¹ Praise ye Jehovah. Praise ye the name of Jehovah; Praise him, O ye servants of Jehovah,

² Ye that stand in the house of Jehovah, In the courts of the house of our God.

³ Praise ye Jehovah; for Jehovah is good: Sing praises unto his name; for it is pleasant.

⁴ For Jehovah hath chosen Jacob unto himself, And Israel for his own possession.

⁵ For I know that Jehovah is great, And that our Lord is above all gods.

⁶ Whatsoever Jehovah pleased, that hath he done, In heaven and in earth, in the seas and in all deeps;

⁷ Who causeth the vapors to ascend from the ends of the earth; Who maketh lightnings for the rain; Who bringeth forth the wind out of his treasuries;

² Give thanks to the God of gods: for his mercy endures for ever.

² You who stand in the temple of Yahweh our God and in the surrounding courtyard, praise him MTY!

³ Praise Yahweh, because he does good things for us; sing to him MTY, because he is kind to us.

⁴ He has chosen us, the descendants of Jacob; he has chosen us Israelis to belong to him DOU.

⁵ I know that Yahweh is great; he is greater than all the gods.

⁶ Yahweh does whatever he desires to do, in heaven and on the earth and in the seas/oceans, down to the bottom of the seas.

⁷ He is the one who causes clouds to appear from very distant places on the earth; he sends lightning with the rain, and he brings the winds from the places where he stores them.

² You who are in the house of the Lord, and in the open spaces of the house of our God,

³ Give praise to Jah, for he is good: make melody to his name, for it is pleasing.

⁴ For the Lord has taken Jacob for himself, and Israel for his property.

⁵ I know that the Lord is great, and that our Lord is greater than all other gods.

⁶ The Lord has done whatever was pleasing to him, in heaven, and on the earth, in the seas and in all the deep waters.

⁷ He makes the mists go up from the ends of the earth; he makes thunder-flames for the rain; he sends out the winds from his store-houses.

⁷ Who made the great lights: for his mercy endureth for ever.

¹ Praise the Lord! Praise the Lord's reputation! Praise the Lord, all you servants of the Lord

² who worship in the house of the Lord, in the courts of our God.

³ Praise the Lord, for the Lord is good; sing praises to his character because it is wonderful!

⁴ For the Lord has chosen Jacob for himself; Israel as his very own.

⁵ I know how great the Lord is—our Lord is greater than all gods.

⁶ The Lord does whatever he wants throughout heaven and earth, on the seas and in the ocean depths.

⁷ He causes the clouds to rise all over the earth, he makes lightning flash and give rain, he sends the winds from his storehouses.

¹ Praise ye the Lord. Praise the Name of the Lord: ye seruants of the Lord, praise him.

² Ye that stande in the House of the Lord, and in the courtes of the House of our God,

³ Praise ye the Lord: for the Lord is good: sing praises vnto his Name: for it is a comely thing.

⁴ For the Lord hath chosen Iaakob to himselfe, and Israel for his chiefe treasure.

⁵ For I know that the Lord is great, and that our Lord is aboue all gods.

⁶ Whatsoeuer pleased the Lord, that did hee in heauen and in earth, in the sea, and in all the depths.

⁷ He bringeth vp the cloudes from the ends of the earth, and maketh the lightnings with ye raine: he draweth foorth the winde out of his treasures.

⁷ Clouds he brings up from the ends of the earth, lightnings he makes for the rain, wind he brings out of his storehouses.

⁴ For the Lord chose Jacob to him-self; and Israel into possession to himself.

⁵ For I have known, that the Lord is great; and our God before all gods.

⁶ The Lord made all things, what-ever things he would, in heaven and in earth; in the sea, and in all depths of waters.

⁷ He led out clouds from the farthest part of the earth; and made light-nings into rain. Which bringeth forth winds from his treasures or treasuries;

¹ Alleluia. Praise ye the name of the Lord; ye servants of the Lord, praise ye (him).

² Ye that stand in the house of the Lord; in the halls/in the foreyards of the house of our God. (Ye who stand in the House of the Lord; in the courtyards of the House of our God.)

³ Praise ye the Lord, for the Lord is good; sing ye to his name, for it is sweet (or for it is pleasant to do so).

⁴ For the Lord chose Jacob to himself; and Israel into possession to himself. (For the Lord chose Jacob for himself; yea, he chose Israel as his special possession.)

⁵ For I have known, that the Lord is great; and our God (is) before all gods. (For I know that the Lord is great; and that our God is above all gods.)

⁶ The Lord made all things, whatever things he would, in heaven and in earth; in the sea, and in all depths of waters. (The Lord made everything, whatever he desired, in heaven and on earth; in the sea, and in all the depths of the waters.)

⁷ He led out clouds from the farthest part of earth; and made lightnings into rain. Which bringeth forth winds from his treasures; (He leadeth out the clouds from the farthest parts of the earth; and maketh lightning for the rains. He bringeth forth the wind out of his treasuries, or out of his storehouses.)

¹ Praise ye Jah! Praise ye the name of Jehovah, Praise, ye servants of Jehovah,

² Who are standing in the house of Jehovah, In the courts of the house of our God.

³ Praise ye Jah! for Jehovah is good, Sing praise to His name, for it is pleasant.

⁴ For Jacob hath Jah chosen for Himself, Israel for His peculiar treasure.

⁵ For I have known that great is Jehovah, Yea, our Lord is above all gods.

⁶ All that Jehovah pleased He hath done, In the heavens and in earth, In the seas and all deep places,

⁷ Causing vapours to ascend from the end of the earth, Lightnings for the rain He hath made, Bringing forth wind from His treasures.
