⁹ Open thy mouth, judge righteously, And minister justice to the poor and needy.

¹⁰ A worthy woman who can find? For her price is far above rubies.

¹¹ The heart of her husband trusteth in her, And he shall have no lack of gain.

¹² She doeth him good and not evil All the days of her life.

¹³ She seeketh wool and flax, And worketh willingly with her hands.

¹⁴ She is like the merchant-ships; She bringeth her bread from afar.

¹⁵ She riseth also while it is yet night, And giveth food to her household, And their task to her maidens.

¹⁶ She considereth a field, and buyeth it; With the fruit of her hands she planteth a vineyard.

¹⁰ Who shall find a virtuous woman? for such a one is more valuable than precious stones.

¹¹ The heart of her husband trusts in her: such a one shall stand in no need of fine spoils.

¹² For she employs all her living for her husband's good.

¹³ Gathering wool and flax, she makes it serviceable with her hands.

¹⁴ She is like a ship trading from a distance: so she procures her livelihood.

¹⁵ And she rises by night, and gives food to her household, and appointed tasks to her maidens.

¹⁶ She views a farm, and buys it: and with the fruit of her hands she plants a possession.

¹⁰ It is very difficult for a man to RHQ find a wife who is good and who is capable of doing many things. Any woman who is like that is worth more than jewels.

¹¹ Her husband completely trusts her, and because of her, he has everything that he needs LIT.

¹² She never does anything that would harm him; she does good things for him all the days of her life.

¹³ She finds wool and flax in the market, and she enjoys spinning it to make yarn.

¹⁴ She is like SIM a ship that brings from far away goods/merchandise to sell, because she buys food that comes from far away.

¹⁵ She gets up before dawn to prepare food for her family. Then she plans the work that her servant girls will do on that day.

¹⁶ She goes out and looks at a field that someone wants to sell; and if it is a good field, she buys it. She buys grapevines MTY with the money that she has earned, and then she plants them.

⁹ Speak up and judge fairly; defend the poor and destitute.

¹⁰ Who can find a strong, capable wife? She's worth more than jewels!

¹¹ Her husband has complete confidence in her, and with her he'll never be poor.

¹² She brings him good, not evil, all her life.

¹³ She gets wool and flax, and with her eager hands turns them into clothes.

¹⁴ Like a merchant's ship, she brings food from far away.

¹⁵ She gets up while it's still dark to make breakfast for her family, and to plan what her servant girls need to do.

¹⁶ She looks at a field, and decides to buy it; from the money she's earned she buys a vineyard.

⁹ Open thy mouth: iudge righteously, and iudge the afflicted, and the poore.

¹⁰ Who shall finde a vertuous woman? for her price is farre aboue the pearles.

¹¹ The heart of her husband trusteth in her, and he shall haue no neede of spoyle.

¹² She will doe him good, and not euill all the dayes of her life.

¹³ She seeketh wooll and flaxe, and laboureth cheerefully with her handes.

¹⁴ She is like the shippes of marchants: shee bringeth her foode from afarre.

¹⁵ And she riseth, whiles it is yet night: and giueth the portion to her houshold, and the ordinarie to her maides.

¹⁶ She considereth a field, and getteth it: and with the fruite of her handes she planteth a vineyarde.

¹⁶ She beheld a field, and bought it; of the fruit of her hands she planted a vinery or a vineyard.

⁹ Deem thou that that is just, and deem thou a needy man and a poor man. (Judge thou with judgement, or with discernment, and give thou justice to the needy and to the poor.)

¹⁰ Who shall find a strong woman? the price of her is far, and from the last ends. (Who shall find a woman of virtue? her value is far above anything else.)

¹¹ The heart of her husband trusteth in her; and he shall not have need to robberies. (Her husband trusteth her in his heart; and he shall have no need for robbery, or for theft.)

¹² She shall yield to him good, and not evil, in all the days of her life.

¹³ She sought wool and flax; and wrought by the counsel of her hands. (She sought out wool and flax; and skillfully worked them with her hands.)

¹⁴ She is made as the ship of a merchant (or She is made like a merchant’s ship), that beareth his bread from a far.

¹⁵ And she rose by night, and gave lifelode to her menials, and meats to her handmaidens. (And she arose at night, and gave sustenance to her servants, and food to her servantesses.)

¹⁶ She beheld a field, and bought it; of the fruit of her hands she planted a vinery. (She saw a field, and bought it; and from the fruit of her hands, or out of her earnings, she planted a vineyard.)

⁹ Open thy mouth, judge righteously, Both the cause of the poor and needy!'

¹⁰ A woman of worth who doth find? Yea, far above rubies is her price.
