Proverbs 16:5-8 in English

⁵ Every one that is proud in heart is an abomination to Jehovah: Though hand join in hand, he shall not be unpunished.

⁶ By mercy and truth iniquity is atoned for; And by the fear of Jehovah men depart from evil.

⁷ When a man’s ways please Jehovah, He maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him.

⁸ Better is a little, with righteousness, Than great revenues with injustice.

⁵ Every one that is proud in heart is unclean before God, and he that unjustly strikes hands with hand shall not be held guiltless.

⁷ The beginning of a good way is to do justly; and it is more acceptable with God than to offer sacrifices.

⁸ He that seeks the Lord shall find knowledge with righteousness: and they that rightly seek him shall find peace.

⁵ Yahweh hates/detests everyone who is proud IDM; you can be certain IDM that they will be punished LIT.

⁶ Be loyal to Yahweh and faithfully obey him; if you do that, he will forgive you for having sinned. If we revere him, nothing evil will happen to us (OR, he will prevent evil things from happening to us).

⁷ When our behavior pleases Yahweh, he even causes our enemies to act peacefully toward us.

⁸ It is better to have a small amount of money that is earned honestly than to have a lot of money that is acquired dishonestly.

⁶ Sin is forgiven through trustworthy love and faithfulness; by honoring the Lord people are saved from evil.

⁷ When the way that people live pleases the Lord, he makes even their enemies be at peace with them.

⁸ Better to have just a little and be honest than to have a lot and be dishonest.

⁶ By mercy and trueth iniquitie shalbe forgiuen, and by the feare of the Lord they depart from euill.

⁷ When the wayes of a man please the Lord, he will make also his enemies at peace with him.

⁵ Yahweh hates everyone who has an arrogant heart, but be sure of this, they will not go unpunished.

⁶ By covenant faithfulness and trustworthiness iniquity is atoned for and by the fear of Yahweh people turn away from evil.

⁷ When a person's ways are pleasing to Yahweh, he makes even that person's enemies to be at peace with him.

⁸ Better is a little with what is right, than a large income with injustice.

⁵ Everyone who is proud in heart is an abomination to Yahweh; they shall certainly not be unpunished.

⁶ Wickedness is again-bought by mercy and truth; and men boweth away from evil by the dread of the Lord.

⁷ When the ways of a man please the Lord, he shall convert, yea, his enemies to peace.

⁸ Better is a little with rightfulness or rightwiseness, than many fruits with wickedness.

⁵ Abomination of the Lord is each proud man (or Each proud person is an abomination to the Lord); yea, though the hand is to the hand, he shall not be innocent. The beginning of the good way is to do rightwiseness; forsooth it is more acceptable with God, than to offer sacrifices.

⁶ Wickedness is again-bought by mercy and truth; and men boweth away from evil by the dread of the Lord. (Wickedness is redeemed by love and faithfulness; and people can turn away from evil by the fear of the Lord or through reverence for the Lord.)

⁷ When the ways of (a) man please the Lord, he shall convert, yea, his enemies to peace.

⁸ Better is a little with rightfulness, than many fruits with wickedness.

⁵ An abomination to Jehovah is every proud one of heart, Hand to hand he is not acquitted.

⁶ In kindness and truth pardoned is iniquity, And in the fear of Jehovah Turn thou aside from evil.

⁷ When a man's ways please Jehovah, even his enemies, He causeth to be at peace with him.

⁸ Better is a little with righteousness, Than abundance of increase without justice.
