¹⁵ The horseleach hath two daughters, crying, Give, give. There are three things that are never satisfied, Yea, four that say not, Enough:

¹⁶ Sheol; and the barren womb; The earth that is not satisfied with water; And the fire that saith not, Enough.

¹⁷ The eye that mocketh at his father, And despiseth to obey his mother, The ravens of the valley shall pick it out, And the young eagles shall eat it.

¹⁸ There are three things which are too wonderful for me, Yea, four which I know not:

¹⁹ The way of an eagle in the air; The way of a serpent upon a rock; The way of a ship in the midst of the sea; And the way of a man with a maiden.

²⁰ So is the way of an adulterous woman; She eateth, and wipeth her mouth, And saith, I have done no wickedness.

²¹ For three things the earth doth tremble, And for four, which it cannot bear:

²² For a servant when he is king; And a fool when he is filled with food;

¹⁹ the track of a flying eagle; and the ways of a serpent on a rock; and the paths of a ship passing through the sea; and the ways of a man in youth.

²⁰ Such is the way of an adulterous woman, who having washed herself from what she has done, says she has done nothing amiss.

²¹ By three thing the earth is troubled, and the fourth it can’t bear:

²² if a servant reign; or a fool be filled with food;

²³ or if a maidservant should cast out her own mistress; and if a hateful woman should marry a good man.

²⁴ And there are four very little things upon the earth, but these are wiser than the wise:

¹⁶ The place where the dead people are; women who do not have any children; ground that needs water/rain; and a fire that always needs more wood.

¹⁷ Those who SYN make fun of their fathers or refuse to obey their mothers (OR, despise their aged mothers) should die and have their eyes pecked out by crows, and the rest of their corpses should be fed to the vultures.

¹⁸ There are four things that are wonderful to me, but I do not understand any of them:

¹⁹ How eagles fly in the sky, how snakes are able to move/crawl across a big rock, how ships sail on the seas, and how a man falls in love with a woman.

²⁰ This is what a woman who ◄is not faithful to/does not have sex only with► her husband does: She commits adultery EUP, and then bathes and says, “I have not done anything that is wrong!”

²¹ There are four things that no one in the world can tolerate:

²² What a slave does who becomes a king, a foolish person eating too much food,

²³ what a woman who is hated does when she gets married, and what a female servant does when she becomes the boss instead of her mistress.

²⁴ There are four animals on the earth that are small, but they are very wise:

¹⁸ There are three things, the wonder of which overcomes me, even four things outside my knowledge:

¹⁹ The way of an eagle in the air; the way of a snake on a rock; the way of a ship in the heart of the sea; and the way of a man with a girl.

²⁰ This is the way of a false wife; she takes food, and, cleaning her mouth, says, I have done no wrong.

²¹ For three things the earth is moved, and there are four which it will not put up with:

²² A servant when he becomes a king; a man without sense when his wealth is increased;

²³ A hated woman when she is married; and a servant-girl who takes the place of her master's wife.

²⁴ There are four things which are little on the earth, but they are very wise:

¹⁵ The leech hath two daughters: Give, give. There are three things never satisfied; four which say not, It is enough:

¹⁶ — Sheol, and the barren womb; the earth which is not filled with water, and the fire which saith not, It is enough.

¹⁶ Hell, and the mouth of the womb, and the earth which is not satisfied with water: and the fire never saith: It is enough.

¹⁷ The eye that mocketh at his father, and that despiseth the labour of his mother in bearing him, let the ravens of the brooks pick it out, and the young eagles eat it.

¹⁸ Three things are hard to me, and the fourth I am utterly ignorant of.

¹⁹ The way of an eagle in the air, the way of a serpent upon a rock, the way of a ship in the midst of the sea, and the way of a man in youth.

²⁰ Such is also the way of an adulterous woman, who eateth, and wipeth her mouth, and saith: I have done no evil.

²¹ By three things the earth is disturbed, and the fourth it cannot bear:

²² By a slave when he reigneth: by a fool when he is filled with meat:

²³ By an odious woman when she is married: and by a bondwoman when she is heir to her mistress.

²⁴ There are four very little things of the earth, and they are wiser than the wise:

¹⁵ The leech has two daughters who cry out, “Give me! Give me!” There are three things that are never satisfied, four that never say, “Enough!”:

¹⁶ The grave, the womb that doesn't become pregnant, the earth thirsty for water, and the fire that never says, “Enough!”

¹⁷ People who ridicule their fathers and despise obedience to the mother will have their eyes pecked out by wild ravens and eaten by young vultures.

¹⁸ These three things are amazingly hard for me, four things I just can't understand:

¹⁹ The way an eagle soars in the sky, the way a snake slides over a rock, the way a ship sails across the sea, the way a man and a woman fall in love.

²⁰ This is the way of a woman who commits adultery: she eats, she wipes her mouth, and then says, “I haven't done anything wrong!”

²¹ Three things make the earth tremble, there are four things it can't support:

²² a slave becoming a king, a stupid person eating like a pig,

²³ an unbearable woman getting married, and a maidservant taking her mistress's place.

²⁴ There are four things on earth that are small, but very wise:

¹⁵ The horse leache hath two daughters which crye, Giue, giue. There be three things that will not be satisfied: yea, foure that say not, It is ynough.

¹⁶ The graue, and the barren wombe, the earth that cannot be satisfied with water, and the fire that sayeth not, It is ynough.

¹⁷ The eye that mocketh his father and despiseth the instruction of his mother, let ye rauens of the valley picke it out, and the yong eagles eate it.

¹⁸ There be three thinges hid from me: yea, foure that I knowe not,

¹⁹ The way of an eagle in the aire, the way of a serpent vpon a stone, ye way of a ship in ye middes of the sea, and the way of a man with a maide.

²² For a seruant when he reigneth, and a foole when he is filled with meate,

²³ For the hatefull woman, when she is married, and for a handmaid that is heire to her mistres.

²² For a servant when he is king, a fool when he is filled with food,

²³ for an unloved woman when she is married, and a servant who is heir to her mistress.

²⁴ “There are four things which are little on the earth, but they are exceedingly wise:

¹⁵ “The leech has two daughters: ‘Give, give.’ “There are three things that are never satisfied; four that don’t say, ‘Enough!’:

¹⁶ Sheol, the barren womb, the earth that is not satisfied with water, and the fire that doesn’t say, ‘Enough!’

¹⁷ “The eye that mocks at his father, and scorns obedience to his mother, the ravens of the valley shall pick it out, the young eagles shall eat it.

¹⁸ “There are three things which are too amazing for me, four which I don’t understand:

¹⁹ The way of an eagle in the air, the way of a serpent on a rock, the way of a ship in the middle of the sea, and the way of a man with a maiden.

²⁰ “So is the way of an adulterous woman: She eats and wipes her mouth, and says, ‘I have done nothing wrong.’

¹⁷ Crows of the strand or the streams peck out that eye, that scorneth the father, and that despiseth the child-bearing of his mother; and the young of an eagle eat that eye.

¹⁸ Three things be hard to me, and utterly I know not the fourth thing;

¹⁹ the way of an eagle in heaven; the way of a serpent on a stone; the way of a ship in the middle of the sea; and the way of a man in his young waxing age.

²⁰ Such is the way of a woman adulteress, which eateth, and wipeth her mouth, and saith, I wrought not evil.

²³ by an hateful woman, when she is taken in matrimony; and by an handmaid, when she is heir of her lady.
