² I will worship toward thy holy temple, And give thanks unto thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: For thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.

³ In the day that I called thou answeredst me, Thou didst encourage me with strength in my soul.

⁴ All the kings of the earth shall give thee thanks, O Jehovah, For they have heard the words of thy mouth.

⁵ Yea, they shall sing of the ways of Jehovah; For great is the glory of Jehovah.

⁶ For though Jehovah is high, yet hath he respect unto the lowly; But the haughty he knoweth from afar.

⁷ Though I walk in the midst of trouble, thou wilt revive me; Thou wilt stretch forth thy hand against the wrath of mine enemies, And thy right hand will save me.

⁸ Jehovah will perfect that which concerneth me: Thy lovingkindness, O Jehovah, endureth for ever; Forsake not the works of thine own hands.

³ Thou hast traced my path and my bed, and hast foreseen all my ways.

⁶ The knowledge of thee is too wonderful for me; it is very difficult, I cannot attain to it.

⁷ Whither shall I go from thy Spirit? and whither shall I flee from thy presence?

⁸ If I should go up to heaven, thou art there: if I should go down to hell, thou art present.

³ On the day when I called out to you, you answered me; you enabled me to be strong and brave.

⁴ Yahweh, some day all the kings of this earth will praise you, because they will have heard what you have said.

⁵ They will sing about what you have done; they will sing and say that you are very great.

⁶ Yahweh, you are supreme, but you take care of people who are considered to be unimportant. And you know what proud people are doing, even though they are far away from you and think that you do not see them.

⁷ When I am in the midst of many troubles/difficulties, you save/rescue me. With your hand/power MTY you rescue me from my enemies who are angry at me.

⁸ Yahweh, you will do for me everything that you promised; you faithfully love us forever. Finish what you started to do for us, your Israeli people.

⁶ Though the Lord is high, he sees those who are low; and he has knowledge from far off of those who are lifted up.

⁷ Even when trouble is round me, you will give me life; your hand will be stretched out against the wrath of my haters, and your right hand will be my salvation.

⁸ The Lord will make all things complete for me: O Lord, your mercy is eternal; do not give up the works of your hands.

³ Thou hast understood my thoughts afar off: my path and my line thou hast searched out.

⁴ And thou hast foreseen all my ways: for there is no speech in my tongue.

⁵ Behold, O Lord, thou hast known all things, the last and those of old: thou hast formed me, and hast laid thy hand upon me.

⁶ Thy knowledge is become wonderful to me: it is high, and I cannot reach to it.

⁷ Whither shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy face?

⁸ If I ascend into heaven, thou art there: if I descend into hell, thou art present.

² I bow down before your holy Temple, and I am thankful because of who you are—for your trustworthy love and faithfulness—and for the fact that your promises are even greater than what people expect of you.

³ On the day I cried out to you for help, you answered me. You encouraged me and made me strong.

⁴ All the kings of the earth will praise you, Lord, for they have heard what you have said.

⁵ They will sing about what the Lord has done and about the great glory of the Lord.

⁶ Though the Lord is high above, he pays attention to the lowly; but he recognizes the proud a long way off.

⁷ Even though I walk into a great deal of trouble, you protect me. You reach out to defend me from the anger of those who hate me—your strong hand saves me.

⁸ The Lord vindicates me! Lord, your trustworthy love lasts forever! Don't give up on what you have made!

³ When I called, then thou heardest me, and hast encreased strength in my soule.

⁴ Lord, all the kings of earth acknowledge to thee; for they heard all the words of thy mouth. (Lord, all the kings of the earth shall praise thee; for they have heard all the words of thy mouth.)

⁵ And sing they in the ways of the Lord (or And they shall sing of the ways of the Lord); for the glory of the Lord is great.

⁶ For the Lord is high, and beholdeth meek things; and knoweth afar high things. (For though the Lord is high above, he looketh upon the meek or he careth for the humble; and he knoweth the proud from afar.)

⁷ If I shall go in the midst of tribulation, thou shalt quicken me; and thou stretchedest forth thine hand on the ire of mine enemies, and thy right hand made me safe. (Yea, though I go in the midst of trouble, or of tribulation, thou keepest me safe or thou keepest me alive; and thou stretchest forth thy hand against the rage of my enemies, and thy right hand savest me.)

⁸ The Lord shall yield for me, Lord, thy mercy is into without end; despise thou not the works of thine hands. (The Lord shall bring to pass his promises to me. O Lord, thy love is forever; so complete thy work.)

² I bow myself toward Thy holy temple, And I confess Thy name, For Thy kindness, and for Thy truth, For Thou hast made great Thy saying above all Thy name.

³ In the day I called, when Thou dost answer me, Thou dost strengthen me in my soul with strength.

⁴ O Jehovah, all kings of earth confess Thee, When they have heard the sayings of Thy mouth.

⁵ And they sing in the ways of Jehovah, For great is the honour of Jehovah.

⁶ For high is Jehovah, and the lowly He seeth, And the haughty from afar He knoweth.

⁷ If I walk in the midst of distress Thou quickenest me, Against the anger of mine enemies Thou sendest forth Thy hand, And Thy right hand doth save me.
