⁹ Who sent signs and wonders into the midst of thee, O Egypt, Upon Pharaoh, and upon all his servants;

¹⁰ Who smote many nations, And slew mighty kings,

⁷ To him who alone made great lights; for his mercy endures for ever.

⁸ The sun to rule the day; for his mercy endures for ever.

⁹ The moon and the stars to rule the night; for his mercy endures for ever.

¹⁰ To him who smote Egypt with their first-born; for his mercy endures for ever.
