⁴ For Jehovah hath chosen Jacob unto himself, And Israel for his own possession.

⁵ For I know that Jehovah is great, And that our Lord is above all gods.

⁶ Whatsoever Jehovah pleased, that hath he done, In heaven and in earth, in the seas and in all deeps;

⁷ Who causeth the vapors to ascend from the ends of the earth; Who maketh lightnings for the rain; Who bringeth forth the wind out of his treasuries;

⁸ Who smote the first-born of Egypt, Both of man and beast;

⁹ Who sent signs and wonders into the midst of thee, O Egypt, Upon Pharaoh, and upon all his servants;

¹⁰ Who smote many nations, And slew mighty kings,

¹¹ Sihon king of the Amorites, And Og king of Bashan, And all the kingdoms of Canaan,

¹² And gave their land for a heritage, A heritage unto Israel his people.

⁶ Yahweh does whatever he desires to do, in heaven and on the earth and in the seas/oceans, down to the bottom of the seas.

⁷ He is the one who causes clouds to appear from very distant places on the earth; he sends lightning with the rain, and he brings the winds from the places where he stores them.

⁸ He is the one who killed all the firstborn males in Egypt, the firstborn of people and of animals.

⁹ There he performed many kinds of miracles DOU to punish the king and all his officials.

¹⁰ He destroyed many nations and the powerful kings who ruled them:

¹¹ Sihon, the king of the Amor people-group, and Og, the king of Bashan region, and all the other kings in Canaan land.

¹² Then he gave their land to us Israeli people to belong to us forever.

¹⁰ He overcame great nations, and put strong kings to death;

⁶ The Lord does whatever he wants throughout heaven and earth, on the seas and in the ocean depths.

⁷ He causes the clouds to rise all over the earth, he makes lightning flash and give rain, he sends the winds from his storehouses.

⁸ He struck down the firstborn of Egypt, both human and animal.

⁹ He did wonderful miracles among you in Egypt, against Pharaoh and all his servants.

¹⁰ He struck down many nations, he killed powerful kings, such as

¹¹ Sihon, king of the Amorites, Og, king of Bashan, and all the kings who ruled in Canaan.

¹² He handed over their lands to Israel, his special people, for them to possess.

⁸ He struck the firstborn of Egypt, both of man and animal.

⁹ He sent signs and wonders into the middle of you, Egypt, on Pharaoh, and on all his servants.

¹⁰ He struck many nations, and killed mighty kings—

¹¹ Sihon king of the Amorites, Og king of Bashan, and all the kingdoms of Canaan—

¹² and gave their land for a heritage, a heritage to Israel, his people.

³ Praise ye the Lord, for the Lord is good; sing ye to his name, for it is sweet.

⁴ For the Lord chose Jacob to him-self; and Israel into possession to himself.

⁵ For I have known, that the Lord is great; and our God before all gods.

⁶ The Lord made all things, what-ever things he would, in heaven and in earth; in the sea, and in all depths of waters.

⁷ He led out clouds from the farthest part of the earth; and made light-nings into rain. Which bringeth forth winds from his treasures or treasuries;

⁸ which killed the first begotten things of Egypt, from man unto beast.

He bringeth forth the wind out of his treasuries, or out of his storehouses.)

³ Praise ye Jah! for Jehovah is good, Sing praise to His name, for it is pleasant.

⁴ For Jacob hath Jah chosen for Himself, Israel for His peculiar treasure.

⁵ For I have known that great is Jehovah, Yea, our Lord is above all gods.

⁶ All that Jehovah pleased He hath done, In the heavens and in earth, In the seas and all deep places,

⁷ Causing vapours to ascend from the end of the earth, Lightnings for the rain He hath made, Bringing forth wind from His treasures.
