day it is as though the sun proclaims the glory of God, and night after night it is as though the moon and stars say that they know that God made them.

³ They do not really speak; they do not say any words. There is no voice from them for anyone to hear.

⁴ But what they declare about God goes throughout the world, and even people who live in the most distant/remote places on earth can know it. The sun is in the skies where God placed it MET;

⁵ it rises each morning like a bridegroom who is happy as he comes out of his bedroom after his wedding. It is like a strong athlete who is very eager to start running in a race.

⁶ The sun rises at one side of the sky and goes across the sky and sets on the other side, and nothing can hide from its heat.

⁷ The instructions that Yahweh has given us are perfect; they ◄revive us/give us new strength►. We can be sure that the things that Yahweh has told us will never change, and by learning them people who have not been previously taught/instructed will become wise.

⁸ Yahweh's laws are fair/just; when we obey them, we become joyful. The commands of Yahweh are clear, and by reading them PRS we start to understand how God wants us to behave.

⁹ It is good for people to revere Yahweh; that is something that they will do forever. What Yahweh has decided is fair, and it is always right.

¹⁰ The things that God has decided are more valuable than gold, even the finest/purest gold. They are sweeter than honey that drips from honeycombs.

² Send you help from the sanctuary, and aid you out of Sion.

³ There are no words or language; their voice makes no sound.

⁴ Their line has gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them has he put a tent for the sun,

⁵ Who is like a newly married man coming from his bride-tent, and is glad like a strong runner starting on his way.

⁶ His going out is from the end of the heaven, and his circle to the ends of it; there is nothing which is not open to his heat.

⁷ The law of the Lord is good, giving new life to the soul: the witness of the Lord is certain, giving wisdom to the foolish.

⁸ The orders of the Lord are right, making glad the heart: the rule of the Lord is holy, giving light to the eyes.

⁹ The fear of the Lord is clean, and has no end; the decisions of the Lord are true and full of righteousness.

¹⁰ More to be desired are they than gold, even than much shining gold; sweeter than the dropping honey.

² May the Lord hear thee in the day of tribulation: may the name of the God of Jacob protect thee.

³ May he send thee help from the sanctuary: and defend thee out of Sion.

⁴ May he be mindful of all thy sacrifices: and may thy whole burnt offering be made fat.

⁵ May he give thee according to thy own heart; and confirm all thy counsels.

⁶ We will rejoice in thy salvation; and in the name of our God we shall be exalted.

⁷ The Lord fulfill all thy petitions: now have I known that the Lord hath saved his anointed. He will hear him from his holy heaven: the salvation of his right hand is in powers.

⁸ Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will call upon the name of the Lord our God.

⁹ They are bound, and have fallen; but we are risen, and are set upright. O Lord, save the king: and hear us in the day that we shall call upon thee.

² Each day speaks constantly about God's glory to the next day; each night shares knowledge of God with the next night.

³ They speak without speech or words; their voice is not audible;

⁴ Yet what they say is heard all over the earth; their message goes to the whole world. God has made a home in the heavens for the sun.

⁵ It's like a bridegroom coming out of his room, like a fit athlete happy to run a race.

⁶ It rises on one side of the heavens and travels across to the other. Nothing is hidden from its heat.

⁷ The Lord's law is beneficial, renewing spiritual life. The Lord's teaching is trustworthy, making inexperienced people wise.

⁸ The Lord's instructions are right, making people glad. The Lord's commandments are sincere, helping people see what is good.

⁹ Reverence for the Lord is right, and lasts forever. The Lord's judgments are both true and fair.

¹⁰ They are more to be valued than gold, even the finest gold; they are sweeter than honey, even the purest honey coming straight from the honeycomb.

² Day vnto day vttereth the same, and night vnto night teacheth knowledge.

³ There is no speach nor language, where their voyce is not heard.

⁴ Their line is gone forth through all the earth, and their words into the endes of the world: in them hath he set a tabernacle for the sunne.

⁶ His going out is from the ende of the heauen, and his compasse is vnto the endes of ye same, and none is hid from the heate thereof.

⁷ The Lawe of the Lord is perfite, conuerting the soule: the testimonie of the Lord is sure, and giueth wisedome vnto the simple.

⁸ The statutes of the Lord are right and reioyce the heart: the commandement of the Lord is pure, and giueth light vnto the eyes.

⁹ The feare of the Lord is cleane, and indureth for euer: the iudgements of the Lord are trueth: they are righteous altogether,

¹⁰ And more to be desired then golde, yea, then much fine golde: sweeter also then honie and the honie combe.

⁹ The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring forever. The LORD’s ordinances are true, and righteous altogether.

¹⁰ They are more to be desired than gold, yes, than much fine gold, sweeter also than honey and the extract of the honeycomb.

² Day after day they pour out speech, and night after night they display knowledge.

³ There is no speech nor language where their voice is not heard.

⁴ Their voice has gone out through all the earth, their words to the end of the world. In them he has set a tent for the sun,

⁵ which is as a bridegroom coming out of his room, like a strong man rejoicing to run his course.

⁶ His going out is from the end of the heavens, his circuit to its ends. There is nothing hidden from its heat.

⁷ The LORD’s law is perfect, restoring the soul. The LORD’s covenant is sure, making wise the simple.

⁸ The LORD’s precepts are right, rejoicing the heart. The LORD’s commandment is pure, enlightening the eyes.

² The day telleth out to the day a word; and the night showeth know-ing to the night.

³ No languages be, neither words; of which the voices of them be not heard.

⁴ The sound of them went out into all earth; and the words of them into the ends of the world. In the sun he hath set his tabernacle;

⁵ and he as a spouse coming forth of his chamber. He fully joyed, as a giant, to run his way;

⁶ his going out was from the high-est heaven. And his going again was to the highest thereof; and none there is that hideth himself from his heat.

⁷ The law of the Lord is without wem, and converteth souls; the wit-nessing of the Lord is faithful, and giveth wisdom to little, either meek, children.

⁸ The rightfulnesses of the Lord be rightful, gladdening hearts; the com-mandment of the Lord is clear, en-lightening eyes.

⁹ The holy dread of the Lord dwelleth into the world of world; the dooms of the Lord be true, justified into themselves.

⁵ and he as a spouse coming forth of his chamber. He fully joyed, as a giant, to run his way; (and the sun is like a spouse coming forth from his bed-chamber. It rejoiced, like a strong man, who runneth his race;)

⁶ his going out was from the highest heaven. And his going again was to the highest thereof; and none there is that hideth himself from his heat. (it went out from the heights of the heavens, and that is also to where it returned. And there is nothing that can hide from its heat or And nothing is hidden from its heat.)

⁷ The law of the Lord is without wem, and converteth souls; the witnessing of the Lord is faithful, and giveth wisdom to little, either meek, children. (The Law of the Lord is without blemish, or without fault, and converteth souls; the teaching of the Lord is faithful, and giveth wisdom to the simple.)

⁸ The rightfulnesses of the Lord be rightful, gladdening hearts, (or The precepts of the Lord be right, gladdening hearts); the commandment of the Lord is clear, enlightening eyes.

⁹ The holy dread of the Lord dwelleth into the world of world; the dooms of the Lord be true, justified into themselves. (The fear of the Lord is holy, or pure, or Reverence for the Lord is holy, or pure, and it remaineth forever and ever; the judgements of the Lord be true, and justified unto themselves.)

⁵ And he, as a bridegroom, goeth out from his covering, He rejoiceth as a mighty one To run the path.

⁶ From the end of the heavens is his going out, And his revolution is unto their ends, And nothing is hid from his heat.

⁷ The law of Jehovah is perfect, refreshing the soul, The testimonies of Jehovah are stedfast, Making wise the simple,

⁸ The precepts of Jehovah are upright, Rejoicing the heart, The command of Jehovah is pure, enlightening the eyes,

⁹ The fear of Jehovah is clean, standing to the age, The judgments of Jehovah are true, They have been righteous — together.

¹⁰ They are more desirable than gold, Yea, than much fine gold; and sweeter than honey, Even liquid honey of the comb.
