Psalms 146:2-10 in American Standard Version (1901)

2 While I live will I praise Jehovah: I will sing praises unto my God while I have any being.
3 Put not your trust in princes, Nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help.
4 His breath goeth forth, he returneth to his earth; In that very day his thoughts perish.
5 Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help, Whose hope is in Jehovah his God:
6 Who made heaven and earth, The sea, and all that in them is; Who keepeth truth for ever;
7 Who executeth justice for the oppressed; Who giveth food to the hungry. Jehovah looseth the prisoners;
8 Jehovah openeth the eyes of the blind; Jehovah raiseth up them that are bowed down; Jehovah loveth the righteous;
9 Jehovah preserveth the sojourners; He upholdeth the fatherless and widow; But the way of the wicked he turneth upside down.
10 Jehovah will reign for ever, Thy God, O Zion, unto all generations. Praise ye Jehovah.

Psalms 146:2-10 in Brenton Septuagint Translation

2 The Lord builds up Jerusalem; and he will gather together the dispersed of Israel.
3 He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds.
4 He numbers the multitudes of stars; and calls them all by names.
5 Great is our Lord, and great is his strength; and his understanding is infinite.
6 The Lord lifts up the meek; but brings sinners down to the ground.
7 Begin the song with thanksgiving to the Lord; sing praises on the harp to our God:
8 who covers the heaven with clouds, who prepares rain for the earth, who causes grass to spring up on the mountains, and green herb for the service of men;
9 and gives to cattle their food, and to the young ravens that call upon him.
10 He will not take pleasure in the strength of a horse; neither is he well-pleased with the legs of a man.

Psalms 146:2-10 in Translation for Translators

2 I will praise Yahweh as long as I am alive; I will sing to praise my God for the rest of my life.
3 You people, do not trust in your leaders; do not trust humans because they cannot save/rescue you from your difficulties/problems.
4 And when they die, their corpses decay and become soil again. After they die, they can no longer do the things that they planned to do.
5 But those whose helper is the God whom Jacob worshiped are happy. The one whom they confidently expect to help them is Yahweh, their God.
6 He is the one who created heaven and the earth and the oceans and all the creatures that are in them. He always does what he has promised to do.
7 He decides matters fairly for those who are ◄treated unfairly/oppressed►, and he provides food for those who are hungry. He frees those who are in prison.
8 Yahweh enables those who are blind to see again. He lifts up those who have fallen down. He loves righteous people.
9 Yahweh takes care of those from other countries who live in our land, and he helps widows and orphans. But he gets rid of wicked people.
10 Yahweh will continue to be our king forever; you people of Israel, your God will rule forever! Praise Yahweh!

2 While I have breath I will give praise to the Lord: I will make melody to my God while I have my being.
3 Put not your faith in rulers, or in the son of man, in whom there is no salvation.
4 Man's breath goes out, he is turned back again to dust; in that day all his purposes come to an end.
5 Happy is the man who has the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the Lord his God:
6 Who made heaven and earth, the sea, and all things in them; who keeps faith for ever:
7 Who gives their rights to those who are crushed down; and gives food to those who are in need of it: the Lord makes the prisoners free;
8 The Lord makes open the eyes of the blind; the Lord is the lifter up of those who are bent down; the Lord is a lover of the upright;
9 The Lord takes care of those who are in a strange land; he gives help to the widow and to the child who has no father; but he sends destruction on the way of sinners.
10 The Lord will be King for ever; your God, O Zion, will be King through all generations. Praise be to the Lord.

8 The LORD opens the eyes of the blind. The LORD raises up those who are bowed down. The LORD loves the righteous.
9 The LORD preserves the foreigners. He upholds the fatherless and widow, but he turns the way of the wicked upside down.
10 The LORD will reign forever; your God, O Zion, to all generations. Praise the LORD!
Psalms 146 in World Messianic Bible British Edition

Psalms 146:2-10 in Wycliffe's Bible with Modern Spelling

2 I shall praise the Lord in my life; I shall sing to my God as long as I shall be.
3 Do not ye trust in princes; neither in the sons of men, in whom is no health.
4 The spirit of him shall go out, and he shall turn again into his earth; in that day all the thoughts of them shall perish.
5 He is blessed, of whom the God of Jacob is his helper; his hope is in his Lord God,
6 that made heaven, and earth; the sea, and all things that be in those or them. Which keepeth truth into the world,
7 he maketh doom to them that suffer wrong; he giveth meat to them that be hungry. The Lord unbindeth fettered men;
8 the Lord lighteneth blind men. The Lord raiseth men hurled or hurtled down; the Lord loveth just men.
9 The Lord keepeth comelings; he shall take up a motherless child, and a widow; and he shall destroy the ways of sinners.
10 The Lord shall reign into the worlds; Zion, thy God shall reign in generation and into generation.

5 He is blessed, of whom the God of Jacob is his helper; his hope is in his Lord God, (He is blessed, whom the God of Jacob is his helper; his hope is in the Lord his God,)

(The Lord keepeth newcomers, or strangers, safe or The Lord keepeth watch over newcomers, or strangers; he taketh up the causes of a motherless child, and of a widow; but he destroyeth the ways of the sinners.)
10 The Lord shall reign into the worlds; Zion, thy God shall reign in generation and into generation. (The Lord shall reign forever; Zion, thy God shall reign for all generations, or thy God shall reign in all generations.)

Psalms 146:2-10 in Young's Literal Translation

2 I praise Jehovah during my life, I sing praise to my God while I exist.
3 Trust not in princes — in a son of man, For he hath no deliverance.
4 His spirit goeth forth, he returneth to his earth, In that day have his thoughts perished.
5 O the happiness of him Who hath the God of Jacob for his help, His hope is on Jehovah his God,
6 Making the heavens and earth, The sea and all that is in them, Who is keeping truth to the age,
7 Doing judgment for the oppressed, Giving bread to the hungry.
8 Jehovah is loosing the prisoners, Jehovah is opening (the eyes of) the blind, Jehovah is raising the bowed down, Jehovah is loving the righteous,
9 Jehovah is preserving the strangers, The fatherless and widow He causeth to stand, And the way of the wicked He turneth upside down.
10 Jehovah doth reign to the age, Thy God, O Zion, to generation and generation, Praise ye Jah!
