² Deliver my soul, O Jehovah, from lying lips, And from a deceitful tongue.

³ What shall be given unto thee, and what shall be done more unto thee, Thou deceitful tongue?

⁴ Sharp arrows of the mighty, With coals of juniper.

⁵ Woe is me, that I sojourn in Meshech, That I dwell among the tents of Kedar!

⁶ My soul hath long had her dwelling With him that hateth peace.

⁷ I am for peace: But when I speak, they are for war.

² My help shall come from the Lord, who made the heaven and the earth.

³ Let not thy foot be moved; and let not thy keeper slumber.

⁴ Behold, he that keeps Israel shall not slumber nor sleep.

⁵ The Lord shall keep thee: the Lord is thy shelter upon thy right hand.

⁶ The sun shall not burn thee by day, neither the moon by night.

⁷ May the Lord preserve thee from all evil: the Lord shall keep thy soul.

² I prayed, “Yahweh, rescue/save me from people SYN, MTY who lie to me and try to deceive me!”

³ You people who lie to me, I will tell you RHQ what God will do to you and what he will do to punish you.

⁴ He will shoot sharp arrows at you like soldiers do, and he will burn you with red-hot coals from the wood of a broom tree.

⁵ It is terrible for me, living among cruel/savage DOU people like those who live in Meshech region and Kedar region.

⁶ I have lived for a long time among people who hate to live with others peacefully.

⁷ Every time I talk about living together peacefully, they talk about starting a war.

² My help shall come from the Lord, who made the heaven and the earth.

² O Lord, be the saviour of my soul from false lips, and from the tongue of deceit.

³ What punishment will he give you? what more will he do to you, you false tongue?

⁴ Sharp arrows of the strong, and burning fire.

⁵ Sorrow is mine because I am strange in Meshech, and living in the tents of Kedar.

⁶ My soul has long been living with the haters of peace.

⁷ I am for peace: but when I say so, they are for war.

² Jehovah, deliver my soul from the lying lip, from the deceitful tongue.

³ What shall be given unto thee, what shall be added unto thee, thou deceitful tongue?

⁴ Sharp arrows of a mighty one, with burning coals of broom-wood.

⁵ Woe is me, that I sojourn in Meshech, that I dwell among the tents of Kedar!

⁶ My soul hath long dwelt with them that hate peace.

⁷ I am for peace; but when I speak, they are for war.

² My help is from the Lord, who made heaven and earth.

³ May he not suffer thy foot to be moved: neither let him slumber that keepeth thee.

⁴ Behold he shall neither slumber nor sleep, that keepeth Israel.

⁵ The Lord is thy keeper, the Lord is thy protection upon thy right hand.

⁶ The sun shall not burn thee by day: nor the moon by night.

⁷ The Lord keepeth thee from all evil: may the Lord keep thy soul.

² Lord, please save me from liars and cheats!

³ What will the Lord do to you, you liars? How will he punish you?

⁴ With the sharp arrows of a warrior and burning coals made from a broom tree.

⁵ I'm sorry for myself, because I live as a foreigner in Meshech, or among the tent-dwellers of Kedar.

⁶ I have lived for far too long among people who hate peace.

⁷ I want peace, but when I talk of peace, they want war.

² Deliuer my soule, O Lord, from lying lippes, and from a deceitfull tongue.

³ What doeth thy deceitfull tongue bring vnto thee? or what doeth it auaile thee?

⁴ It is as the sharpe arrowes of a mightie man, and as the coales of iuniper.

⁵ Woe is to me that I remaine in Meschech, and dwell in the tentes of Kedar.

⁶ My soule hath too long dwelt with him that hateth peace.

⁷ I seeke peace, and when I speake thereof, they are bent to warre.

² O LORD, deliver my soul from lying lips, from a deceitful tongue.

³ What shall be given unto thee, and what shall be done more unto thee, thou deceitful tongue?

⁴ Sharp arrows of the mighty, with coals of broom.

⁵ Woe is me, that I sojourn with Meshech, that I dwell beside the tents of Kedar!

⁶ My soul hath full long had her dwelling with him that hateth peace.

⁷ I am all peace; but when I speak, they are for war.

² Deliver my soul, O Lord, from lying lips, And from a deceitful tongue.

³ What shall be given unto thee? or what shall be done unto thee, Thou false tongue?

³ What will God give unto thee? or what will he add unto thee, thou tongue of deceit?

⁶ Too long for herself hath my soul dwelt with him that hateth peace.

⁷ I am for peace; but when I speak, they are for war.

² My help shall come from the Lord, Who made the heaven and the earth.

⁶ Too long have I dwelt With them that hate peace!

⁷ I am for peace; yet, when I speak for it, They are for war.

² “Deliver me, Lord, from the lip that is false and the tongue that is crafty.”

³ What shall he give to you, you tongue that is crafty? What yet shall he give to you?

⁴ Arrows of warrior, sharpened, with glowing broom coals together.

⁵ Woe is me that I sojourn in Meshech, that I live by the tents of Kedar.

⁶ Already too long have I dwelt amongst those who hate peace.

⁷ I am for peace: but when I speak of it, they are for war.

² “Deliver me, Lord, from the lip that is false and the tongue that is crafty.”

³ What shall he give to you, you tongue that is crafty? What yet shall he give to you?

⁴ Arrows of warrior, sharpened, with glowing broom coals together.

⁵ Woe is me that I sojourn in Meshech, that I live by the tents of Kedar.

⁶ Already too long have I dwelt among those who hate peace.

⁷ I am for peace: but when I speak of it, they are for war.

² Deliver my soul, Adonai , from lying lips, from a deceitful tongue.

³ What will be given to you, and what will be done more to you, you deceitful tongue?

⁴ Sharp arrows of the mighty, with coals of juniper.

⁵ Woe is me, that I live in Meshech, that I dwell among the tents of Kedar!

⁶ My soul has had her dwelling too long with him who hates peace.

² Rescue my life, Yahweh, from those who lie with their lips and deceive with their tongues.

³ How will he punish you, and what more will he do to you, you who have a lying tongue?

⁴ He will punish you with the arrows of a warrior sharpened over burning coals of the broom tree.

⁵ Woe is me because I temporarily live in Meshech; I lived previously among the tents of Kedar.

⁶ For too long I have lived with those who hate peace.

² Lord, deliver thou my soul from wicked lips; and from a guileful tongue.

³ What shall be given to thee, either what shall be laid to thee; to a guileful or treacherous tongue?

⁴ Sharp arrows of the mighty; with coals that make desolate.

⁵ Alas to me! for my dwelling in an alien land is made long, I dwelled with men dwelling in Kedar;

⁶ my soul was much time a come-ling. I was peaceable with them that hated peace;

⁷ when I spake to them, they impugned, either against-said, me with-out cause.

² Lord, deliver thou my soul from wicked lips; and from a guileful tongue. (Lord, save thou me from wicked lips; and from a deceitful tongue.)

³ What shall be given to thee, either what shall be laid to thee; to a guileful tongue? (What shall be given to thee; that is, how shall he punish thee, O deceitful tongue?)

⁴ Sharp arrows of the mighty; with coals that make desolate. (With sharp arrows from the mighty; and with coals that shall make thee desolate.)

⁵ Alas to me! for my dwelling in an alien land is made long, I dwelled with men dwelling in Kedar; (Alas for me! for my stay here in Mesech is prolonged, and I must live among the people, (or in the tents), of Kedar!)

⁶ my soul was much (time) a comeling. I was peaceable with them that hated peace; (I am here too long as a newcomer, or a stranger; yea, too long living with those who hate peace.)

⁷ when I spake to them, they impugned, either against-said, me without cause. (I am for peace; but whenever I speak of it to them, they be for war.)

² O Jehovah, deliver my soul from a lying lip, From a deceitful tongue!

³ What doth He give to thee? And what doth He add to thee? O deceitful tongue!

⁴ Sharp arrows of a mighty one, with broom-coals.

⁵ Woe to me, for I have inhabited Mesech, I have dwelt with tents of Kedar.

⁶ Too much hath my soul dwelt with him who is hating peace.

⁷ I am peace, and when I speak they are for war!
