³ He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: He that keepeth thee will not slumber.

⁴ Behold, he that keepeth Israel Will neither slumber nor sleep.

⁵ Jehovah is thy keeper: Jehovah is thy shade upon thy right hand.

⁶ The sun shall not smite thee by day, Nor the moon by night.

⁷ Jehovah will keep thee from all evil; He will keep thy soul.

⁸ Jehovah will keep thy going out and thy coming in From this time forth and for evermore.

³ Jerusalem is built as a city whose fellowship is complete.

⁴ For thither the tribes went up, the tribes of the Lord, as a testimony for Israel, to give thanks unto the name of the Lord.

⁵ For there are set thrones for judgment, even thrones for the house of David.

⁶ Pray now for the peace of Jerusalem: and let there be prosperity to them that love thee.

⁷ Let peace, I pray, be within thine host, and prosperity in thy palaces.

⁸ For the sake of my brethren and my neighbours, I have indeed spoken peace concerning thee.

⁴ The one who protects us Israeli people never gets sleepy, nor does he sleep LIT.

⁵ Yahweh watches over us; he is like the shade MET that protects us from the sun.

⁶ He will not allow the sun to harm us during the day, and he will not allow the moon to harm us during the night.

⁷ Yahweh will protect us from being harmed in any manner; he will keep us safe.

⁸ He will protect us from the time that we leave our houses in the morning until we return in the evening; he will protect us now, and he will protect us forever.

⁵ Because their seats have sat in judgment, seats upon the house of David.

⁶ Pray ye for the things that are for the peace of Jerusalem: and abundance for them that love thee.

⁷ Let peace be in thy strength: and abundance in thy towers.

⁸ For the sake of my brethren, and of my neighbours, I spoke peace of thee.

³ He will not let you fall; he who watches over you won't fall asleep.

⁴ In fact he who watches over you doesn't take naps or fall asleep.

⁵ The Lord keeps watch over you; the Lord protects you; he stands right beside you.

⁶ The sun won't hurt you during the day, nor the moon at night.

⁷ The Lord will protect you from all kinds of evil; he will keep you safe and sound.

⁸ The Lord will look after you when you leave, and when you return, now and forever.

⁴ Lo! he shall not nap, neither sleep; that keepeth Israel. (Behold! he, who keepeth Israel safe; shall not nap, or sleep.)

⁵ The Lord keepeth thee; the Lord is thy protection above thy right hand. (The Lord keepeth thee safe; the Lord is thy protection at thy right hand.)

⁶ The sun shall not burn thee by day; neither the moon by night.

⁷ The Lord keep thee from all evil; the Lord keep thy soul. (The Lord shall keep thee safe from all evil; yea, the Lord shall keep thee safe.)

⁸ The Lord keep thy going in and thy going out; from this time now and into the world. (The Lord shall guard thy coming in, and thy going out; from this time now, and forever.)

³ He suffereth not thy foot to be moved, Thy preserver slumbereth not.

⁴ Lo, He slumbereth not, nor sleepeth, He who is preserving Israel.

⁵ Jehovah is thy preserver, Jehovah is thy shade on thy right hand,
