Proverbs 12:1-5 in English

¹ Whoso loveth correction loveth knowledge; But he that hateth reproof is brutish.

² A good man shall obtain favor of Jehovah; But a man of wicked devices will he condemn.

³ A man shall not be established by wickedness; But the root of the righteous shall not be moved.

⁴ A worthy woman is the crown of her husband; But she that maketh ashamed is as rottenness in his bones.

⁵ The thoughts of the righteous are just; But the counsels of the wicked are deceit.

² He that has found favour with the Lord is made better; but a transgressor shall be passed over in silence.

³ A man shall not prosper by wickedness; but the roots of the righteous shall not be taken up.

¹ Those who want to know what is right to do want to be ◄disciplined/corrected► when they do what is wrong; it is foolish to not want to be ◄corrected/told that what you did is wrong►.

² Yahweh is pleased with good people, but he condemns those who plan to harm others.

³ People do not become secure/safe by doing what is wicked; righteous people will be very safe and secure LIT like MET a tree that has deep roots.

⁴ A good wife is one who causes her husband to be greatly honored, but a wife who does things that cause her husband to be ashamed will destroy him like SIM cancer destroys his bones.

⁵ What righteous people want to do is to treat people fairly; what wicked people want to do is to deceive people.

⁴ A woman of worth is a crown to her husband; but she that maketh ashamed is as rottenness in his bones.

² He that is good, shall draw grace from the Lord: but he that trusteth in his own devices doth wickedly.

³ Men shall not be strengthened by wickedness: and the root of the just shall not be moved.

⁴ A diligent woman is a crown to her husband: and she that doth things worthy of confusion, is a rottenness in his bones.

⁵ The thoughts of the just are judgments: and the counsels of the wicked are deceitful.

¹ If you love knowledge, you will love discipline. Anyone who hates being corrected is stupid!

² The Lord blesses the good, but he condemns anyone with evil schemes.

³ Wickedness doesn't provide security, but those who live right are deeply rooted and cannot be moved.

⁴ A good wife is a crown for her husband, but one who brings shame is like rot in his bones.

⁵ Good people make plans that are fair, but the advice of the wicked is deceptive.

⁴ A diligent woman is a crown to her husband; and rot is in the bones of that woman, that doeth things worthy of confusion.

⁵ The thoughts of just or rightwise men be dooms; and the counsels of wicked men be guileful.

² He that is good, shall draw to himself (the) grace of the Lord, (or He who is good, shall draw favour to himself from the Lord); but he that trusteth in his (own) thoughts, doeth wickedly.

³ A man shall not be made strong by wickedness; and the root of just men shall not be moved. (No one is made strong by wickedness; but the roots of the righteous shall not be uprooted.)

⁴ A diligent woman is a crown to her husband; and rot is in the bones of that woman, that doeth things worthy of confusion. (A diligent woman is a crown to her husband; but rot is in the bones of her, who doeth shameful things.)

⁵ The thoughts of just men be dooms; and the counsels of wicked men be guileful. (The thoughts of the righteous be lawful; and the plans of the wicked be deceitful or and the advice of the wicked is deceptive.)
