¹¹² I have inclined my heart to perform thy statutes For ever, even unto the end.

¹¹³ I hate them that are of a double mind; But thy law do I love.

¹¹⁴ Thou art my hiding-place and my shield: I hope in thy word.

¹¹⁵ Depart from me, ye evil-doers, That I may keep the commandments of my God.

¹¹⁶ Uphold me according unto thy word, that I may live; And let me not be ashamed of my hope.

¹¹⁷ Hold thou me up, and I shall be safe, And shall have respect unto thy statutes continually.

¹¹⁸ Thou hast set at nought all them that err from thy statutes; For their deceit is falsehood.

¹¹⁴ You are like a place where I can hide from my enemies, and you are like a shield MET behind which I am protected from them, and I trust in your promises.

¹¹⁵ You evil people, stay away from me in order than I may obey ◄my God's commands/what my God has commanded►!

¹¹⁶ Enable me to be strong, as you promised/said that you would do, in order that I may continue to live. I am confidently expecting that you will restore me; ◄do not disappoint me/do not allow me to be disappointed►.

¹¹⁷ Hold me up, in order that I will be safe and always ◄pay attention to/heed► ◄your statutes/what you have decreed that we should do►.

¹¹⁸ You reject all those who disobey ◄your statutes/what you have decreed that we should do►; but what they deceitfully plan to do will be ◄useless/in vain►.

¹¹⁹ You get rid of all the wicked people on the earth like SIM people throw away trash; therefore I love /what you have instructed us to do.

¹²⁰ I SYN tremble because I am afraid of you; I am afraid because you punish those who do not obey ◄your regulations/the rules that you have given to us►.

¹²¹ But I have done what is right and fair/just; so do not allow people to oppress/mistreat me.

¹²² Promise me that you will do good things for me and do not allow proud people to oppress me.

¹²³ My eyes are tired from waiting a long time for you to rescue me, for you to save me like you promised/said that you would.

¹²⁴ Do something for me to show that you faithfully love me, and teach me ◄your statutes/what you have decreed that we should do►.

¹¹⁶ Be my support as you have said, and give me life; let not my hope be turned to shame.

¹¹⁷ Let me not be moved, and I will be safe, and ever take delight in your rules.

¹¹⁸ You have overcome all those who are wandering from your rules; for all their thoughts are false.

¹¹⁹ All the sinners of the earth are like waste metal in your eyes; and for this cause I give my love to your unchanging word.

¹²⁰ My flesh is moved for fear of you; I give honour to your decisions.

¹²¹ AIN I have done what is good and right: you will not give me into the hands of those who are working against me.

¹²² Take your servant's interests into your keeping; let me not be crushed by the men of pride.

¹²³ My eyes are wasted with desire for your salvation, and for the word of your righteousness.

¹²⁴ Be good to your servant in your mercy, and give me teaching in your rules.

¹¹⁵ Leave me alone, you evil people, and let me keep the commandments of my God.

¹¹⁶ Support me, Lord, as you promised, so I can live. Don't let my hope turn into discouragement.

¹¹⁷ Support me, so I can be saved and always pay attention to your instructions.

¹¹⁸ You reject all those who don't follow your instructions—they're fooling themselves by living a lie.

¹¹⁹ You treat the wicked people on earth as something worthless to be discarded; therefore I love your laws.

¹²⁰ I have goose bumps thinking of you—I'm in awe! I'm scared of your judgments!

¹²¹ Ayin I have done what's fair and right, so please don't abandon me to my enemies.

¹²² Please promise you'll take care of me, your servant. Don't let these arrogant people mistreat me.

¹²³ I strain my eyes looking for your salvation, watching for you to fulfill your promise to make everything good.

¹²⁴ Please treat me, your servant, according to your trustworthy love. Teach me what you want me to do.

¹¹² I haue applied mine heart to fulfill thy statutes alway, euen vnto the ende.

¹¹³ SAMECH. I hate vaine inuentions: but thy Lawe doe I loue.

¹¹⁴ Thou art my refuge and shield, and I trust in thy worde.

¹¹⁵ Away from mee, yee wicked: for I will keepe the commandements of my God.

¹¹⁶ Stablish me according to thy promise, that I may liue, and disappoint me not of mine hope.

¹¹⁷ Stay thou mee, and I shall be safe, and I will delite continually in thy statutes.

¹²¹ AIN. I haue executed iudgement and iustice: leaue me not to mine oppressours.

¹²² Answere for thy seruant in that, which is good, and let not the proude oppresse me.

¹²³ Mine eyes haue failed in waiting for thy saluation, and for thy iust promise.

¹²⁴ Deale with thy seruant according to thy mercie, and teache me thy statutes.

¹²⁰ My flesh trembleth for fear of thee; and I am afraid of thy judgments.

¹²¹ AIN. I have done judgment and justice; leave me not to my oppressors.

¹²² Be surety for thy servant for good: let not the proud oppress me.

¹²³ My eyes fail for thy salvation, and for the word of thy righteousness.

¹²⁴ Deal with thy servant according to thy mercy, and teach me thy statutes.

¹¹² I have set my heart to perform your statutes forever, even to the end.

¹¹³ SAMEKH I hate double-minded men, but I love your Torah.

¹¹⁴ You are my hiding place and my shield. I hope in your word.

¹¹⁵ Depart from me, you evildoers, that I may keep the commandments of my God.

¹¹⁶ Uphold me according to your word, that I may live. Let me not be ashamed of my hope.

¹¹⁷ Hold me up, and I will be safe, and will have respect for your statutes continually.

¹¹⁸ You reject all those who stray from your statutes, for their deceit is in vain.

¹¹⁹ You put away all the wicked of the earth like dross. Therefore I love your testimonies.

¹¹⁶ Up-take thou me by thy word, and I shall live; and shame thou not me for mine abiding.

¹¹⁷ Help thou me, and I shall be safe; and I shall bethink evermore in thy justifyings.

¹¹⁸ Thou hast forsaken all men going away from thy dooms; for the thought of them is unjust.

¹¹⁹ I areckoned all the sinners of earth to be breakers of the law; therefore I loved thy witnessings.

¹²⁰ Nail thou my flesh with thy dread; for I dreaded of thy dooms.

¹²¹ Ain. I did doom and rightwise-ness; betake thou not me to them that falsely challenge me.

¹²² Take up thy servant into goodness; they that be proud challenge not me.

¹²³ Mine eyes failed into thine health; and into the speech of thy rightful-ness or rightwiseness.

¹²⁴ Do thou with thy servant after thy mercy; and teach thou me thy justify-ings.

¹¹² I bowed mine heart to do thy justifyings into without end; for reward. (I committed my heart to follow thy statutes; for they be my reward forever or for they shall be my reward until the day I die.)

¹¹³ Samech. I hated wicked men; and I loved thy law. (I hate the wicked; but I love thy Law.)

¹¹⁴ Thou art mine helper, and mine up-taker; and I hoped more in thy word. (Thou art my helper, and my defender; I put my hope in thy word.)

¹¹⁵ Ye wicked men, bow away from me; and I shall seek the commandments of my God. (All ye wicked people, go away from me; so that I can obey my God’s commandments.)

¹¹⁶ Up-take thou me by thy word, and I shall live; and shame thou not me for mine abiding. (Lift up thou me or Strengthen thou me according to thy word, so that I may live; and do not let me be shamed for trusting in thee.)

¹¹⁷ Help thou me, and I shall be safe; and I shall bethink evermore in thy justifyings. (Help thou me, and I shall be saved; and I shall think about thy statutes forevermore.)

¹¹⁸ Thou hast forsaken all men going away from thy dooms; for the thought of them is unjust. (Thou hast abandoned all who stray, or who go away, from thy statutes; for their thoughts be not just, or proper.)

¹¹⁹ I areckoned all the sinners of earth (to be) breakers of the law; therefore I loved thy witnessings. (Thou reckonest all the wicked of the earth to be but drit, or dirt; and so I love thy teachings.)

¹²⁰ Nail thou my flesh with thy dread; for I dreaded of thy dooms. (My flesh shaketh in fear of thee; because I fear thy judgements or because I revere thy justice.)

¹²¹ Ain. I did doom and rightwiseness; betake thou not me to them that falsely challenge me. (I did what is just and right; so do not thou deliver me up to those who will oppress me.)

¹²² Take up thy servant into goodness; they that be proud challenge not me. (Yea, protect thy servant; let not those who be proud oppress me.)

¹²³ Mine eyes failed into thine health; and into the speech of thy rightfulness. (My eyes fail looking for thy salvation, or for thy deliverance; and for the word of thy righteousness.)

¹²⁴ Do thou with thy servant after thy mercy; and teach thou me thy justifyings. (Do thou with thy servant according to thy love; and teach thou me thy statutes.)

¹¹² I have inclined my heart To do Thy statutes, to the age — to the end!

¹¹³ Samech. Doubting ones I have hated, And Thy law I have loved.

¹¹⁴ My hiding place and my shield art Thou, For Thy word I have hoped.

¹¹⁵ Turn aside from me, ye evil-doers, And I keep the commands of my God.

¹¹⁶ Sustain me according to Thy saying, And I live, and Thou puttest me not to shame Because of my hope.

¹¹⁷ Support Thou me, and I am saved, And I look on Thy statutes continually.

¹¹⁸ Thou hast trodden down All going astray from Thy statutes, For falsehood is their deceit.

¹¹⁹ Dross! Thou hast caused to cease All the wicked of the earth; Therefore I have loved Thy testimonies.

¹²⁰ Trembled from Thy fear hath my flesh, And from Thy judgments I have been afraid!
