⁶ For though Jehovah is high, yet hath he respect unto the lowly; But the haughty he knoweth from afar.

⁷ Though I walk in the midst of trouble, thou wilt revive me; Thou wilt stretch forth thy hand against the wrath of mine enemies, And thy right hand will save me.

⁸ Jehovah will perfect that which concerneth me: Thy lovingkindness, O Jehovah, endureth for ever; Forsake not the works of thine own hands.

⁶ The knowledge of thee is too wonderful for me; it is very difficult, I cannot attain to it.

⁷ Whither shall I go from thy Spirit? and whither shall I flee from thy presence?

⁸ If I should go up to heaven, thou art there: if I should go down to hell, thou art present.

⁶ Yahweh, you are supreme, but you take care of people who are considered to be unimportant. And you know what proud people are doing, even though they are far away from you and think that you do not see them.

⁷ When I am in the midst of many troubles/difficulties, you save/rescue me. With your hand/power MTY you rescue me from my enemies who are angry at me.

⁸ Yahweh, you will do for me everything that you promised; you faithfully love us forever. Finish what you started to do for us, your Israeli people.

⁸ Jehovah will perfect what concerneth me: thy loving-kindness, O Jehovah, endureth for ever; forsake not the works of thine own hands.

⁶ Thy knowledge is become wonderful to me: it is high, and I cannot reach to it.

⁷ Whither shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy face?

⁸ If I ascend into heaven, thou art there: if I descend into hell, thou art present.

⁶ Though the Lord is high above, he pays attention to the lowly; but he recognizes the proud a long way off.

⁷ Even though I walk into a great deal of trouble, you protect me. You reach out to defend me from the anger of those who hate me—your strong hand saves me.

⁸ The Lord vindicates me! Lord, your trustworthy love lasts forever! Don't give up on what you have made!

⁶ For the Lord is high: yet he beholdeth the lowly, but the proude he knoweth afarre off.

⁷ If I shall go in the midst of tribulation, thou shalt quicken me; and thou stretchedest forth thine hand on the ire of mine enemies, and thy right hand made me safe. (Yea, though I go in the midst of trouble, or of tribulation, thou keepest me safe or thou keepest me alive; and thou stretchest forth thy hand against the rage of my enemies, and thy right hand savest me.)

⁸ The Lord shall yield for me, Lord, thy mercy is into without end; despise thou not the works of thine hands. (The Lord shall bring to pass his promises to me. O Lord, thy love is forever; so complete thy work.)

⁶ For high is Jehovah, and the lowly He seeth, And the haughty from afar He knoweth.

⁷ If I walk in the midst of distress Thou quickenest me, Against the anger of mine enemies Thou sendest forth Thy hand, And Thy right hand doth save me.

⁸ Jehovah doth perfect for me, O Jehovah, Thy kindness is to the age, The works of Thy hands let not fall!
