⁶ Most men will proclaim every one his own kindness; But a faithful man who can find?

⁷ A righteous man that walketh in his integrity, Blessed are his children after him.

⁸ A king that sitteth on the throne of judgment Scattereth away all evil with his eyes.

⁹ Who can say, I have made my heart clean, I am pure from my sin?

¹⁰ Diverse weights, and diverse measures, Both of them alike are an abomination to Jehovah.

¹¹ Even a child maketh himself known by his doings, Whether his work be pure, and whether it be right.

¹² The hearing ear, and the seeing eye, Jehovah hath made even both of them.

¹³ Love not sleep, lest thou come to poverty; Open thine eyes, and thou shalt be satisfied with bread.

⁵ Just as it is difficult to bring up water from a deep well, it is difficult to know what people are thinking, but someone who has good sense/insight will be able to find out what people are thinking.

⁶ Many people proclaim that they can be trusted to do what they say that they will do, but it is very difficult to find RHQ someone who can really be trusted.

⁷ If parents conduct their lives as they should, God blesses their children (OR, their children are very happy/fortunate).

⁸ A king who sits on his throne to judge people can easily MTY find out what things that people have done are good and what things are evil.

⁹ There is no one RHQ who can truthfully say, “I do not know of any wrong things that I have done; I have ◄gotten rid of all my sinful behavior/quit doing what is sinful►.”

¹⁰ Yahweh detests people who use weights that are not right and measures that are not correct.

¹¹ Even children show by what they do whether they are good or not; they show whether ◄what they do/their behavior► is honest and right or not.

¹² Two of the things that Yahweh has created for us are ears to hear things and eyes to see things.

¹³ If you want to sleep all the time, you will become poor; if you stay awake and work, you will have plenty of food.

¹⁴ People look at things that they are about to buy, and in order to get it for a lower price sometimes they say, “◄It is no good/It is poor quality►,” but after they buy it, they go and boast about having bought it for a cheap price.

¹⁵ Gold and precious stones are valuable, but wise words MTY are more valuable.

¹⁰ The Lord hates both dishonest weights and dishonest measures.

¹¹ Even children reveal what they're like by what they do, whether their actions are good and right.

¹² The Lord made our ears to hear and our eyes to see.

¹³ If you love sleeping you'll become poor. Wake up and get busy, and you'll have plenty to eat.

¹⁴ “It's really rubbish,” says the one buying, but afterwards goes and boasts to others about making a good deal.

¹⁵ There is gold and abundance of rubies, but the lips of knowledge are a rare jewel.

⁵ Counsel in the heart of man is like deep water, but a man of understanding will draw it out.

⁶ Many men claim to be men of unfailing love, but who can find a faithful man?

⁷ A righteous man walks in integrity. Blessed are his children after him.

⁸ A king who sits on the throne of judgement scatters away all evil with his eyes.

⁹ Who can say, “I have made my heart pure. I am clean and without sin?”

¹⁰ Differing weights and differing measures, both of them alike are an abomination to the LORD.

¹¹ Even a child makes himself known by his doings, whether his work is pure, and whether it is right.

¹² The hearing ear, and the seeing eye, The LORD has made even both of them.

¹³ Don’t love sleep, lest you come to poverty. Open your eyes, and you shall be satisfied with bread.

¹⁴ “It’s no good, it’s no good,” says the buyer; but when he is gone his way, then he boasts.

⁶ Many men be called merciful; but who shall find a faithful man?

⁷ Forsooth a just or rightwise man that goeth in his simpleness, shall leave blessed sons after him.

⁸ A king that sitteth in the seat of doom, destroyeth all evil by his looking.

⁹ Who may say, Mine heart is clean; I am clean of sin?

¹⁰ A weight, greater in buying, and a weight, lesser in selling, a measure and a measure, ever either is abominable at God.

¹¹ A child is understood by his studies, if his works be rightful or right and clean.

¹² An ear hearing, and an eye seeing, or The hearing ear, and the seeing eye, God made ever either.

¹³ Do not thou love sleep, lest needi-ness oppress thee; open thine eyes, and be thou ful filled with loaves.

¹⁴ Each buyer saith, It is evil, it is evil; and when he hath gone away, then he shall have glory.

⁶ Many men be called merciful; but who shall find a faithful man? (Many people be called, or be thought to be, merciful; but who shall truly find a faithful person?)

⁷ Forsooth a just man that goeth in his simpleness, shall leave blessed sons after him. (For a righteous person who goeth in his honesty, or in his integrity, shall leave blessed sons and daughters after him.)

⁸ A king that sitteth in the seat of doom, destroyeth all evil by his looking. (A king who sitteth on the seat of judgement, knoweth evil when he seeth it.)

⁹ Who may say, Mine heart is clean; I am clean of sin?

¹⁰ A weight, greater in buying, and a weight, less (er) in selling, a measure and a measure, ever either is abominable at God (or these be abominable to God).

¹¹ A child is understood by his studies (or Even a child is known by his deeds), if his works be rightful and clean.

¹² An ear hearing, and an eye seeing, or The hearing ear, and the seeing eye, God made ever either (or God made them both).

¹³ Do not thou love sleep, lest neediness oppress thee; open thine eyes, and be thou ful filled with loaves.

¹⁵ Gold, and the multitude of gems, and a precious vessel, be the lips of knowing (or be the value of words of knowledge, or of wise words).

⁷ The righteous is walking habitually in his integrity, O the happiness of his sons after him!

⁸ A king sitting on a throne of judgment, Is scattering with his eyes all evil,

⁹ Who saith, 'I have purified my heart, I have been cleansed from my sin?'

¹⁰ A stone and a stone, an ephah and an ephah, Even both of them are an abomination to Jehovah.

¹¹ Even by his actions a youth maketh himself known, Whether his work be pure or upright.

¹² A hearing ear, and a seeing eye, Jehovah hath made even both of them.

¹³ Love not sleep, lest thou become poor, Open thine eyes — be satisfied with bread.

¹⁴ 'Bad, bad,' saith the buyer, And going his way then he boasteth himself.

¹⁵ Substance, gold, and a multitude of rubies, Yea, a precious vessel, are lips of knowledge.
