²² Lying lips are an abomination to Jehovah; But they that deal truly are his delight.

²³ A prudent man concealeth knowledge; But the heart of fools proclaimeth foolishness.

²⁴ The hand of the diligent shall bear rule; But the slothful shall be put under taskwork.

²⁵ Heaviness in the heart of a man maketh it stoop; But a good word maketh it glad.

²² Lying lips are an abomination to the Lord; but he that deals faithfully is accepted with him.

²³ An understanding man is a throne of wisdom; but the heart of fools shall meet with curses.

²⁴ The hand of chosen men shall easily obtain rule; but the deceitful shall be for a prey.

²⁵ A terrible word troubles the heart of a righteous man; but a good message rejoices him.

²³ Those with good sense do not reveal all that they know; foolish people show clearly by what they say that they ◄are ignorant/have not learned much►.

²⁴ Those SYN who work hard become rulers of others; those who are lazy become slaves of others.

²⁵ When people are anxious/worried, they become depressed/dejected, but when others speak kindly to them, it causes them to be cheerful again.

²³ A fell man covereth knowing; and the heart of unwise men stirreth folly. (A clever person concealeth his knowledge; but the unwise tell out their foolishness.)

²⁴ The hand of strong men shall have lordship; but the hand that is slow, shall serve to tributes. (The hand of the strong shall rule; but those who be lazy, shall become slaves.)

²⁵ Mourning in the heart of a just man shall make him meek; and he shall be made glad by a good word. (Mourning in the heart of a righteous person shall make him weak; but he shall be made happy by a good, or by a kind, word.)

²² An abomination to Jehovah are lying lips, And stedfast doers are his delight.
