⁵⁹ I thought on my ways, And turned my feet unto thy testimonies.

⁶⁰ I made haste, and delayed not, To observe thy commandments.

⁶¹ The cords of the wicked have wrapped me round; But I have not forgotten thy law.

⁶² At midnight I will rise to give thanks unto thee Because of thy righteous ordinances.

⁶³ I am a companion of all them that fear thee, And of them that observe thy precepts.

⁶⁴ The earth, O Jehovah, is full of thy lovingkindness: Teach me thy statutes.

⁶⁵ Thou hast dealt well with thy servant, O Jehovah, according unto thy word.

⁶⁶ Teach me good judgment and knowledge; For I have believed in thy commandments.

⁶⁷ Before I was afflicted I went astray; But now I observe thy word.

⁶⁸ Thou art good, and doest good; Teach me thy statutes.

⁶⁹ The proud have forged a lie against me: With my whole heart will I keep thy precepts.

⁷⁰ Their heart is as fat as grease; But I delight in thy law.

⁷¹ It is good for me that I have been afflicted; That I may learn thy statutes.

⁷² The law of thy mouth is better unto me Than thousands of gold and silver.

⁷³ Thy hands have made me and fashioned me: Give me understanding, that I may learn thy commandments.

⁷⁴ They that fear thee shall see me and be glad, Because I have hoped in thy word.

⁷⁵ I know, O Jehovah, that thy judgments are righteous, And that in faithfulness thou hast afflicted me.

⁷⁷ Let thy tender mercies come unto me, that I may live; For thy law is my delight.

⁷⁸ Let the proud be put to shame; for they have overthrown me wrongfully: But I will meditate on thy precepts.

⁸⁰ Let my heart be perfect in thy statutes, That I be not put to shame.

⁶¹ Wicked people have tried to seize me, like a hunter tries to catch an animal with a net MET, but I do not forget your laws.

⁶² In the middle of the night I wake up, and I praise you for ◄your commands/the rules that you have given us to do►; they are fair/just.

⁶³ I am a friend of all those who revere you, those who obey ◄your principles of behavior/what you have declared that we should do►.

⁶⁴ Yahweh, you faithfully/always love people all over the earth; teach me ◄your statutes/what you have decreed that we should do►.

⁶⁵ Yahweh, you have done good things for me, like you promised/said that you would do.

⁶⁶ Teach me to think carefully before I decide what to do, and teach me other things that I need to know, because I believe that it is good for us to obey ◄your commands/what you have commanded►.

⁶⁷ Before you afflicted/punished me, I did things that were wrong, but now I obey ◄your words/what you have told us to do►.

⁶⁸ You are very good, and what you do is good; teach me ◄your statutes/what you have decreed that we should do►.

⁶⁹ Proud people have told many lies about me, but the truth is that with all my inner being I obey ◄your principles of behavior/what you have declared that we should do►.

⁷⁰ Those proud people ◄are stupid/do not understand your laws► IDM, but as for me, I am delighted with your laws.

⁷¹ It was good for me that you afflicted/punished me, because the result was that I learned ◄your statutes/what you have decreed that we should do►.

⁷² The laws that you MTY gave/told to us are worth more to me than gold, more than thousands of pieces of gold and silver.

⁷³ You created me and formed my body (OR, kept me safe); help me to be wise in order that I may learn ◄your commands/what you have commanded►.

⁷⁴ Those who have an awesome respect for you will see what you have done for me, and they will rejoice, because they will see that I have trusted in ◄your words/what you told us►.

⁷⁵ Yahweh, I know that ◄your regulations/the rules that you have given to us► are right/fair and that you have afflicted/punished me because you faithfully do what you have promised.

⁷⁶ Cause me to be comforted/encouraged by knowing that you faithfully love me, like you said to me that you would do.

⁷⁷ Be merciful to me in order that I may continue to live, because I am delighted with your laws.

⁷⁸ Cause the proud people who falsely accuse me to be ashamed, but as for me, I will continue ◄meditating on/thinking about► ◄your principles of behavior/what you have declared that we should do►.

⁷⁹ Cause those who revere you to come back to me in order that they may (OR, specifically, those who) know ◄your requirements/what you have instructed us to do►.

⁸⁰ Enable me to perfectly obey ◄your statutes/what you have decreed that we should do► in order that I may not be ashamed because of not doing that.

⁸¹ I am very tired/exhausted while I wait for you to save me from my enemies; but I confidently expect that you will tell me what you will do.

⁸² My eyes are tired from waiting a long time for you to do what you promised/said that you would do, and I ask, “When will you help/encourage me?”

⁸³ I have become as useless as MET a wineskin that is shriveled from hanging a long time in the smoke inside a house, but I have not forgotten ◄your statutes/what you have decreed that we should do►.

⁸⁴ How long must I wait? When will you punish those who ◄persecute/cause trouble for► me?

⁸⁵ It is as though proud people have dug deep pits for me to fall into, people who do not obey your laws.

⁵⁹ I considered my ways, and turned my steps to your statutes.

⁶⁰ I will hurry, and not delay, to obey your commandments.

⁶¹ The ropes of the wicked bind me, but I won’t forget your law.

⁶⁴ Lord, you love everyone on earth; please teach me what to do.

⁶⁵ Teth Lord, you have been so good to me, your servant, as you have promised.

⁶⁶ Now teach me wise judgment and discernment because I believe in your instructions.

⁶⁷ Previously I was suffering, wandering away from you, but now I do what you say.

⁶⁸ Since you are good, everything you do is good. Teach me your ways.

⁶⁹ Arrogant people smear my reputation with lies; but I whole-heartedly follow your commands.

⁷⁰ They are cold and unfeeling, but I love your law.

⁷¹ The suffering I went through was good for me, so I could think about what you have stipulated.

⁷² What you tell me to do is worth more to me than much gold and silver.

⁷³ Yodh You created me and made me what I am; help me to learn and better understand your commandments.

⁷⁴ May those who worship you be happy when they see me, for I place my confidence in your word.

⁷⁵ Lord, I know that what you decide is right; you brought me down in order to help me because you are trustworthy.

⁷⁶ May your trustworthy love comfort me as your promised me, your servant.

⁷⁷ Be compassionate to me so I may live, for I love your teachings.

⁷⁸ Bring down those proud people who wronged me with their lies. I will spend time thinking about your instructions.

⁸⁰ May I be innocent in the way I keep your rules so that I won't be ashamed.

⁶¹ The bands of the wicked have robbed me: but I have not forgotten thy law.

⁶² At midnight I will rise to give thanks to thee, because of thy righteous judgments.

⁶³ I am a companion of all them that fear thee, and of them that keep thy precepts.

⁵⁹ I bethought (on) my ways; and I turned my feet into thy witnessings. (I thought about my ways; and I have turned my feet to follow thy teachings.)

⁶⁰ I am ready, and I am not troubled; to keep thy commandments. (I am ready, and I have not delayed, to obey thy commandments.)

⁶¹ The cords of sinners have embraced me; and I have not forgotten thy law. (The cords of the sinners have entangled me; but I have not forgotten thy Law.)

⁶² At midnight, I rose to acknowledge to thee; on the dooms of thy justifyings. (At midnight, I rise to give thee thanks or I rise to give thee praise; for all thy righteous judgements.)

⁶³ I am partner of all that dread thee; and keep thy behests. (I am a partner of all who fear thee or I am a friend of all who revere thee; of all who obey thy precepts.)

⁶⁴ Lord, the earth is full of thy mercy; teach thou me thy justifyings. (Lord, the earth is full of thy love; teach thou me thy statutes.)

⁶⁵ Teth. Lord, thou hast done goodness with thy servant; by thy word. (Lord, thou hast been kind to thy servant; yea, according to thy word.)

⁶⁶ Teach thou me goodness, and lore, either chastising, and knowing; for I believed to thy behests. (Teach thou me goodness, and knowledge, or discipline; for I trust in thy commandments.)

⁶⁷ Before that I was made meek, I trespassed; therefore I kept thy speech. (Before that I was punished, I trespassed; but thereafter, I have obeyed thy word.)

⁶⁸ Thou art good; and in thy goodness teach thou me thy justifyings. (Thou art good, and thou doest good; teach thou me thy statutes.)

⁶⁹ The wickedness of them that be proud, is multiplied on me; but in all mine heart I shall seek thy behests. (The wicked lies of them, who be proud, be multiplied against me; but I shall follow thy precepts with all my heart.)

⁷⁰ The heart of them is crudded, either made hard, as milk; but I bethought (on) thy law. (Their hearts be like curdled milk; but I delight in thy Law.)

⁷¹ It is good to me, that thou hast made me meek; that I learn thy justifyings. (It was good for me, that thou hast punished me; so that I would learn thy statutes.)

⁷² The law (out) of thy mouth is better to me; than thousands of gold and silver. (The Law from thy mouth meaneth more to me or is more valuable to me, than a fortune in gold and silver.)

⁷³ Jod. Thine hands made me, and formed me; give thou understanding to me, that I learn thy behests. (Thy hands made me, and formed me; now give thou me understanding, so that I can learn thy commandments.)

⁷⁴ They that dread thee shall see me, and they shall be glad; for I hoped more on thy words. (They who fear thee or They who revere thee, shall be glad when they see me; for I trust in thy words.)
