⁵ To him that by understanding made the heavens; For his lovingkindness endureth for ever:

⁶ To him that spread forth the earth above the waters; For his lovingkindness endureth for ever:

⁷ To him that made great lights; For his lovingkindness endureth for ever:

⁸ The sun to rule by day; For his lovingkindness endureth for ever;

⁹ The moon and stars to rule by night; For his lovingkindness endureth for ever:

¹⁰ To him that smote Egypt in their first-born; For his lovingkindness endureth for ever;

¹¹ And brought out Israel from among them; For his lovingkindness endureth for ever;

⁵ If I forget thee, O Jerusalem, let my right hand forget its skill.

⁶ May my tongue cleave to my throat, if I do not remember thee; if I do not prefer Jerusalem as the chief of my joy.

⁷ Remember, O Lord, the children of Edom in the day of Jerusalem; who said, Rase it, rase it, even to its foundations.

⁸ Wretched daughter of Babylon! blessed shall he be who shall reward thee as thou hast rewarded us.

⁹ Blessed shall he be who shall seize and dash thine infants against the rock.

⁸ He created the sun to shine in the daytime; his faithful love for us endures forever.

⁹ He created the moon and stars to shine during the nighttime; his faithful love for us endures forever.

¹⁰ He is the one who killed the firstborn males in Egypt; his faithful love for us endures forever.

¹¹ He led the Israeli people out of Egypt; his faithful love for us endures forever.

⁸ The sun to have rule by day: for his mercy is unchanging for ever.

⁹ The moon and the stars to have rule by night: for his mercy is unchanging for ever.

¹⁰ To him who put to death the first-fruits of Egypt: for his mercy is unchanging for ever:

¹¹ And took out Israel from among them: for his mercy is unchanging for ever:

⁷ Remember, O Lord, the children of Edom, in the day of Jerusalem: Who say: Rase it, rase it, even to the foundation thereof.

⁸ O daughter of Babylon, miserable: blessed shall he be who shall repay thee thy payment which thou hast paid us.

⁹ Blessed be he that shall take and dash thy little ones against the rock.

⁵ To him who knew how to make the heavens. For his trustworthy love lasts forever.

⁶ To him who spread out the earth over the waters. For his trustworthy love lasts forever.

⁷ To him who made the lights above. For his trustworthy love lasts forever.

⁸ The sun to rule the day. For his trustworthy love lasts forever.

⁹ The moon and stars to rule the night. For his trustworthy love lasts forever.

¹⁰ To him who struck down the firstborn in Egypt. For his trustworthy love lasts forever.

¹¹ He led his people out of Egypt. For his trustworthy love lasts forever.

⁹ The moone and the starres to gouerne the night: for his mercie endureth for euer:

¹⁰ To him who struck down the Egyptian person from Abode of slavery firstborn; for his grace endures forever;

¹¹ And brought out Israel God prevails from among them; for his loyal devotion endures forever;

⁶ Give thanks to him who spread out the earth above the waters, for his covenant faithfulness endures forever—

⁶ Which made steadfast the earth on waters.

⁷ Which made great lights.

⁸ The sun into the power of the day.

⁹ The moon and the stars into the power of the night.

¹⁰ Which smote Egypt with the first engendered things of them.

¹¹ Which led out Israel from the midst of them.

⁵ Which made heavens by understanding. (Who made the heavens by his wisdom.)

⁶ Which made steadfast the earth on waters. (Who made the earth firm upon the waters.)

⁷ Which made great lights. (Who made the great lights.)

⁸ The sun into the power of the day. (The sun to have power over the day.)

⁹ The moon and the stars into power of the night. (The moon and the stars to have power over the night.)

¹⁰ Which smote Egypt with the first engendered things of them. (Who struck down the first-born of the Egyptians.)

¹¹ Which led out Israel from the midst of them. (Who led out Israel from their midst.)

⁵ To Him making the heavens by understanding, For to the age is His kindness.

⁶ To Him spreading the earth over the waters, For to the age is His kindness.

⁷ To Him making great lights, For to the age is His kindness.

⁸ The sun to rule by day, For to the age is His kindness.

⁹ The moon and stars to rule by night, For to the age is His kindness.

¹⁰ To Him smiting Egypt in their first-born, For to the age is His kindness.
