² Our feet are standing Within thy gates, O Jerusalem,

³ Jerusalem, that art builded As a city that is compact together;

⁴ Whither the tribes go up, even the tribes of Jehovah, For an ordinance for Israel, To give thanks unto the name of Jehovah.

⁵ For there are set thrones for judgment, The thrones of the house of David.

⁶ Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: They shall prosper that love thee.

² Behold, as the eyes of servants are directed to the hands of their masters, and as the eyes of a maid-servant to the hands of her mistress; so our eyes are directed to the Lord our God, until he have mercy upon us.

³ Have pity upon us, O Lord, have pity upon us: for we are exceedingly filled with contempt.

⁴ Yea, our soul has been exceedingly filled with it: let the reproach be to them that are at ease, and contempt to the proud.

² Our feet shall stand within thy gates, O Jerusalem.

² And now we are here, standing inside the gates/city of APO Jerusalem.

³ Jerusalem is a city that has been rebuilt, with the result that people can gather together in it.

⁴ We people of the tribes of Israel who belong to Yahweh can now go up there as Yahweh commanded that we should do, and we can thank him.

⁵ There the kings of Israel who were descendants of King David sit on their thrones and decide cases fairly when the people have disputes.

⁶ Pray that there will be peace in Jerusalem; I desire that those who love Jerusalem will ◄prosper/live peacefully►.

² At last our feet were inside your doors, O Jerusalem.

³ O Jerusalem, you are like a town which is well joined together;

⁴ To which the tribes went up, even the tribes of the Lord, for a witness to Israel, to give praise to the name of the Lord.

⁵ For there seats for the judges were placed, even the rulers' seats of the line of David.

⁶ O make prayers for the peace of Jerusalem; may they whose love is given to you do well.

³ Jerusalem, which art built as a city that is compact together,

⁴ Whither the tribes go up, the tribes of Jah, a testimony to Israel, to give thanks unto the name of Jehovah.

⁵ For there are set thrones for judgment, the thrones of the house of David.

⁶ Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee.

² Behold as the eyes of the servants are on the hands of their masters, As the eyes of the handmaid are on the hands of her mistress: so are our eyes unto the Lord our God, until he have mercy on us.

³ Have mercy on us, O Lord, have mercy on us: for we are greatly filled with contempt.

⁴ For our soul is greatly filled: we are a reproach to the rich, and contempt to the proud.

² Now we're standing inside your gates, Jerusalem!

³ Jerusalem is built as a city where people can be together.

⁴ All the tribes—the tribes of the Lord—go up there, following the command given to Israel to give thanks to the Lord.

⁵ This is where the thrones are placed, where judgment is given, the thrones of the house of David.

⁶ Pray that Jerusalem may be at peace. May everyone who loves Jerusalem be kept safe.

⁴ Whereunto the Tribes, euen the Tribes of the Lord go vp according to the testimonie to Israel, to prayse the Name of the Lord.

⁵ For there are thrones set for iudgement, euen the thrones of the house of Dauid.

⁴ For thither go up the tribes of the Lord, as a testimony for Israel, to give thanks unto the name of the Lord.

⁵ For there are placed chairs for giving judgment, the chairs for the house of David.—

⁶ Pray ye for the peace of Jerusalem; may those that love thee prosper.

⁴ Thither the tribes go up, The tribes of the LORD, according to the law of Israel, To praise the name of the LORD.

⁵ There stand the thrones of judgment, The thrones of the house of David.

⁶ Pray for the peace of Jerusalem! May they prosper who love thee!

² Now we are standing, within your gates, O Jerusalem.

³ O Jerusalem, built close-packed, like a city without breach or gap,

⁴ to you do the tribes come, the tribes of the Lord, as the law has ordained for Israel, there to give thanks to the Lord.

⁵ There once stood thrones of justice even thrones of the household of David.

⁶ Pray that all may be well with Jerusalem, and well with those who love you,

² Now we are standing, within your gates, O Jerusalem.

³ O Jerusalem, built close-packed, like a city without breach or gap,

⁴ to you do the tribes come, the tribes of the Lord, as the law has ordained for Israel, there to give thanks to the Lord.

⁵ There once stood thrones of justice even thrones of the household of David.

⁶ Pray that all may be well with Jerusalem, and well with those who love you,

² Our feet are standing within your gates, Jerusalem City of peace;

³ Jerusalem City of peace, that is built as a city that is compact together;

⁴ where the tribes go up, even Yah’s tribes, according to a testimony for Israel God prevails, yadah ·extend hands in thankful praise· to Adonai ’s name.

² Jerusalem, our feet are standing within your gates!

³ Jerusalem, built as a city carefully planned!

⁴ The tribes go up to Jerusalem—the tribes of Yahweh— as a testimony for Israel, to give thanks to the name of Yahweh.

⁵ There thrones of judgment were set, thrones of the house of David.

³ Jerusalem, which is builded as a city; whose partaking thereof is into the same thing.

⁴ For the lineages, the lineages of the Lord, ascended or went up thither, the witnessing of Israel; to acknowl-edge to the name of the Lord.

⁵ For they sat there on seats in doom; seats on the house of David.

⁶ Pray ye those things, that be to the peace of Jerusalem; and abundance be to them that love thee.

² Our feet were standing; in thy halls/in thy foreyards, thou Jerusalem. (And now our feet stand within thy gates, O Jerusalem.)

³ Jerusalem, which is builded as a city; whose partaking thereof is into the same thing. (Jerusalem is built to be a city, where people be together, yea, with one heart and mind.)

⁴ For the lineages, the lineages of the Lord, ascended thither, the witnessing of Israel; to acknowledge to the name of the Lord. (For the tribes, the Lord’s tribes, come there to give thanks to the Lord; that is Israel’s duty.)

⁵ For they sat there on seats in doom; seats on the house of David. (For the thrones of judgement, or of justice, be put there; yea, the thrones of the house of David.)

⁶ Pray ye those things, that be to the peace of Jerusalem; and abundance be to them that love thee. (Pray ye for the peace of Jerusalem; and say, May those who love thee prosper, or have great abundance.)

² Our feet have been standing in thy gates, O Jerusalem!

³ Jerusalem — the builded one — Is as a city that is joined to itself together.

⁴ For thither have tribes gone up, Tribes of Jah, companies of Israel, To give thanks to the name of Jehovah.

⁵ For there have sat thrones of judgment, Thrones of the house of David.

⁶ Ask ye the peace of Jerusalem, At rest are those loving thee.
