⁵ I wait for Jehovah, my soul doth wait, And in his word do I hope.

⁶ My soul waiteth for the Lord More than watchmen wait for the morning; Yea, more than watchmen for the morning.

⁷ O Israel, hope in Jehovah; For with Jehovah there is lovingkindness, And with him is plenteous redemption.

⁸ And he will redeem Israel From all his iniquities.

⁵ I wait for the LORD, my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope.

⁶ My soul waiteth for the Lord more than they that watch for the morning: I say, more than they that watch for the morning.

⁷ Let Israel hope in the LORD: for with the LORD there is mercy, and with him is plenteous redemption.

⁸ And he shall redeem Israel from all his iniquities.

⁵ Yahweh has said that he would help/rescue me; I trust what he said, and I wait eagerly for him to do that.

⁶ I wait for Yahweh to help me more than watchmen wait for the light to dawn; yes, I wait more eagerly than they do!

⁷ You my fellow Israelis, confidently expect that Yahweh will bless us. He will bless us because he faithfully loves us, and he is very willing to save/rescue us.

⁸ And he will save us Israeli people from being punished for all the sins that we have committed.

⁵ I wait for Yahweh. My soul waits. I hope in his word.

⁶ I long for the Lord to come, more than watchmen longing for the dawn to come, more than watchmen longing for the dawn to come.

⁷ Israel, put your hope in the Lord, for the Lord loves us with a trustworthy love and his salvation knows no limits.

⁸ He will save Israel from every sin.

⁸ And he shall again-buy Israel; from all the wickednesses thereof.

⁵ and, Lord, for thy law I abode thee. My soul sustained in his word; (yea, Lord, I wait for thee. My soul is sustained, and I hope, and I trust, in his word.)

⁶ my soul hoped in the Lord. From the morrowtide keeping till to the night; (My soul waiteth for the Lord, more eagerly than those who wait for the morning light; yea, more eagerly than those who stand guard, or be on watch, until the morning light.)

⁷ Israel hope in the Lord. For why mercy is at the Lord; and plenteous redemption is at him. (Israel, trust in the Lord. For there is always love with the Lord; and there is plentiful redemption with him.)

⁸ And he shall again-buy Israel; from all the wickednesses thereof. (And he shall redeem the people of Israel; from all their wickednesses.)

⁵ I hoped for Jehovah — hoped hath my soul, And for His word I have waited.

⁶ My soul is for the Lord, More than those watching for morning, Watching for morning!

⁷ Israel doth wait on Jehovah, For with Jehovah is kindness, And abundant with Him is redemption.
