²⁷ The locusts have no king, Yet go they forth all of them by bands;

²⁸ The lizard taketh hold with her hands, Yet is she in kings’ palaces.

²⁹ There are three things which are stately in their march, Yea, four which are stately in going:

³⁰ The lion, which is mightiest among beasts, And turneth not away for any;

³¹ The greyhound; the he-goat also; And the king against whom there is no rising up.

³² If thou hast done foolishly in lifting up thyself, Or if thou hast thought evil, Lay thy hand upon thy mouth.

²⁸ The spider taketh hold with her hands, and is in kings’ palaces.

³² If you abandon yourself to mirth, and stretch forth your hand in a quarrel, you shall be disgraced.

²⁸ Lizards/Geckos are very small and you can hold them in your hand, but they are cleverly able to get inside kings' palaces.

²⁹ There are four animals that strut around and look very impressive while they walk DOU:

³⁰ Lions, which are stronger than all other animals and are not afraid of any of them;

³¹ male goats, strutting roosters, and kings who ◄parade/walk proudly back and forth► in front of the people whom they rule.

³² If you have acted foolishly, exalting yourself, or if you been planning to do something evil, stop it immediately IDM!

²⁸ thou takest hold of the lizard with the hands, yet is she in kings' palaces.

²⁹ There are three things which have a stately step, and four are comely in going:

³⁰ The lion, mighty among beasts, which turneth not away for any;

³¹ a horse girt in the loins; or the he-goat; and a king, against whom none can rise up.

²⁹ There are three things that are glorious to watch as they walk, four that look dignified as they move:

³⁰ The lion, supreme among wild animals, who isn't frightened of anything.

²⁹ These three have a graceful step; Yea, four are graceful in their walk:

³⁰ The lion, the hero among beasts, Which turneth not back for any;

³¹ The loin-girded war-horse, the he-goat, And a king who cannot be withstood.

³² If thou hast been foolish in lifting thyself up, And hast meditated evil, Put thy hand on thy mouth!

³⁰ A lion, strongest of beasts, shall not dread, at the meeting of any man;

³¹ a cock, girded up the loins; and a ram, and a king, and none there is that shall against-stand him.

³² He that appeareth a fool, after that he is raised up on high; for if he had understood, he had set his hand on his mouth.

²⁷ a locust, (that) hath no king, and (yet) all goeth out by companies;

²⁸ a lizard, enforceth with hands, and dwelleth in the houses of kings. (and a lizard, that endeavoureth with his hands, and liveth in palaces.)

²⁹ Three things there be, that go well, (or And there be three things, that go well), and the fourth thing, that goeth richly, or wellsomely.

³⁰ A lion, strongest of beasts, shall not dread, at the meeting of any man; (A lion, the strongest of beasts, that shall not fear the meeting of any man;)

³¹ a cock, girded up the loins; and a ram, (and a king), and none there is that shall against-stand him. (a strutting rooster; and a ram; and a king for whom there is no one who shall stand up against him.)

³² He that appeareth a fool, after that he is raised up on high; for if he had understood, he had set (his) hand on his mouth. (Now, if thou hath been a fool, and hath raised up thyself on high, and hath imagined evil; then set thy hand upon thy mouth, and be silent.)

²⁷ A king there is not to the locust, And it goeth out — each one shouting,

²⁸ A spider with two hands taketh hold, And is in the palaces of a king.

²⁹ Three there are going well, Yea, four are good in going:

³⁰ An old lion — mighty among beasts, That turneth not back from the face of any,

³¹ A girt one of the loins, or a he-goat, And a king — no rising up with him.

³² If thou hast been foolish in lifting up thyself, And if thou hast devised evil — hand to mouth!
