⁴³ And take not the word of truth utterly out of my mouth; For I have hoped in thine ordinances.

⁴⁴ So shall I observe thy law continually For ever and ever.

⁴⁵ And I shall walk at liberty; For I have sought thy precepts.

⁴⁶ I will also speak of thy testimonies before kings, And shall not be put to shame.

⁴⁷ And I will delight myself in thy commandments, Which I have loved.

⁴⁸ I will lift up my hands also unto thy commandments, which I have loved; And I will meditate on thy statutes.

⁴⁹ Remember the word unto thy servant, Because thou hast made me to hope.

⁵⁰ This is my comfort in my affliction; For thy word hath quickened me.

⁵¹ The proud have had me greatly in derision: Yet have I not swerved from thy law.

⁵² I have remembered thine ordinances of old, O Jehovah, And have comforted myself.

⁴⁸ I respect/revere IDM ◄your commands/what you have commanded►, and I love them, and I will ◄meditate on/think about► ◄your statutes/what you have decreed that we should do►.

⁴⁹ Do not forget what you said/promised to do for me, who serve you, because what you have said has caused me to confidently expect good things from you.

⁵⁰ When I have been suffering, you comforted me; you did what you promised me, and that PRS revived me.

⁵¹ Proud people are always making fun of me, but I do not ◄turn away from/stop► obeying your laws.

⁵² Yahweh, when I think about ◄your regulations/the rules► that you gave to us long ago, I am comforted/encouraged.

⁵³ When I see that wicked people have disregarded your laws, I become very angry.

⁵⁴ While I have been living here for a short time on the earth, I have written songs about ◄your statutes/what you have decreed that we should do►.

⁵⁵ Yahweh, during the night I think about you MTY, and so I obey your laws.

⁵⁶ What I have always done is to obey ◄your principles of behavior/what you have declared that we should do►.

⁵¹ The men of pride have made great sport of me; but I have not been turned from your law.

⁵² I have kept the memory of your decisions from times past, O Lord; and they have been my comfort.

⁵³ I am burning with wrath, because of the sinners who have given up your law.

⁵⁴ Your rules have been melodies to me, while I have been living in strange lands.

⁵⁵ I have given thought to your name in the night, O Lord, and have kept your law.

⁴⁵ I shall live in freedom, for I have committed myself to obeying you.

⁴⁶ I will instruct kings about your laws—I won't be embarrassed.

⁴⁷ I'm so happy for your instructions. I love them!

⁴⁸ I lift up my hands in prayer, honoring your commandments. I will think deeply about all you say.

⁴⁹ Zayin Remember your promise to me, your servant. It's my only hope.

⁵⁰ This is what brings me encouragement in my misery—your promise keeps me going!

⁵¹ Arrogant people mock me terribly, but I don't give up on your teachings.

⁵² I think about the instructions you gave long ago, Lord, and they reassure me.

⁵³ I am angry with the wicked because they have rejected your law.

⁵⁴ Your instructions have been music to my ears wherever I have lived.

⁵⁵ At night I think about the kind of person you are, Lord, and do what you say.

⁵⁶ For this is how I live my life—by following your principles.

⁴³ And take not the woorde of trueth vtterly out of my mouth: for I waite for thy iudgements.

⁴⁴ So shall I alway keepe thy Lawe for euer and euer.

⁴⁵ And I will walke at libertie: for I seeke thy precepts.

⁴⁶ I will speake also of thy testimonies before Kings, and will not be ashamed.

⁴⁷ And my delite shalbe in thy commandements, which I haue loued.

⁵⁴ Thy statutes have been my songs in the house of my pilgrimage.

⁵⁵ I have remembered thy name, O LORD, in the night, and have kept thy law.

⁵⁶ This I had, because I kept thy precepts.

⁴³ Don’t snatch the word of truth out of my mouth, for I put my hope in your ordinances.

⁴⁴ So I will obey your Torah continually, forever and ever.

⁴⁵ I will walk in liberty, for I have sought your precepts.

⁴⁶ I will also speak of your statutes before kings, and will not be disappointed.

⁴⁷ I will delight myself in your commandments, because I love them.

⁴⁸ I reach out my hands for your commandments, which I love. I will meditate on your statutes.

⁴⁹ ZAYIN Remember your word to your servant, because you gave me hope.

⁵⁰ This is my comfort in my affliction, for your word has revived me.

⁵¹ The arrogant mock me excessively, but I don’t swerve from your Torah.

⁴⁷ And I bethought in thy behests; which I loved.

⁴⁸ And I raised mine hands to thy commandments, which I loved; and I shall be exercised in thy justifyings.

⁴⁹ Zain. Lord, have thou mind on thy word to thy servant; in which word thou hast given hope to me.

⁵⁰ This comforted me in my lowness; for thy word quickened me.

⁵¹ Proud men did wickedly to me by all things; but I bowed not away from thy law.

⁵² Lord, I was mindful of thy dooms from the world; and I was comforted.

⁵³ Failing held me; for sinners for-saking thy law.

⁵⁴ Thy justifyings were delightable to me to be sung; in the place of my pilgrimage.

⁵⁵ Lord, I had mind of thy name by night; and I kept thy law.

⁵⁶ This thing was made to me; for I sought thy justifyings.

⁴³ And take thou not away from my mouth the word of truth utterly; for I hoped above in thy dooms. (And never take away the word of truth from my mouth; for I put my hope in thy judgements, or in thy decrees.)

⁴⁴ And I shall keep thy law evermore; into the world, and into the world of world. (And I shall obey thy Law forevermore; yea, forever and ever.)

⁴⁵ And I went in largeness; for I sought thy commandments. (And I shall walk in freedom; for I have sought out thy commandments.)

⁴⁶ And I spake of thy witnessings in the sight of kings; and I was not shamed. (And I shall speak of thy teachings, or thy commands, before kings; and I shall not be ashamed.)

⁴⁷ And I bethought in thy behests; which I loved. (And I delight myself in thy commandments; which I love.)

⁴⁸ And I raised mine hands to thy commandments, which I loved; and I shall be exercised in thy justifyings. (And I shall raise up my hands to thy commandments, which I love; and I shall think about thy statutes.)

⁴⁹ Zain. Lord, have thou mind on thy word to thy servant, (or Lord, remember thy word to thy servant); in which word thou hast given hope to me.

⁵⁰ This comforted me in my lowness; for thy word quickened me. (This comforted me in my time of trouble; for thy word hath given me life.)

⁵¹ Proud men did wickedly (to me) by all things; but I bowed not away from thy law. (The proud and the boastful have scorned me in all things; but I have not turned away from thy Law.)

⁵² Lord, I was mindful of thy dooms from the world; and I was comforted. (Lord, I remember thy judgements of long ago; and I am comforted.)

⁵³ Failing held me; for sinners forsaking thy law. (Anger taketh hold of me; when I think of the sinners who desert thy Law.)

⁵⁴ Thy justifyings were delightable to me to be sung; in the place of my pilgrimage. (Thy statutes were delightful for me to sing about; here on my pilgrimage.)

⁵⁵ Lord, I had mind of thy name by night; and I kept thy law. (Lord, I remember thy name in the night; and I obey thy Law.)

⁵⁶ This thing was made to me; for I sought thy justifyings. (And this is true of me; that I have kept thy precepts or that I have obeyed thy commands.)

⁴³ And Thou takest not utterly away From my mouth the word of truth, Because for Thy judgment I have hoped.

⁴⁴ And I keep Thy law continually, To the age and for ever.

⁴⁵ And I walk habitually in a broad place, For Thy precepts I have sought.

⁴⁶ And I speak of Thy testimonies before kings, And I am not ashamed.

⁴⁷ And I delight myself in Thy commands, That I have loved,

⁴⁸ And I lift up my hands unto Thy commands, That I have loved, And I do meditate on Thy statutes!

⁴⁹ Zain. Remember the word to Thy servant, On which Thou hast caused me to hope.

⁵⁰ This is my comfort in mine affliction, That Thy saying hath quickened me.

⁵¹ The proud have utterly scorned me, From Thy law I have not turned aside.

⁵² I remembered Thy judgments of old, O Jehovah, And I comfort myself.

⁵³ Horror hath seized me, Because of the wicked forsaking Thy law.

⁵⁴ Songs have been to me Thy statutes, In the house of my sojournings.

⁵⁵ I have remembered in the night Thy name, O Jehovah, And I do keep Thy law.

⁵⁶ This hath been to me, That Thy precepts I have kept!
