⁴ He counteth the number of the stars; He calleth them all by their names.

⁵ Great is our Lord, and mighty in power; His understanding is infinite.

⁶ Jehovah upholdeth the meek: He bringeth the wicked down to the ground.

⁷ Sing unto Jehovah with thanksgiving; Sing praises upon the harp unto our God,

⁸ Who covereth the heavens with clouds, Who prepareth rain for the earth, Who maketh grass to grow upon the mountains.

⁹ He giveth to the beast his food, And to the young ravens which cry.

¹⁰ He delighteth not in the strength of the horse: He taketh no pleasure in the legs of a man.

³ He makes thy borders peaceful, and fills thee with the flour of wheat.

⁴ He sends his oracle to the earth: his word will run swiftly.

⁵ He gives snow like wool: he scatters the mist like ashes.

⁶ Casting forth his ice like morsels: who shall stand before his cold?

⁷ He shall send out his word, and melt them: he shall blow with his wind, and the waters shall flow.

⁸ He sends his word to Jacob, his ordinances and judgments to Israel.

⁹ He has not done so to any other nation; and he has not shewn them his judgments.

⁶ Yahweh lifts up those who have been oppressed, and he throws the wicked down to the ground.

⁷ Thank Yahweh while you are singing to him to praise him; on the harps, play music to our God.

⁸ He covers the sky with clouds, and then he sends rain to the earth and causes grass to grow on the hills.

⁹ He gives to animals the food that they need, and gives food to young crows/birds when they cry out because they are hungry.

¹⁰ He is not pleased with strong horses or with men who can run MTY fast.

⁸ Which covereth heaven with clouds; and maketh ready rain to the earth. Which bringeth forth hay in hills; and herb to the service of men. (Who covereth the heavens with clouds; and prepareth rain for the earth. Who bringeth forth hay, or grass, on the hills; and plants for the service of all.)

⁹ Which giveth meat to their work beasts; and to the birds of crows calling him. (Who giveth food to their work beasts; and to the younglings of crows calling to him.)

¹⁰ He shall not have will in the strength of an horse; neither it shall be well pleasant to him in the legs of a man. (He shall not take delight in the strength of a horse; nor shall a man’sfast legs be well pleasing to him.)

³ Who is giving healing to the broken of heart, And is binding up their griefs.

⁴ Appointing the number of the stars, To all them He giveth names.

⁵ Great is our Lord, and abundant in power, Of His understanding there is no narration.
