¹ Praise ye Jehovah. Sing unto Jehovah a new song, And his praise in the assembly of the saints.

² Let Israel rejoice in him that made him: Let the children of Zion be joyful in their King.

³ Let them praise his name in the dance: Let them sing praises unto him with timbrel and harp.

⁴ For Jehovah taketh pleasure in his people: He will beautify the meek with salvation.

¹ Alleluia. Sing to the Lord a new song: his praise is in the assembly of the saints.

² Let Israel rejoice in him that made him; and let the children of Sion exult in their king.

³ Let them praise his name in the dance: let them sing praises to him with timbrel and psaltery.

⁴ Yahweh is pleased with his people; he honors humble people by helping them to defeat their enemies.

⁴ For the Lord is well pleased in his people; and he hath raised mild men into health. (For the Lord is well pleased with his people; and he hath raised up the meek to victory, or and he hath given salvation, or deliverance, to the humble.)
