¹³³ Establish my footsteps in thy word; And let not any iniquity have dominion over me.

¹³⁴ Redeem me from the oppression of man: So will I observe thy precepts.

¹³⁵ Make thy face to shine upon thy servant; And teach me thy statutes.

¹³⁶ Streams of water run down mine eyes, Because they observe not thy law.

¹³⁷ Righteous art thou, O Jehovah, And upright are thy judgments.

¹³⁸ Thou hast commanded thy testimonies in righteousness And very faithfulness.

¹³⁹ My zeal hath consumed me, Because mine adversaries have forgotten thy words.

¹⁴⁰ Thy word is very pure; Therefore thy servant loveth it.

¹⁴¹ I am small and despised; Yet do I not forget thy precepts.

¹⁴² Thy righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, And thy law is truth.

¹⁴³ Trouble and anguish have taken hold on me; Yet thy commandments are my delight.

¹³⁶ I cry very much because many people do not obey your laws.

¹³⁷ Yahweh, you are righteous and ◄your regulations/the rules that you have given to us► are just/fair.

¹³⁸ ◄Your requirements/All the things that you have instructed us to do► are true and are all very right and fair.

¹³⁹ I am ◄furious/very angry► because my enemies disregard ◄your words/what you have told us to do►.

¹⁴⁰ ◄Your promises are/All the things that you have said that you will do are► dependable and I love them.

¹⁴¹ I am not important and people despise me, but I do not forget ◄your principles of behavior/what you have declared that we should do►.

¹⁴² You are righteous and you will be righteous forever, and your laws will never be changed.

¹⁴³ I constantly have troubles/difficulties and I am worried, but ◄your commands cause/what you have commanded causes► me to be happy.

¹⁴⁴ ◄Your requirements are/All the things that you have instructed us to do are► always fair; help me to understand them in order that I may continue to live.

¹⁴⁵ Yahweh, with all my inner being I call out to you; answer me and I will obey ◄your statutes/what you have decreed that we should do►.

¹⁴⁶ I call out to you; save/rescue me in order that I can continue to obey all ◄your requirements/the things that you have instructed us to do►.

¹⁴⁷ Each morning I arise before dawn and call to you to help me; I confidently expect you to do what you have ◄promised/said that you will do►.

¹⁴⁸ All during the night I am awake, and I ◄meditate on/think about► what you have ◄promised/said that you would do►.

¹⁴⁹ Yahweh, because you faithfully love me, listen to me while I pray, and keep me safe because of my obeying ◄your regulations/what you have told us to do►.

¹⁵⁰ Those evil people who oppress/persecute me are coming closer to me; they do not pay any attention to your laws.

¹⁵¹ But Yahweh, you are near to me, and I know that ◄your commands/what you command► will never be changed.

¹⁵² Long ago I found out about ◄your requirements/all the things that you have instructed us to do►, and I know that you intended them to last forever.

¹⁵³ Look at me and see that I am suffering very much, and heal me, because I do not forget your laws.

¹⁵⁴ Defend me when others accuse me, and rescue me from them; allow me to continue to live, as you promised/said that you would.

¹⁵⁵ Wicked people do not obey ◄your statutes/what you have decreed that we should do►, so you will certainly not save them.

¹⁵⁴ Deem thou my doom, and again-buy thou me; quicken thou me for thy speech.

¹⁵⁵ Health is far from sinners; for they sought not thy justifyings.

¹³³ (Ad)dress thou my goings by thy speech; that all unrightfulness have not lordship on me. (Direct thou my ways according to thy word; and do not let any unrighteousness have lordship, or rule, over me.)

¹³⁴ Again-buy thou me from the false challenges of men; that I keep thy behests. (Save thou me from those who would oppress me; so that I can obey thy precepts.)

¹³⁵ Lighten thy face on thy servant; and teach thou me thy justifyings. (Let thy face shine upon thy servant; and teach thou me thy statutes.)

¹³⁶ Mine eyes led forth the outgoings of waters; for they kept not thy law. (My eyes stream with tears; because of those who do not obey thy Law.)

¹³⁷ Tzaddi. Lord, thou art just; and thy doom is rightful. (Lord, thou art just; and thy judgements, or thy decrees, be righteous.)

¹³⁸ Thou hast commanded rightfulness, thy witnessings; and thy truth greatly to be kept. (The teachings that thou hast commanded be right, and true; and greatly to be obeyed.)

¹³⁹ My fervent love made me to be melted, either languished; for mine enemies forgat thy words. (My fervent love for thee made me feel greatly distressed; because my enemies did not obey thy words.)

¹⁴⁰ Thy speech is set afire; and thy servant loved it. (Thy word is tried by fire; and thy servant loveth it.)

¹⁴¹ I am young, and despised; I forgat not thy justifyings. (I am young and despised; but I do not forget thy precepts.)

¹⁴² Lord, thy rightfulness is rightfulness into without end; and thy law is truth. (Lord, thy righteousness is righteousness forever; and thy Law is true forever or and thy Law is the truth forever.)

¹⁴³ Tribulation and anguish have found me; thy behests is my thinking. (Though trouble and anguish have found me; thy commandments still be my delight.)

¹⁴⁴ Thy witnessings is equity into without end (or Thy teachings be just forever); give thou understanding to me, and I shall live.

¹⁴⁵ Koph. I cried in all mine heart, Lord, hear thou me; I shall seek thy justifyings. (I cried with all my heart, O Lord, please answer me; for I shall follow thy statutes.)

¹⁴⁶ I cried to thee, make thou me safe; that I keep thy commandments. (I cried to thee, save thou me; so that I can keep thy commandments or and I shall obey thy commandments.)

¹⁴⁷ I before came in ripeness, and I cried; I hoped above on thy words. (I came before thee in the morning; I have great hope in thy words.)

¹⁴⁸ Mine eyes before came to thee full early; that I should bethink (on) thy speeches. (My eyes be open through the night or I lie awake all night; so that I can think about thy words.)

¹⁴⁹ Lord, hear thou my voice by thy mercy; and quicken thou me by thy doom. (Lord, hear thou me in thy mercy; and grant thou me life according to thy judgement./Lord, hear thou me in thy love; and grant thou me life by thy decree.)

¹⁵⁰ They that pursue me nighed to wickedness; forsooth they be made far from thy law. (They who pursue me approach near to wickedness; and they be made far from thy Law./They who wickedly pursue me come near to me; but they be made far from thy Law.)

¹⁵¹ Lord, thou art nigh; and all thy ways be truth. (Lord, thou art near; and all thy commandments be true.)

¹⁵² In the beginning I knew of thy witnessings; for thou hast founded those into without end. (Long ago I knew of thy teachings; for thou hast founded them to last forever.)

¹⁵³ Resh. See thou my meekness, and deliver thou me; for I forgat not thy law. (See thou my troubles, and save thou me; for I have not forgotten thy Law.)

¹⁵⁴ Deem thou my doom, and again-buy thou me; quicken me for thy speech. (Judge thou my case, and buy thou me back, that is, rescue me; yea, grant thou me life according to thy word, or thy promise.)

¹⁵⁵ Health is far from sinners; for they sought not thy justifyings. (Salvation is far from sinners; for they did not search out thy statutes or for they do not obey thy laws.)

¹³³ My steps establish by Thy saying, And any iniquity doth not rule over me.

¹³⁴ Ransom me from the oppression of man, And I observe Thy precepts,

¹³⁵ Thy face cause to shine on Thy servant, And teach me Thy statutes.

¹³⁶ Rivulets of waters have come down mine eyes, Because they have not kept Thy law!

¹³⁷ Tzade. Righteous art Thou, O Jehovah, And upright are Thy judgments.

¹³⁸ Thou hast appointed Thy testimonies, Righteous and exceeding faithful,

¹³⁹ Cut me off hath my zeal, For mine adversaries forgot Thy words.

¹⁴⁰ Tried is thy saying exceedingly, And Thy servant hath loved it.

¹⁴¹ Small I am, and despised, Thy precepts I have not forgotten.

¹⁴² Thy righteousness is righteousness to the age, And Thy law is truth.

¹⁴³ Adversity and distress have found me, Thy commands are my delights.

¹⁴⁴ The righteousness of Thy testimonies is to Cause me to understand, and I live!

¹⁴⁵ Koph. I have called with the whole heart, Answer me, O Jehovah, Thy statutes I keep,

¹⁴⁶ I have called Thee, save Thou me, And I do keep Thy testimonies.

¹⁴⁷ I have gone forward in the dawn, and I cry, For Thy word I have hoped.

¹⁴⁸ Mine eyes have gone before the watches, To meditate in Thy saying.

¹⁴⁹ My voice hear, according to Thy kindness, Jehovah, according to Thy judgment quicken me.

¹⁵⁰ Near have been my wicked pursuers, From Thy law they have been far off.

¹⁵¹ Near art Thou, O Jehovah, And all Thy commands are truth.

¹⁵² Of old I have known Thy testimonies, That to the age Thou hast founded them!

¹⁵³ Resh. See my affliction, and deliver Thou me, For Thy law I have not forgotten.

¹⁵⁴ Plead my plea, and redeem me, According to Thy saying quicken me.

¹⁵⁵ Far from the wicked is salvation, For Thy statutes they have not sought.
