³⁹ Turn away my reproach whereof I am afraid; For thine ordinances are good.

⁴⁰ Behold, I have longed after thy precepts: Quicken me in thy righteousness.

⁴¹ Let thy lovingkindnesses also come unto me, O Jehovah, Even thy salvation, according to thy word.

⁴² So shall I have an answer for him that reproacheth me; For I trust in thy word.

⁴³ And take not the word of truth utterly out of my mouth; For I have hoped in thine ordinances.

⁴⁴ So shall I observe thy law continually For ever and ever.

³⁹ Turn away my reproach which I fear: for thy judgments are good.

⁴⁰ I very much desire to obey ◄your principles of behavior/what you have declared that we should do►; because you are righteous, allow me to continue to live (OR, be good to me).

⁴¹ Yahweh, show me that you faithfully love me, and rescue/save me, like you have said/promised that you would.

⁴² After you do that, I will be able to reply to those who insult me, because I trust in ◄your word/what you have promised that you would do►.

⁴³ Always enable me to LIT speak your truth, because I have confidence in ◄your regulations/the rules that you have given us►.

⁴⁴ I will always obey your laws, forever.

⁴³ Take not your true word quite out of my mouth; for I have put my hope in your decisions.

⁴¹ VAU. And let thy loving-kindness come unto me, O Jehovah, — thy salvation according to thy *word.

⁴² So shall I have wherewith to answer him that reproacheth me; for I confide in thy word.

⁴³ And take not the word of truth utterly out of my mouth; because I have hoped in thy judgments.

⁴⁴ Then will I keep thy law continually, for ever and ever;

³⁹ Take away the shame I dread, for your law is good.

⁴⁰ I always want to do what you say. Please let me live, for you do what is right.

⁴¹ Waw Lord, please love me with your trustworthy love; please give me the salvation you promised.

⁴² Then I can reply to those who mock me, for I trust what you say.

⁴³ Don't ever prevent me from being able to speak your words of truth, for I place my complete confidence in your just judgments.

⁴⁴ I will continue to follow your teachings, forever and ever.

³⁹ Take away my rebuke that I feare: for thy iudgements are good.

⁴⁰ Beholde, I desire thy commandements: quicken me in thy righteousnesse,

⁴¹ VAV. And let thy louing kindnesse come vnto me, O Lord, and thy saluation according to thy promise.

⁴² So shall I make answere vnto my blasphemers: for I trust in thy woorde.

⁴³ And take not the woorde of trueth vtterly out of my mouth: for I waite for thy iudgements.

⁴⁴ So shall I alway keepe thy Lawe for euer and euer.

³⁹ Turn away my reproach which I dread; for Thine ordinances are good.

⁴¹ Visit me, Lord, with your love and salvation, as you have promised.

⁴² So shall I answer my slanderers, for my trust is in your word.

⁴³ Snatch not from my mouth the word of truth, for in your judgements I hope.

⁴⁴ I will keep your law continually, for ever and evermore.

³⁹ Remove the reproach which I dread, because your judgments are good.

⁴² then I will have a reply for the one who mocks me, for I trust in your word.

⁴⁰ Lo! I coveted thy commandments; quicken thou me in thine equity.

⁴¹ Vau. And, Lord, thy mercy come up on me; thine health come by thy speech.

⁴² And I shall answer a word to men saying shame to me; for I hoped in thy words.

⁴³ And take thou not away from my mouth the word of truth utterly; for I hoped above in thy dooms.

⁴⁴ And I shall keep thy law ever-more; into the world, and into the world of world.

³⁹ Cut away my shame, which I supposed; for thy dooms be merry. (Turn away the shame, or the rebuke, which I fear; for thy judgements be good.)

⁴⁰ Lo! I coveted thy commandments; quicken thou me in thine equity. (Behold! I desired (to obey) thy precepts; grant thou me life in thy righteousness.)

⁴¹ Vau. And, Lord, thy mercy come up on me; thine health come by thy speech. (And, Lord, let thy love come to me; let thy salvation, or thy deliverance, come according to thy word.)

⁴² And I shall answer a word to men saying shame to me; for I hoped in thy words. (And then I shall answer a word to those shaming me; for I put my trust in thy words.)

⁴³ And take thou not away from my mouth the word of truth utterly; for I hoped above in thy dooms. (And never take away the word of truth from my mouth; for I put my hope in thy judgements, or in thy decrees.)

⁴⁴ And I shall keep thy law evermore; into the world, and into the world of world. (And I shall obey thy Law forevermore; yea, forever and ever.)

³⁹ Remove my reproach that I have feared, For Thy judgments are good.

⁴⁰ Lo, I have longed for Thy precepts, In Thy righteousness quicken Thou me,

⁴¹ Waw. And meet me doth Thy kindness, O Jehovah, Thy salvation according to Thy saying.

⁴² And I answer him who is reproaching me a word, For I have trusted in Thy word.

⁴³ And Thou takest not utterly away From my mouth the word of truth, Because for Thy judgment I have hoped.

⁴⁴ And I keep Thy law continually, To the age and for ever.
