⁴ For Jehovah hath chosen Jacob unto himself, And Israel for his own possession.

⁵ For I know that Jehovah is great, And that our Lord is above all gods.

⁶ Whatsoever Jehovah pleased, that hath he done, In heaven and in earth, in the seas and in all deeps;

⁷ Who causeth the vapors to ascend from the ends of the earth; Who maketh lightnings for the rain; Who bringeth forth the wind out of his treasuries;

⁸ Who smote the first-born of Egypt, Both of man and beast;

⁹ Who sent signs and wonders into the midst of thee, O Egypt, Upon Pharaoh, and upon all his servants;

¹⁰ Who smote many nations, And slew mighty kings,

¹¹ Sihon king of the Amorites, And Og king of Bashan, And all the kingdoms of Canaan,

⁴ To him who alone has wrought great wonders: for his mercy endures for ever.

⁵ To him who made the heavens by understanding; for his mercy endures for ever.

⁶ To him who established the earth on the waters; for his mercy endures for ever.

⁷ To him who alone made great lights; for his mercy endures for ever.

⁵ I know that Yahweh is great; he is greater than all the gods.

⁶ Yahweh does whatever he desires to do, in heaven and on the earth and in the seas/oceans, down to the bottom of the seas.

⁷ He is the one who causes clouds to appear from very distant places on the earth; he sends lightning with the rain, and he brings the winds from the places where he stores them.

⁸ He is the one who killed all the firstborn males in Egypt, the firstborn of people and of animals.

⁹ There he performed many kinds of miracles DOU to punish the king and all his officials.

¹⁰ He destroyed many nations and the powerful kings who ruled them:

¹¹ Sihon, the king of the Amor people-group, and Og, the king of Bashan region, and all the other kings in Canaan land.

⁹ He did wonderful miracles among you in Egypt, against Pharaoh and all his servants.

¹⁰ He struck down many nations, he killed powerful kings, such as

¹¹ Sihon, king of the Amorites, Og, king of Bashan, and all the kings who ruled in Canaan.

¹¹ Sihon, the king of Amorites, and Og, the king of Bashan; and all the realms of Canaan.

⁴ For the Lord chose Jacob to himself; and Israel into possession to himself. (For the Lord chose Jacob for himself; yea, he chose Israel as his special possession.)

⁵ For I have known, that the Lord is great; and our God (is) before all gods. (For I know that the Lord is great; and that our God is above all gods.)
