¹ A Psalm of praise; of David. I will extol thee, my God, O King; And I will bless thy name for ever and ever.

² Every day will I bless thee; And I will praise thy name for ever and ever.

³ Great is Jehovah, and greatly to be praised; And his greatness is unsearchable.

⁴ One generation shall laud thy works to another, And shall declare thy mighty acts.

⁵ Of the glorious majesty of thine honor, And of thy wondrous works, will I meditate.

⁶ And men shall speak of the might of thy terrible acts; And I will declare thy greatness.

⁷ They shall utter the memory of thy great goodness, And shall sing of thy righteousness.

⁸ Jehovah is gracious, and merciful; Slow to anger, and of great lovingkindness.

⁹ Jehovah is good to all; And his tender mercies are over all his works.

¹⁰ All thy works shall give thanks unto thee, O Jehovah; And thy saints shall bless thee.

¹¹ They shall speak of the glory of thy kingdom, And talk of thy power;

³ Trust not in princes, nor in the children of men, in whom there is no safety.

⁶ who made heaven, and earth, the sea, and all things in them: who keeps truth for ever:

⁷ who executes judgment for the wronged: who gives food to the hungry. The Lord looses the fettered ones:

⁸ the Lord gives wisdom to the blind: The Lord sets up the broken down: the Lord loves the righteous: the Lord preserves the strangers;

⁹ he will relieve the orphan and widow: but will utterly remove the way of sinners.

³ Yahweh you are great, and ◄you ought to be praised/people should praise you► very much; we cannot fully realize how great you are.

⁴ Parents should tell their children the things that you have done; they should tell their children about your mighty deeds.

⁵ They should tell them that you are very glorious and majestic DOU, and I will ◄meditate on/think about► all your wonderful deeds.

⁶ People will speak about your powerful and awesome deeds, and I will proclaim that you are very great.

⁷ People will remember and proclaim that you are very good to us, and they will sing joyfully that you always act justly/fairly.

⁸ Yahweh, you are kind and merciful to us; you do not quickly become angry; you faithfully love us very much.

⁹ Yahweh, you are good to everyone, and you are merciful to everything that you have made.

¹⁰ Yahweh, all the creatures that you made will thank you, and all your people will praise you.

¹¹ They will tell others that you rule gloriously as our king and that you are very powerful.

⁴ One generation after another will give praise to your great acts, and make clear the operation of your strength.

⁵ My thoughts will be of the honour and glory of your rule, and of the wonder of your works.

⁶ Men will be talking of the power and fear of your acts; I will give word of your glory.

⁷ Their sayings will be full of the memory of all your mercy, and they will make songs of your righteousness.

⁸ The Lord is full of grace and pity; not quickly angry, but great in mercy.

⁹ The Lord is good to all men; and his mercies are over all his works.

¹⁰ All the works of your hands give praise to you, O Lord; and your saints give you blessing.

¹¹ Their words will be of the glory of your kingdom, and their talk of your strength;

⁸ Jehovah is gracious and merciful; slow to anger, and of great loving-kindness.

⁹ Jehovah is good to all; and his tender mercies are over all his works.

¹⁰ All thy works shall praise thee, Jehovah, and thy saints shall bless thee.

¹¹ They shall tell of the glory of thy kingdom, and speak of thy power;

¹ Alleluia, of Aggeus and Zacharias.

² Praise the Lord, O my soul, in my life I will praise the Lord: I will sing to my God as long as I shall be. Put not your trust in princes:

³ In the children of men, in whom there is no salvation.

⁴ His spirit shall go forth, and he shall return into his earth: in that day all their thoughts shall perish.

⁵ Blessed is he who hath the God of Jacob for his helper, whose hope is in the Lord his God:

⁶ Who made heaven and earth, the sea, and all things that are in them.

⁷ Who keepeth truth for ever: who executeth judgment for them that suffer wrong: who giveth food to the hungry. The Lord looseth them that are fettered:

⁸ The Lord enlighteneth the blind. The Lord lifteth up them that are cast down: the Lord loveth the just.

⁹ The Lord keepeth the strangers, he will support the fatherless and the widow: and the ways of sinners he will destroy.

¹⁰ The Lord shall reign for ever: thy God, O Sion, unto generation and generation.

¹ A psalm of David. A song of praise. I will glorify you, my God and King! I will praise who you are forever and ever!

² I will praise you every day; I will praise your character forever and ever!

³ The Lord is great and deserves much praise! His greatness cannot be measured!

⁴ Let every generation tell the next all that you do, sharing the stories of your amazing miracles!

⁵ They will speak of your majesty, your glorious splendor, and I will meditate on the wonderful things you have done.

⁶ They will speak of the power of your awesome actions, and I will say how wonderful you are.

⁷ They will explain to everyone how famous you are for your tremendous goodness, and joyfully celebrate how you always do what is right.

⁸ The Lord is merciful and gracious, not easily angered, and full of trustworthy love.

⁹ The Lord is good to everyone, and he shows mercy to all his created beings.

¹⁰ All the created beings will thank you, Lord, and all who faithfully follow you will praise you.

¹¹ They will praise the glory of your kingdom, and talk about your power.

² I will blesse thee dayly, and prayse thy Name for euer and euer.

³ Great is the Lord, and most worthy to be praysed, and his greatnes is incomprehensible.

⁴ One age to another shall praise your deeds, declaring the mighty things you have done.

⁵ Of your glorious majesty they shall tell, and I will muse of your many wonders.

⁶ Of the might of your terrible acts they shall speak, and the tale of your great deeds I will tell.

⁷ The fame of your abundant goodness and righteousness they shall pour forth in song.

⁸ The Lord is full of grace and pity, patient and rich in loving-kindness.

⁹ The Lord is good to all the world, and his pity is over all things that he made.

¹⁰ All your works give you thanks, O Lord, and you are blessed of those who love you.

¹¹ They shall speak of your glorious kingdom, and of your might shall they discourse,

¹ A song of praise. Of David. I will exalt you, my God, O king: I will praise your name for ever and ever.

³ Great is the Lord and worthy all praise, his greatness is unsearchable.

⁴ One age to another shall praise your deeds, declaring the mighty things you have done.
