¹³ She seeketh wool and flax, And worketh willingly with her hands.

¹⁴ She is like the merchant-ships; She bringeth her bread from afar.

¹⁵ She riseth also while it is yet night, And giveth food to her household, And their task to her maidens.

¹⁶ She considereth a field, and buyeth it; With the fruit of her hands she planteth a vineyard.

¹⁷ She girdeth her loins with strength, And maketh strong her arms.

¹⁸ She perceiveth that her merchandise is profitable; Her lamp goeth not out by night.

¹⁹ She layeth her hands to the distaff, And her hands hold the spindle.

¹³ Gathering wool and flax, she makes it serviceable with her hands.

¹⁴ She is like a ship trading from a distance: so she procures her livelihood.

¹⁵ And she rises by night, and gives food to her household, and appointed tasks to her maidens.

¹⁶ She views a farm, and buys it: and with the fruit of her hands she plants a possession.

¹⁷ She strongly girds her loins, and strengthens her arms for work.

¹⁸ And she finds by experience that working is good; and her candle goes not out all night.

¹⁹ She reaches forth her arms to needful works, and applies her hands to the spindle.

¹⁶ She goes out and looks at a field that someone wants to sell; and if it is a good field, she buys it. She buys grapevines MTY with the money that she has earned, and then she plants them.

¹⁷ She works very hard IDM; she makes her arms strong by the work she does.

¹⁸ She knows when she is getting a good profit from her business. When it is necessary, she works MTY until it is late at night.

¹⁹ She holds the ◄spindle/rod which twists the thread that she is making►, and then she spins the thread MTY that she will use.

¹⁴ She is like the shippes of marchants: shee bringeth her foode from afarre.

¹⁵ And she riseth, whiles it is yet night: and giueth the portion to her houshold, and the ordinarie to her maides.

¹⁶ She considereth a field, and getteth it: and with the fruite of her handes she planteth a vineyarde.

¹⁷ She girdeth her loynes with strength, and strengtheneth her armes.

¹⁸ She feeleth that her marchandise is good: her candle is not put out by night.

¹⁹ She putteth her handes to the wherue, and her handes handle the spindle.

¹⁵ And she rose by night, and gave lifelode to her menials, and meats to her handmaidens. (And she arose at night, and gave sustenance to her servants, and food to her servantesses.)

¹⁶ She beheld a field, and bought it; of the fruit of her hands she planted a vinery. (She saw a field, and bought it; and from the fruit of her hands, or out of her earnings, she planted a vineyard.)

¹⁷ She girded her loins with strength, and made strong her arm.

¹⁸ She tasted, and saw, that her merchandise was good; her lantern shall not be quenched in the night.

¹⁹ She put her hands to the wharve, and her fingers took the spindle.
