²¹ She is not afraid of the snow for her household; For all her household are clothed with scarlet.

²² She maketh for herself carpets of tapestry; Her clothing is fine linen and purple.

²³ Her husband is known in the gates, When he sitteth among the elders of the land.

²⁴ She maketh linen garments and selleth them, And delivereth girdles unto the merchant.

²⁵ Strength and dignity are her clothing; And she laugheth at the time to come.

²⁶ She openeth her mouth with wisdom; And the law of kindness is on her tongue.

²⁷ She looketh well to the ways of her household, And eateth not the bread of idleness.

²⁸ Her children rise up, and call her blessed; Her husband also, and he praiseth her, saying:

²⁹ Many daughters have done worthily, But thou excellest them all.

²¹ Her husband is not anxious about those at home when he tarries anywhere abroad: for all her household are clothed.

²² She makes for her husband clothes of double texture, and garments for herself of fine linen and scarlet.

²³ And her husband becomes a distinguished person in the gates, when he sits in council with the old inhabitants of the land.

²⁴ She makes fine linens, and sells girdles to the Chananites: she opens her mouth heedfully and with propriety, and controls her tongue.

²⁵ She puts on strength and honour; and rejoices in the last days.

²⁶ The ways of her household are careful, and she eats not the bread of idleness.

²⁷ But she opens her mouth wisely, and according to law.

²⁸ And her kindness to them sets up her children for them, and they grow rich, and her husband praises her.

²⁹ Many daughters have obtained wealth, many have wrought valiantly; but thou hast exceeded, thou hast surpassed all.

²³ Her husband is well known by the important people of the town; he sits with the other town leaders in the meetings of the town council.

²⁴ She makes clothes from linen cloth and sells them. She sells sashes to shop owners.

²⁵ She is strong in her character and respected/dignified, and she ◄laughs at/is not afraid of► what will happen in the future.

²⁶ When she speaks, she says what is wise. When she gives instructions, she speaks MTY kindly (OR, faithfully).

²⁷ She watches over everything that is done in her household, and she IDM is never lazy.

²⁸ Her children all together speak highly of her, and her husband also praises her.

²⁹ He says to her, “There are many women who do admirable things, but you surpass them all!”

²¹ Her husband is not anxious about those at home when he tarries anywhere abroad: for all her household are clothed.

²⁴ She makes linen robes and gets a price for them, and traders take her cloth bands for a price.

²⁵ Strength and self-respect are her clothing; she is facing the future with a smile.

²⁶ Her mouth is open to give out wisdom, and the law of mercy is on her tongue.

²⁷ She gives attention to the ways of her family, she does not take her food without working for it.

²⁸ Her children get up and give her honour, and her husband gives her praise, saying,

²⁹ Unnumbered women have done well, but you are better than all of them.

²¹ She is not afraid of the snow for her household; for all her household are clothed with scarlet.

²² She maketh herself coverlets; her clothing is byssus and purple.

²³ Her husband is known in the gates, when he sitteth among the elders of the land.

²⁴ She maketh body linen and selleth it, and delivereth girdles unto the merchant.

²⁵ Strength and dignity are her clothing, and she laugheth at the coming day.

²¹ She doesn't worry if it snows, because her whole family has warm clothing.

²² She makes herself bedspreads; she dresses in fine linen and purple clothes.

²³ Her husband is well-respected in the council at the town gates, where he sits with the town elders.

²⁴ She makes linen clothes for sale, and supplies merchants with belts.

²⁵ She's clothed with strength and dignity, and she is happy about the future.

²⁶ She speaks wise words, and she's kind when she gives instructions.

²⁷ She looks after the needs of her whole household, and she's never idle.

²⁸ Her children are quick to bless her. Her husband praises her too, saying,

²⁹ “Many women do great things, but you are better than all of them!”

²¹ She feareth not the snowe for her familie: for all her familie is clothed with skarlet.

²² She maketh her selfe carpets: fine linen and purple is her garment.

²³ Her husband is knowen in the gates, when he sitteth with the Elders of the land.

²⁴ She maketh sheetes, and selleth them, and giueth girdels vnto the marchant.

²⁵ Strength and honour is her clothing, and in the latter day she shall reioyce.

²⁶ She openeth her mouth with wisdome, and the lawe of grace is in her tongue.

²⁷ She ouerseeth the wayes of her housholde, and eateth not the bread of ydlenes.

²⁸ Her children rise vp, and call her blessed: her husband also shall prayse her, saying,

²⁹ Many daughters haue done vertuously: but thou surmountest them all.

²² She made to her a ray-cloth; bis, either white silk, and purple is the cloth of her. (She made a ray-cloth for herself; bis, or white silk, and purple maketh her cloak.)

²³ Her husband is noble in the gates, when he sitteth with the senators of the earth. (Her husband is well-regarded at the city gates, when he sitteth with the elders of the land.)

²⁴ She made linen cloth, and sold it; and gave a girdle to a merchant.

²⁵ Strength and fairness is the clothing of her; and she shall laugh in the last day. (Strength and beauty be her clothing; and she shall laugh at tomorrow or and she shall laugh on the last day, as she did on this day.)

²⁶ She opened her mouth to wisdom; and the law of mercy is in her tongue. (She opened her mouth with wisdom; and the law of love, or of kindness, is upon her tongue.)

²⁷ She beheld the paths of her house; and she ate not bread idly (or and she did not eat the bread of idleness).

²⁸ Her sons rose up, and preached her most blessed; her husband rose (up), and praised her.

²⁹ Many daughters gathered riches; thou passedest all. (Many women have gathered in riches; but thou hast surpassed them all.)

²¹ She is not afraid of her household from snow, For all her household are clothed with scarlet.

²² Ornamental coverings she hath made for herself, Silk and purple are her clothing.

²³ Known in the gates is her husband, In his sitting with elders of the land.

²⁴ Linen garments she hath made, and selleth, And a girdle she hath given to the merchant.

²⁵ Strength and honour are her clothing, And she rejoiceth at a latter day.

²⁶ Her mouth she hath opened in wisdom, And the law of kindness is on her tongue.

²⁷ She is watching the ways of her household, And bread of sloth she eateth not.
